I bought these a year ago. They were snug at first but soon loosened to be just right. Wonderful on ice, I feel very safe with them on. I only wish they came in more colors!

Perfect fit with heavy socks, size 7. (my normal size is 6 1/2.) As usual another excellent product from LLBEAN.

I have had five pairs of these boots so far. They are warm in the winter and feel great on your feet.

I wear them fall to spring and I wish they had a lighter pair for summer!

This was a terrific purchase. These 'boots' are very comfortable and I feel secure on the ice because they have serious traction on the bottom. I recommend these for winter, snow and ice. Terrific

I wore my black ones all last winter in our snowy icy conditions and felt very secure. I took them for chore boots on our ranch this winter and ordered the brown ones for going to town! Love them and they are well worth the price.

What a great idea to have shoes with built in grips, rather than attaching something to your shoes. The shoe is also comfortable. I'm looking forward to wearing them on icy topped snow.

Comfortable with good sole support, rugged and waterproof --- I like these so much that after using them for nearly one year, I just ordered a second pair to place outside on the back portal for me to slip into for bird feeding, cleaning the bird baths and gardening. The other pair are ready in the mud room on the other side of the house for gardening.

These are just what I needed and wanted. Comfort, stability and traction- 5 stars!

I love these shoes! I wanted a well-made, anti-slip, waterproof shoe for walking my dog in the winter. I also wanted a slip-on shoe so I wouldn't have to hassle with ties that come undone. The Storm Chaser meets all of my needs. The fit is true to size (I don't like to wear heavy socks) and they sure are anti-slip! I could walk around my icy back yard/woods without any slipping this winter - no need for cleats! Fantastic! For those who commented the shoes are hard to slip on because they are stiff and the hole is small: I solved that problem by using a long-handled shoe horn (I learned that trick from a commenter on a previous brand I bought). I have no problem quickly slipping the shoes on with that, and there is no need to bend over. They have been very comfortable for the multiple daily walks with my dog. Thanks, LLBean!

I bought this style of boot last year and liked them so much I bought the same product for my wife. PA got more snow than normal this season and the usual snow, sleet, and rain combo made walking tricky. The design of these casual boots give a secure waterproof footing. Used regular socks and still had warm feet. They have turned into our "go to" boots for day to day use. As always a real down to earth top quality product from LLB you can depend on.

Very comfortable. Perfect slip on for quick jaunts in sloppy weather. I do find them a bit tight to put on with heavy wool hiking socks. But nothing my long shoe horn can't handle. Once on they are very comfortable! Held nicely on the ice too.

I bought these recently and really like them. I have a narrow long foot and they fit perfect. I have worn them in 18 inches of snow and when there has been a glaze of ice. No slip no slide. Waterproof and warm. I really enjoy just being able to slide into them. I have other LLBean boots and shoes. These are my new favorite.

Advise to size up if you are a 1/2 size in a shoe measurement. The length is great, the shoe is comfortable, the quality seems to be as claimed but it is too wide on my foot with a M width and the shoe slips on me walking. It is not very easy to pull on when my intention was to get a pair I can slip on and off quickly. The important thing is I have not slipped with the arctic grip bottoms on slippery conditions.

Purchased this item based on the reviews of others and I could not be happier. I went down a half size and they fit well. They are warm and comfortable. Yes, they are snug around the ankle and need a bit of a push to get them on, but I would not change that feature as it helps keep snow and water out. They do loosen a bit with time. They help you feel sure-footed on icy surfaces and are perfect for wearing in areas cleared of heavy snow but where you still need something waterproof on your feet.

I loved them from the first time I put them on!! Great dog walking- my new favorite boots!!!

This shoe keeps my feet dry and warm in the snow and rain. I am really liking it and recommend it. It is even comfortable to go shopping in the bad weather when you do not want to wear a full boot.
