The first time I put these on at the store I feel in LOVE.I use them at for work standing and walking on a hard floor and put in miles daily, planter fascia stays calm-had to buy 2 more pairs!

I don't use these shoes for running. I use them for everyday wear and for going to exercise class such as kettlebells and TRX. The large toe box is great for accommodating wiggle room for toes. I hate confining shoes. The shoes are slightly dressier then wearing sneakers so they go good with a nice pair of hiking pants and a sweater for going into town. These are so comfortable that I purchased a second pair even before the first pair wore out..I was afraid they would discontinue this model so I wanted to edge my bets!

These shoes are perfect for my feet. The wider toe box leaves plenty of room for my foot to sit comfortably in the shoes. I love how lightweight they are. Also like the stylingvery clean lines without bright colors and no extra bells and whistles. The tread feels very grippy and I feel very secure hiking in them. I had never heard of this brand before, but I'm so happy I found them.

I love this sneaker!! First of all, they r so cute and comfortable. Also looks great w/ jeans and I never like sneakers w/ jeans. I Hike regularly w/ my dog and the bottom of the sneaker grips the ground even on ice. No slipping!

I wear these shoes everyday for work and my daily walks. They really are the most comfortable and by far, have become my Favorite!!!

This is my favorite trail/hiking shoe yet...and I've tried every reputable brand out there. I would LOVE this in a waterproof version! Thank you Altra!

LOVE. Thank you for letting my toes breathe and wiggle if they want. Mostly appreciate aging in shoes like these, elder foot pain is no joke. I am buying a backup pair right now. Love the light grey colors, fabrics, & styling. Thank you.

Bought these in black to bring on a trip so I had an option "fancier" than my Lone Peak sneakers. They are amazing and I will be purchasing the taupe color soon. They are a more relaxed fit (laces not as tight) than the sneakers and the toe box is a bit wider. I firmly believe that Altra shoes are the only shoes worth bringing on a trip when you have limited luggage capacity and when you know you'll be doing a lot of walking. The Alpine were comfortable right out of the box and also a great option for the 7 hour plane ride. My Pedorthist recommended Altras several years ago due the bone spur on my big toe. I tried a few Altra models before settling on the Lone Peak as my favorite. It's nice to have this "Alpine" option along with the regular sneaker and the "all weather" model as options.

Not my first pair, nor will it be my last. My toes adore the shape and admission that they need room in order to be happy.

These are fabulous shoes.

Ever since i have discovered Altra, i have not bought another brand of shoe. I have no more plantar fasciitis since wearing them. the Alpine is a bit wider than the sneakers, so i was able to order my true show size. I love Altra!

After work everyday I walk dogs for some extra cash and I bought these shoes specifically for that. I was wearing Vivobarefoot shoes on my walks at first but I felt I needed some extra cushion because I was walking mostly on pavement/sidewalks. The Alpines do exactly what I needed and they're WONDERFUL. I wanted some cushion and a wide toebox and these shoes fit the bill. I love them so much and they've worked well for me these past few weeks, walking dogs and worn in casual settings as well. They're definitely my new favorite pair of shoes!

I bought these to trail run in, I love them so much I hike in them too! I have summited a peak in these and have done 10-14 mile day hikes.They are lightweight and comfortable, and not too bulky for running.

I walk most every day and am always looking for the perfect shoe for my less than perfect feet. The wide toe box is great. I'm not sure that the sole feels sturdy enough for a hiking shoe, but perfect for everyday shoes. I also like the style and would love to see it in more colors

A friend recommended Altra shoes to me when I was looking for a quality walking shoe. I texted with Leah C at length before purchasing my shoes and she was a great help. She answered all my questions and explained the return policy. I will definitely NOT be returning these shoes!

I bought these shoes primarily for walking. I have other Altra shoes that I use for running. These shoes have a great look and feel. Would definitely buy them again!

For the first time in many years, I look forward to putting my shoes on everyday! They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I wish you made some sort of casual dress shoe.

The rare pair of shoes that just makes you happy - and look so cute all the while. It just doesn't get any better than this. Beautiful function, design and quality. So glad I made the decision to buy! If I hadn't Id just be missing out!

I am a nurse so I am on my feet all day long. I have all Altra shoes because I love every pair. However, THESE are My favorite BY FAR! I wore them right out of the box the first day fir 16 hours straight! My feet felt great! Wearing them feels like my feet are getting a little massage with every step. Amazing!
