Very disappointed in Brooks Ghost 14. I was happy to find a colorful shoe in my size finally but when I opened the box the quality of the shoe was not up to par with the shoes I have become accustomed to from Brooks. When I tried them on the shoe size was good but walking a few miles they were very uncomfortable and I returned them. Still waiting for a credit to come through.

Really disappointed with the color. It is bright purple/light purple and teal in the picture online and labeled as violet and the shoes I received are just pink and look nothing like the picture. I really hate pink and was disappointed.

Bought the ghost 14 thinking they would be similar to the ghost 13. Not at all what I expected. More narrow and the comfort level was not anything like the 13. Brooks customer service is the best by far though. I will have to continue to look and see what I can find similar to the 13.

These run way smaller than the ghost 13

I do not care for this newer version. The ghost has always been super comfy but the 14 make my feet hurt and go numb. They seem to be very narrow on my heels and hurt the top of my foot. I have lymphodema in my left foot and plantar fasciitis in both feet and these were my go to running shoe but I have switched to the launch and will not get the ghost version of brooks again unless things change for the better.

The new design and shape of the tongue causes the tongue of the shoe to dig into the top/front of your ankles. It comes up too high. The arch is also uncomfortable - too high perhaps. I?ve worn Brooks Ghost for close to 10 years for running - this version is not great and it will take some time to break them in.

Not great so far. I've had a few of the previous Ghost models and have been pretty happy with them, but these seem different. I have been immediately putting more cushioned athletic insoles in my new running sneakers for a while, but I decided not to do that with these - and it felt like running barefoot on cement. My legs were sore the next day, after just a 4 mile run on a route I do all the time. I did try the old insoles out of my previous running sneakers and that improved the cushion a little - but I feel like any brand new running sneaker should feel more comfortable than these do without special insoles. I may give them a couple more runs to see if I just need to get used to them - but there's a good chance I'll return them.

I have been a Brooks Ghost lover for years. I am someone who works out 6-to-7 days in a row with at least 2+ miles of running, plus rowing and strength training. I recently bought the Ghost 14 and found that they do not fit as comfortably as the Ghost 13, specifically my left foot. Also, Brooks has changed the laces to flat versus round style. The flat laces are slick and do not stay tied which stops me in during my workouts some times multiple times. And sorry for some reason the tongs do not stay in place, I don?t remember that happening in the previous models. To remedy I will be changing the laces and I may switch out the insoles to help with comfort. Best, #BrooksLover

Not comfortable at all. I love the design & colors but these shoes are not comfortable in the least bit.

I have been wearing GHOST for years. I always look forward to a new pair and that new cushion perfect fit feeling, This version is different, The shoe is longer, not much support, and not nearly as cushioned as past generations. The cost keeps going up but the quality and comfort of GHOST 14 has really gone down. I am very disappointed.

I?ve been buying the Brooks Ghost for the past 10 years and this is, by far, the most uncomfortable model I have ever owned. Very disappointed. I?m a firm believer in the phrase, ?if it ain?t broke, don?t fix it?. I wish Brooks would adopt this philosophy.

the ghost has been my training shoe for eons. I buy 5-8 pair a year...not any more. There is less cushioning on the ball/front than is in my high healed dress shoes.. The tongue is like 20 lb.; paper stock, very thin. A very poor redesign. I hope my 13's last, and I wish I did not convert my 10 & 11 to garden shoes.

Loved the color but of my new Brooks shoes. However, i felt it was lacking in cushioning in comparison to the previous Ghost shoes I have. Very, very disappointed since these were going to be my training shoes for the Cooper Bridge run in April. Only gave a 2 because the confetti color is so cute.

I switched to Ghost 13 over a year ago. They are the most comfortable running shoes I've had & I've been able to run w/o experiencing any knee or leg problems. I ordered the Ghost 14 & immediately sent it back. The toe box is much narrower than the 13's which made them unwearable. I don't understand why you messed w/a great sneaker. Pls bring back Ghost 13's!

The Ghost 14 just doesn?t have hardly any stability & it causes balance problems. And although my socks have the tabs at the back every pair has torn at the top. Main problem is they?re great on dry roads but I always have to wear different shoes when it?s rained/wet road conditions.
