I have given Brooks two tries, and at this point, I'm giving up. After running one mile, my feet are in pain. It's like I can feel the sole through the insert, and it causes horrible pain. I have never had this issue with other running shoes. My feet end up hurting the rest of the day.

I have been wearing the Women?s Ghost shoe since the Ghost 11. I usually buy 3-4 pairs per year and walk 15-20 miles per week on a treadmill. I also wear a wide shoe (8.5 Wide). I was excited to get my Women Ghost 14. I have never had any foot injuries or pain in my right foot and after a few weeks developed severe right foot pain in my metatarsal and toe area. I have gone back to my Ghost 13?s and the pain is receding. Not sure what has changed but the Ghost 14 no longer works for me. Based on what I am reading looks like a lot of reviewers agree the Ghost 14 was not an improvement. Bring back the Ghost 13. I got a new pair of Ghost 13?s from a reseller so I am good for a few more months. I am either going to need to get a recommendation or find a new shoe.

Least favorite Ghost I've ever owned. Sides bulge out, fits my foot poorly, doesn't feel as cushy and past Ghosts...which has never been an issue. Unfortunately, since I've been wearing my other shoes instead of these, I have lost track of time and exceeded the return time frame.

I?m having the same issues as other Ghost runners. I?ve been running in them pain free for 10 years but my feet ache in these. They feel cheap and unsupportive on the ball and sides. I actually double checked to see if I?d accidentally bought a knock off; the quality is so much lower than in the past.

I have been wearing Brooks Ghost since the 6. The 14 is by far the most uncomfortable Ghost version I have tried. I am normally an 8.5 medium width in previous versions of this model but immediately I could tell these were much more narrow than what I am used to so I tried the 8.5 wide and it was still way too narrow to the point where I had to take them off after 30 minutes due to the pain. When you make the Ghost 15, PLEASE bring back the wider version of this shoe, like the previous years model. For now, I will order a couple pairs of Ghost 13, which fit perfectly, while you still have them in stock.

Not at all like previous Ghosts. These are short, tight in the toe box, and don't have enough cushion. I absolutely loved the 11s. The 13s were okay after a long breaking in period, but these are so uncomfortable I'm not even going to give them a breaking in chance.

I take a wide width. I have had several Ghosts shoes going back several years. I didn't have the Ghost 13 but these 14's are too narrow. The are manufactured differently than the previous Ghost shoes. The Ghost 12's I had were wider.

I?ve been wearing Ghosts since the 9?s. Up until the 13?s I?ve never had an issue with foot pain or other things. It seems like this most current model doesn?t have the cushion I?m used to. They used to be almost springy. I have heel pain and soreness after running in these, which hadn?t happened in the past. Unfortunately I think it?s time to switch to a different brand altogether. Why keep spending big money on a shoe that doesn?t perform like it used to?

I've always worn a 9 in Brooks. These feel 1/2 size small. Tight in the toe area and making a blister on my feet. Ive never owned a Brooks that I didn't love. Wish I had tried them on it the store before ordering.

I loved the Ghost 12 and bought 6 pairs. The Ghost 14 are very uncomfortable. I feel like I'm walking on a board. The shoe simply won't break-in. Back to the drawing board for Brooks.

I?ve own/ and owned many Ghost shoes. These by far are the worst ever made. Ghost 14 are an epic failure. I love Brooks, but I absolutely was in excruciating pain. Do yourself a favor and skip these! One star because they look nice.

Why do you insist on changing the shoe with each model? I?ve been running in Brooks Ghost since the 9 and it seems like every other model veers away from the one before. Liked the 11, hated the 10 and 12, loved the 13 and the 14 I want to burn. The shoe is a solid 1/2 size smaller than the 13, not just the width of the toe box but the length of the shoe. The laces come up too far on the ankle which caused my feet to go numb while running. After two attempts with the shoe I ended up with sore calves and knees. I?m so sad. Keep making the 13?s because I won?t be trying again until the 15 comes out.

I am a long-time runner in Brooks shoes but every time they release a new pair with fun colors or styles--like the run hoppy collection--they NEVER make them available in Size D (wide). It's like this shoe size is relegated to a second class of runners with boring, muted colors and styles. I wear Size D because of high arches and while I fully understand not having the choice of colors and styles is not really an issue, but from a sales and customer service perspective, they should listen to their customers.

I have always purchased Ghost wide. I was so sad today when the shoes were to narrow and my feet were in pain. Why did Brooks change the width? I called customer service and they suggested trying mens shoes. I would, but they are not attractive. I gave one star only because the shoes are very pretty. Sadly I have to return both pairs

What a mess. The toe box is HUGE and the shoes are incredibly uncomfortable. I have run for over half my life and LOVE Brooks Ghost sneakers. I have owned at least 10 pairs of them. The Ghost 14 is the first pair I cannot stand to wear. I exchanged them for the Ghost 13 (a far superior shoe).

The 14 is a big step down from the 12. It sorely lacks both cushioning and arch support and has a tight midsole.
