I hate them. Stiff. Unforgiving. Returning them.

I've always worn the Ariels, but wanted to try something new. I loved the look, but it offered no arch support. It felt like my feet were rolling in all day. I really wanted them to work, but I had to return them. The return process was wonderful.

I have four pairs of Ghost 13, these shoes were great. I purchased a pair of the Ghost 14 and they are terrible. Brooks made unnecessary changes between the 13 & 14. The 14's are more ridged and have less cushion. They are stiff and uncomfortable. I don't understand why they need to make silly tweaks. Plus I purchased them from Dick's sporting goods so there is no way I can return them. Their return policy is only 30 days, not enough time to find out how the shoe works. If you love the 13's stay away from the 14's. If you do purchase them, buy them from Brooks because they have the Run Happy Guarantee. I am NOT happy.

I have had Brooks Ghost shoes for around 10 years, ordering a new pair every year when the new one comes out. This is the FIRST time I sent these back! Specifically the Ghost 14. Brooks has redone these and lifted the heel slightly, but just enough to put more pressure on the ball of the feet and the toes.. I wore them about an hour and they had to go back! I don?t know why they don?t leave well-enough alone! That did it for me. No more Brooks until they fix this issue and get the heel and front foot on the same plane. I?m going for Hoka to try from here on. I was so disappointed! After wearing them for so long and now having to change. Also, I have to wear a 9 Wide in these, and they never have enough Wides. Never do they have them in the cool designs and colors.

This is the my 6 pair of Brooks over the years. I am not pleased with the Ghost 14. the Ghost were my go to shoe up until the 14. Something has changed with the arch and heel support. My feet hurt so bad after I wear them. Need to go back to the design of the Ghost 12's.

I've been wearing the Ghost for years and just got my new 14s. Love the color (lime green and black) but wow there's a reflective piece of plastic attached to the tongue and it makes the tongue so stiff it digs into my ankles. I've only run in these 4 times and I thought I was going to have to stop running today, I was in so much pain. Unfortunately I can't return these so I'm stuck with an very uncomfortable pair of expensive shoes.

Not cushioned enough for my comfort

I didn?t even run in my ghost shoes and top on both shoes fell apart. Won?t do anything about repairing or discount. Will not buy theses shoes pricy to come apart.

TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the Ghost 13. I?ve been wearing the Ghost line since they came out, I don?t know why Brooks changed a good thing. Don?t blindly order these- go try them on.

Had to return them. Very uncomfortable! Hard insole and the structure near the arch on the inside hurt.

These things snag on shipping carts even. Cheaply made and expensive as heck. Don?t buy; haven?t paid them off and wore them 4 days and they?re going in trash. Furious

The Ghost 14 has drastically changed from previous years. The shoe is significantly wider and longer. I've ordered the same size Ghost year after year and this one is a total disappointment.

Sending them back!! Stepped out of my Glycerins and into the Ghosts and no comparison!! The Glycerins are much more padded and cushioned!! Will order more of them!

Unfortunately this is the first pair of Ghost (been running in them since they came out) that caused me some pain, achilles tendon pain to be exact. Gave them a shot for several runs but had to return. Bought up some Ghost 13s to bridge the gap until the 15 comes out later this year and hoping that the updated midsole addresses whatever the issue or change was between the 13 and 14. Brooks customer service was great and I got a full refund including shipping/taxes so no issues there.

just not for me. I have a flat foot and these are too stiff. they hug my feet too much. i?m a nurse and have to be on my feet for 12 hours and these are not it

returned these shoes. they caused a blister on my Achilles after second day

I?ve had 5 pair of Ghost 13. I thought the 14 would fit the same. They do not. The instep is not as supportive, the shoe feels narrow and the sole is stiff. I have worn them for one 4-mile walk. Can I return them? Ir, is there a place to purchase Ghost 13? Linda Levy
