I could tell the minute I put them on they aren't as good as the Ghost 13 or 12 I have. Not as comfortable nor has the good side support I need.

These hurt my foot within the first 1 hour of wearing them! I decided to return the shoes. After 2 weeks, I?m still waiting for my return to go through. Very dissatisfied and disappointed all the way around with Brooks.

I have been wearing the Ghosts for several years and have always loved them, until this model. My first pair of Ghost 14s felt flat after only about 200 miles (4 weeks of training for me), whereas previous models have lasted me over 400! The slight price increase of this shoe over the Ghost 13s combined with the significant decrease in durability is really not what I expected. The fit of these shoes also feels clunky and not as comfortable to run in as previous Ghost models - I feel like I?m hitting the ground harder and not transitioning as smoothly from stride to stride. Really disappointed with this model and hoping that the next iteration will be more like the Ghost 13s.

Fit was right on. Room for expansion which is key when you buy any footwear but especially important in athletic shoes.
I have a beloved Ghost 12 pair that are nearing their end. These were okay to try on but after a week, I had early symptoms of plantar fasciitis. Thinking it was a coincidence, I kept wearing them and the pain got worse. I stopped wearing them and went back to the Ghost 12's, and the pain went away. My conclusion, they've cut back on arch support. I don't know the internal design but boy do my feet know!! I'm on my feet for 12 hours and I walk 3 miles per day with my dog. So I am a heavy user. Brooks has always been there through it all. Bit I'm afraid this is the end. Every time they redesign the model, some end up loving it and others hate it. I'm afraid I'm in the latter half.

Unfortunately this new version of the brooks ghost is not the same as the 13. Less cushion, support and overall feel. They look pretty but that is it. So disappointed.

I’ve had several pairs of the ghost 13. These were a disappointment. Too narrow, too short. Uncomfortable since the first run. Bring back ghost 13!!!

I didn?t feel much support on these. I returned these and kept the adrenaline. I took the test online and it recommended the Ghost as I?m a neutral runner but I felt better support with the Adrenaline

I?ve been buying the Ghost since 2012, it?s my favorite running shoe. Unfortunately, the changes they made in the 14 did not suit me at all. The toe box seemed much more narrow even though I got the wide, I ended up developing neuroma.

I loved the look of the shoe but i got major feet problems after wearing the shoes to run. I have many pairs of Brooks, but these are not good ones! I am very disappointed and will not be able to wear them again so this purchase was a waste of money. I hope that this message is reviewed by Brooks as it is making me reconsider ordering another pair of their shoes. BTW I love Zappos! Always great service and selection.

Very disappointed. I have used Ghost 13 and where wonderful but after wearing Ghost 14 at work my feet hurt for over a day. Not sure what changed but will never buy again. I am glad I was able to return and just waiting for my refund

These shoes are super comfortable, but are not durable. My first shoe I bought was ripping at the seams after being worn for less than a week. I received a replacement of a newer model and they have rips on the lip of the shoe. I have worn these for about a month. I take really good care of my shoes and I am disappointed. The tear at the lip is super visible because the foam peaks out. I will not be buying from brooks no longer.

I was so disappointed in the 14?s. The 13?s are much more comfortable. I am a very petite lady and my feet and back were not happy in the 14?s. I wish they made the 13?s in the 14?s colors.

I really like the colors I got the black and purple leopard both versions but they are not the same they hurt my feet I have bought ghost. Shoes for years and they were wonderful these seem to slide up and down when you are walking bought the same size I always buy and it?s like they have no cushion

The shoes were disappointing. I use them for walking the hills on gravel roads in our rural community. The soles are very cushioned, but caused very bad pain in my knees, hips, ankle, back and Thigh. I am switching back to the Ghost thirteen which is excellent and eliminates all pain!

They are awful. I couldn?t even wear them for an hour. The size was right but the hurt so bad everywhere on my feet. The only thing I can say is I liked the color I picked. I want to love them so much but I can not.

I bought these for walking shoes. For whatever reason after walking about 4 miles over a week my feet, knees, hip, and back were in extreme pain. I went back to my Orthofeet tennis shoes and the pain went away. I gave them a good try because I really love the look, but they just aren't right for my body.

I ordered an 8 wide and these are NOT wide at all. I have other Brooks shoes that fit and feel very comfortable. Sadly I can’t return them cuz I wore them on a walk.

not flexible toe box. At first I thought it might be due to a smaller sized ordered based on previous reviews. I reorder a 1/2 size up, but did comfort did not improve. Love my ghost 13, and I am completely disappointed in the new 14s.

I loved Ghosts up through the 11. I was so happy to have shoes that didn't hurt my feet after a few wears. Ever since the sole was changed though they hurt my feet. I have a pair of Ghost 13s and 14s that just don't offer the same comfort and support. Within a short while my back and right foot hurt. I won't be buying any more Ghosts. I'm not sure if any other Brooks styles would be better but I'm afraid to spend that amount of money again to try.

Sadly I didn't listen to the reviews because I had to have the shamrock shoes. I've been wearing Ghosts for years and this was the first time putting on a new pair of Ghosts that they didn't feel better than my worn out pair. They were cute so I wore them all day and at the end of the day my feet hurt. They are not comfortable and my feet, specifically my right, felt out of place in them all day. Ordered the same size as I always have.

Let me start by saying that I have been the biggest promoter of Brooks running shoes for many years. But this model misses the mark on so many levels. There is no cushion. It feels like you are running barefoot on the concrete. The are hard as a rock when you slide your feet into them. I?m not sure what went wrong with the 14s, but I will now be branching away from being loyal to Brooks for over 15 years. Buy the 13s or an older model. Wouldn?t recommend the 14s to anyone.
