I have LOVED the Ghost shoe for years, but sadly, I am not a fan of the changes with the 14. The fit, support, and cushion of the 13 was so much better for my foot. The 14's body is not as snug- does not "hug" my foot securely no matter how I adjust the lacing. the sole has some cushion, but not the same as previous versions. It is more rigid and has less squish. Like going from a softer mattress to a firm one. No longer the shoe for me.

I decided to try the Ghost 14 after I retired my first pair of Ghost 13 (I ended up buying a second pair of Ghost 13 as well). The 14 on first try, fit my foot well and I felt it was a bit more supportive around the arch than the 13. I did notice that the 14 do need to be broken into, which was not the case for the 13. This does not matter much in the long run because you will end up putting a couple hundred miles on the shoe. My biggest gripe with the 14 is the laces. Although, the design is sleek, the laces keep unraveling and untying, this becomes very annoying. I once had to stop and retie within a 2mi distance. I refuse to double knot the shoe. The chunky tube laces on the Ghost 13 and the Adrenaline GST 21 (which I owe as well, because my left foot is slight pronated) do NOT give me this issue.

I received my 6th pair of the Ghost edition shoe. I am not a fan of the changes. The Ghost 14 no longer fits as comfortable as it once did. I am a 10.5 W and the shoe is now a touch too narrow. This was never an issue with the 11, 12, or 13 editions. It also does not feel as flexible when adjusting your step quickly. Looks great though!

When I stepped into these shoes, they felt like a cloud. However, once I started walking around in them, I noticed the tongue seemed very stiff. I figured that would soften once I ran in them. I was SO wrong. The tongue was so stiff and hard, it felt like I was being stabbed in the upper foot/ankle area the entire time, and then it felt like the area was bruised for the next three days! I felt the tongue next to the tongues on all my other Brooks shoes, and it was insane how stiff it was while the others were so soft, even with varying degrees of plushness. I had to send these back.

Love the fit but the fabric is freying on the top already after only a few weeks! I'm so sad because it looks so bad.

Great show, terrible laces. The laces give the entire shoe a very cheap look and feel. Come on Brooks, you can do better!
