I've worn Cascadias for since 2015, every single model since the Cascadia 8's. I've probably put over 5,000 trail miles on different Cascadia shoes over the years. This is the first pair that I've ever returned. As soon as I took my first step, I could feel the extended rock guard pinching against my big toe/ the ball of my foot. I gave it about 30 miles to see if I could break it in / get used to it. It never got better, and I had to return it before the blisters started coming. Luckily I found some Cascadia 14's still for sale, and have a stopgap. Hopefully this is a random bad version of the Cascadias, otherwise I'll be in the market for a new brand of shoe. Very disappointing, and looking at the reviews this is not a problem unique to me.

I've been using the Cascadia since version 12. It kept getting better and better with version 15 being great. This has changed with version 16 with it being a very uncomfortable shoe. The causes major bruising on the lateral side of the foot from the heel to the arch. Please bring back the old version as it was useable. Will have to shop around to find something else in the 8mm or so drop.

These could have been great shoes, but they are too stiff. I had to return them before they gave me blisters.
