Cascadia has always been great, but the new v16 gave me bad blisters. Never had that before with new shoes.

I like the styling a lot. For comfort, though, the fit feels too loose and results in extra fabric that pinches inward on my toes / foot on the inner side. I wear it around town, but won't be taking it on trails due to discomfort (pinching) and a generally sloppy feel.

The shoe fits well and is comfortable. I ran about 15 miles in the shoes upon getting them. I then ran a 50 mile race, and I received two horrible blisters on my heels. I have never blistered before on that part of my foot. Uncertain if it's the shoe or the newness of the race for me (first ultra-marathon).

I have a pair of ghost 12. They fit snug and broke in perfect. Same size Cascadia 16 feels a 1/2 size to big. I don't have the box anymore so I have to deal with it ?

This is really a pretty good shoe if it fits your foot right. I got these as trail shoes for some long XC races I’ve got scheduled. The toe box and fore foot are very large and too wide for my feet. I’ve got size 11 med D. My Brooks Adrenaline GTS are the same size and width and the fit is perfect. Cascadia fit very different from Adrenaline so be aware of that. Ended up with a lot of blisters on forefoot due to sliding around in them. I put down about 30 miles on these before retiring then to daily use “which they are good at”. Haven’t had issues wearing them casually.

The shoes did not fit. I ordered sizes 101/2 and 11 width D. What I need is 101/2 EE, and you didn't have any of those. Thank you for your convenient shipping and return procedures.

I am a big Brooks fan and needed to replace my worn out Caldera 5s and thought i should try the cascadias for the weekend trail runs. They look great and they fit fine but somehow I could not get comfortable in them, in particular I kept getting cramps on my soles (a first for me across the Launch, Ghost and Calderas I have enjoyed). So after 20 miles i sent them back and will get caldera again

I purchased extra-wide to accommodate my wide feet. Was disappointed to find the shoes tight on the instep. I have to leave the laces loose to avoid any pain or soreness duirng my walks. Many shoes I looked at on the website did not come in wide so I took what I could get and ended up unhappy with my perchase.

I've owned probably 6 or 7 pairs of Cascadias in addition to other Brooks footwear. I'm consistently a size 13 but these feel different out of the gate. The toe box is definitely bigger. I can't tell if I should have sized down but wanted to give others a heads up. That said, the lugs seem like an upgrade. Time will tell if these work out.

I have used Cascadias for many years. The new design of the 16 just does not feel good to me. The rubber around the toe box is stiff and presses in where the shoe bends as you run. The toe box is really big too. They did feel like they had slightly more cushion then the 15's, but the discomfort was too much. Brooks was kind enough to take them back on a refund. I wear Ghosts for the road and they are amazing. I wish there was a shoe like the Ghost with the rock shield sole. THAT would be a perfect trail shoe for me. As it is, I'm running my next few trail races in my old 15's. Bummer, as I had hoped the 16's would be awesome. I tried Speedgoats but the low drop is uncomfortable. I googled "Shoes like Cascadia" to try and find an alternative as well. May try and find the other Brooks models in a store to try on. I'm a Brooks fan. Maybe the 17 will fix the 16's issues.

The tongue gusset is way too tight, I have a C width and trying to get my foot into the shoe is a problem. The shoe is also stiffer than what I remember of the Cascadia earlier models

The Cascadia is just not a comfortable shoe. There was a camouflaged one you had for a while and thats the one I wanted. You dont really sell many wide shoes snd compensating with additional length makes for an uncomfortable shie.

Cascadia runs big and has hard edges around foot box. I would return them if I could but mail ordered from Brooks and I wore then outside for fit. I also bought like Caldera and love them

Very stiff-I got these for a great deal. After running in Ghost sneakers for years I deviated and I regret it. Makes sense that they are stiffer and less comfortable as rocks and stuff on trails can be felt more in road shoes. I'm going to keep them to see if they break in more. Not the worst but going from road shoes to trail shoes should be considered if making that switch.

Toe box is MUCH wider than in past years.actually much to wide making the shoe uncomfortable to wear. I should have returned them but thought that I would get use to them. Big mistake.

I'm glad I never wore these outside before I tested some Hokas. These felt less comfortable and also less supportive. Both the heel cushioning and the lateral support were night and day, and not in favor of the Cascadia. I also felt pressure along the laces, which I didn't feel in the Hokas. The sale price was good, but not good enough for me to keep them.

Shoes are great for walking but bought them to run in. My feet continually hurt every time I go for run. Thought maybe I just needed to break them in, but sad to say no. Look great but don't feel great.

Probably a fine shoe, but had to return them since they were so big. Feels like shoes keep changing sizes. (My last Cascadias were perfect at 11.5, and now these are unwearably huge. My feet were shloshing around like the last hot dog in the pan.) Anyway, just my 2 cents. I received an e-mail to rate these a week after I returned them, so here we are. Thanks for reading. Have a great day, everyone.

This shoe is almost perfect... grippy, solid, durable (so far), and cushioned without being too high (a la Hokas). Love the built in gaiter attachment. The problem? The area that touches the bottom of my ankles feels like it's jabbing me. Not such a problem on flat trails but occurs on hilly and uneven trails meaning most of what I run. I don't see any visible exposed parts of plastic upper but something in that area is stabbing my ankle! If not for that I'd give it four stars.
