Used size match on the site for shoe size and it suggested a men???s 12 based on NB 11.5 as my usual shoe. Not sure if sizing thing on site is off or shoe is large but the toe box seems big and I have a big foot. Not using for running (just casual shoe) but would probably return if it was a running shoe. For casual shoe size is okay. I wore 11.5 in brooks pure series but they are no longer available. Haven???t worn brooks in a few years.

Supportive sole, grippy and works great with my neutral gait- just what I was looking for

So far so good! The Cascadia 16 seem to be well made and able to handle a variety of terrain I've thrown at them so far. I've done quite a few shorter (< 4 mile) trail runs and an 8 mile hike and they remained comfortable and supportive throughout. There was no break-in period for me. They were comfortable right out of the box, which is one of the things I like about Brooks - in addition to their more robust arch support. The toe box is snug on my feet but by no means narrow. I found them to be a reasonable weight given their durable construction.
They also appear highly breathable but withholding further judgment until the Texas summer gets here in April.

They seam to run slightly big compared to my ghost and glycerin; a little longer and with a wider toe box. Also, the heel slips just a little and it is hard to get it locked down without over tightening laces at the ankle. These are really minor issues that are mostly eliminated by wearing a bit thicker socks which if fine as I mainly use and really love these for light hiking and walking dirt trails and roads. They have fantastic grip, perfect balance between cushion and stiffness that really blocks out impact of sharp rocks while preventing fatigue and sore joints. They also look great which is always a plus and often hard to find in trail shoes.

I purchased these shoes on 8/7 and received them on 8/15 so it took a week to deliver. In today's world, this seems like a long time, but it's really not. Once I received them, I took them on a 3 mile hike to break them in. I hike in CA in the desert so it's fairly rocky and rough terrain. I had some pain/tightness in my left foot after the hike, but felt fine after resting. The shoes were broken in by my second hike a few days later. So far, I have hiked about 40 miles in them over the last two weeks and they have held up fairly well.
Fit = Snug and cushiony but very supportive. I tend to roll my ankles hiking, but these were very stable and have so far kept me from rolling. I wear Brooks Ghosts while running and these are a great alternative for hiking/trail running.
Grip = Great traction and grip. I have very little slipping on rocks or loose dirt
Durability = Left tread (see pictures) already has some significant wear. Right show is doing great. We'll see if these holdup and how long.
Looks: I really like the look. In the tan with orange soles, they are a somewhat classic looking hiking shoe, but are not bulky.
Overall, I'd like to buy another pair, but I'm going to see how the tread wears. I'm hoping they will last like my right shoe and not my left.

Shoe feels heavy. Can take the rocks underneath. Not a speedy shoe, but more of a hike running one.

I ordered the medium width, but it seems a bit wider than past years. The traction is very good and the front mesh material is a bit better protected than the previous generation. For the price, it would be nice if these came with a choice of arch supports. I don't like that I have to buy them as an after-purchase from a third party.

I liked the color. So many times you make the wide shoes dark and drab. But the shoe is not as wide as the earlier model. I appreciate the addition of the rock plate.

Ordered these shoes out of necessity, I could not get 9 4E on my go to shoes Adrenalins. Had to settle for these , they are fine but are too narrow for me . Trying to make them work

The Cascadia is a consistently good quality shoe. I usually get the GTX for the winter and the regular for the summer/fall.

So far so good! Cannot give 5 stars because time hasn't told the durability of these shoes yet. They also fit my wide, flat, feet which I cannot say for many other brands.

Used sizing suggested on website base on current brand. When delivered shoes where half size too big, ordered normal size and they fit great. Delivery was quick. I love look of shoes and construction seems very good. I only have about 30 miles in them so durability and long term comfort are unknown. My normal run is 5 to 8 miles on gravel road, due to stiffness the first 2 to 3 miles are a little slow but comfort and pace improves after about 3 miles. Seems like they would be great hikers..
