I was running on another brand of trail shoe but it was giving me plantar. I bought the Brooks Cascadia 16 and after some break in time, they are great. Inside heel is wearing out after about 200 miles, but I don't feel any heel slip. The toe box is nice and roomy, perfect in fact. I've tried other Brooks road shoes, but I can't find any that are the same feel as the Cascadia for the road, even trying different sizes, widths, models. Looks like all my running will be in the Cascadia, but I'm not complaining.

Just got back from 6 mile run with patches of snow and ice covered path and the traction provided by the Cascadia 16 was great! No slips, very protective, and great fit. The shoe is also very breathable. My only negative is that the shoe firmed up a fair amount on a run around 10F, not a deal breaker but good to know before you experience it. I wear a 10.5 EE in both this shoe and the Ghost. Love them both!

Once again great product would recommend them to any trail runner !!!

Really like do far as a work / walking shoe

I love the stability of these shoes, and they grip the trail even on wet days. I also love that they are designed by Louie Gong who incorporates Coast Salish designs from the Native peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast. Long live Sasquatch!

Love the shoe, which is my first trailrunning shoe. I still need more cushioning for my knees, though, because they get fatigued after 5 miles or so of up and down running. I guess I will have to get a road shoe with extra cushioning to supplement this pair. Oh well, there are worse dilemmas, eh?

Very impressive and highly functional on the off-road trails.

This is my second Cascadia 16. I have a pair of the GTX which offers a little water proofing for damp weather. But over all the shoe is great on the trail running or walk/hiking, great stability, and decent traction. setting up for probably a 3rd color soon.

AMAZING comfort level. I have needy feet and these are perfect! I have a collapsed arch and flat feet. Brooks have my back when it comes to zero foot pain. Thank you! I'm female and I buy the mens footwear just for a tad more room in the toe area, for my own comfort preference.

I've been wearing Brooks Cascadia for over 15 years and would not wear any other running shoe. Perfect fit, comfortable, and rugged!! The perfect trail shoe for me!!

This is my second pair of Cascadias. They are comfortable while on trail runs or OCR races. Enough room in the toe box for my wide feet, but not too loose where my foot shifts.
