My Cascadia 16's have been extremely comfortable for all my summer hikes! I've done a number of 10+ mile hikes with 1,500 - 3,500+ feet of vertical through the mountains of Montana over the summer. I've always had sore feet in the past but haven't had any foot pain since getting these shoes! Equally as impressive - is their customer service! Some areas of the shoe wore out sooner than expected. I contacted customer service, and they responded with exemplary professionalism! I couldn't be happier with my switch to Brooks shoes and their Cascadia 16!

Photo shows condition after my first real workout in these awesome shoes. A tricky five miles on the PCT near Snoqualmie Pass. I found the shoes grippy and flexible, important for me because size. It's difficult to find a good shoe in 15. Support was more than adequate for the foot, less than you'd get from a boot, of course. And the colors are hilarious.

Men's Brooks trail runners fit my female foot perfectly. I spend time running on rocky terrain, so the agressive tread makes my footing surer.

He's running shoes really are an excellent choice for rocky terrain And any terrain that demands top-notch running shoes. I use these Cascadia's on mount Washingtons Jewel Trail To the summit with my hike for mental health group. This so continue to be my go to mountain hiking shoe.

Awesome! Golf shoe? Oh yes it is!!! While this shoe is intended for a different purpose, it's a great shoe for golf. I'm a wide foot EE and have had an awful time finding a golf shoe until I got this. Additionally, Love Brooks shoes, wear their Ghost EE wide running shoe for everything except Tennis. because no tennis shoe exists from Brooks. Oh if only Brooks had a tennis Shoe.

The trial period is excellent. I find this shoe to be very good for hiking. Fit is very good, especially for the toebox. Sole works well. I just wish that the rock plate was a bit more protective.

great for walking or running trails. Rock plate protects your foot from stumps, jaggd rocks etc. Fantastic fit, feel, grip, aggressive treads on outsole. The Brooks cushioning in midsole is fantastic. Great value at $130 Only negative is the that light color. gets dirty real easy.

I'm a 250lb guy that runs 20+ a week and I've been through several different rands of shoes looking for something that work for me without much luck until now. I think I've finally found my trail shoe.

After about 75 trail miles (longest run: 15 miles), I can say that I'm impressed with this new version of the Cascadia. I find the shoe more flexible, more comfortable - especially in the toe box. It feels lighter/quicker. And although my Cascadia 15s were over a year old with 260 miles, these new shoes feel more cushioned. They haven't lost their low-to-the-ground, sticky traction. I'm a huge fan so far. My only complaint (and it's my fault:) the Oyster Mushroom/Alloy/Orange color gets dirty quickly in the summer-dry dirt.

I am very impressed with the Cascadia 16 trail shoe. Comfort and support levels are optimal for me, and it will be my "go to" Brooks shoe. I rate it #1 out of the Brooks lineup and I have many years of experience with the spectrum of Brooks shoes.

I've only been wearing these a few hours but they are nice stiff soles, yet compliant and springy. I feel locked in when walking. Seems like a durable show and can't wait to get out and rough it up.
I'd also recommend:

As a trail runner needing width and arch support, I find good shoes few and far between. I am now on my fourth pair of these Brooks.

It's a great shoe . Support without too much cushion . Not wearing on a trail but in Central Park NYC .

Best version yet. Better outer toe protection where previous versions would tear. I run weekly in rocky, dirt terrain and this shoe holds up well. Lighter and more agile feel. This is my go-to shoe season after season. Great job. Looking forward to the next version.

This is THE BEST Cascadia you?ve made?ever. Always loved the shoe and you listened when we asked for a roomier toe-box. The previous versions were always off with a not so roomy toe-box. Brooks fixed this! This Cascadia is perfect imo. Thanks Brooks!!!

I actually bought these for hiking, and have found them to be fantastic thus far. They provide more cushion/support than the average trail running shoe, which is good for someone with old knees and back.
