I got a solid year of use with these. They’re great for open trails and during fair weather. I’m not a trail runner, so these were used for hikes around Southern California. It was a good balance of support, cushion and ground feel.

I am not a runner... BUT I do love to walk 18 holes of golf 3 times a week. After trying three different golf shoes I gave up! I now have two pair if Cascadia's one pair is waterproof and one is not. These are GREAT shoes for golf and hiking... you are really missing out by not marketing these shoes to golfers and hikers..

I really like these shoes. I have a very big foot and they fit true to size. They look great, feel great, I am very pleased. I wear them casually so I can’t say anything about running, but work great at the gym and just in life. Brooks are an underrated brand!

This ride seems gripper and lighter than before, but also sturdier. The colors are amazing too.

My new go to for everything. Perfect! Used to wear Ghosts and Adrenaline. Both were too narrow. Cascadia is my favorite new running partner. I hope Brooks doesnt chance the design. I have purchased 5 pairs. Its hard for me to find "the one". This is it.

I'm not a runner. I'm a 73 year old golfer who walks the golf course. I recently was plagued by swelling and inflamation in my right foot. It turned out to be worn out golf shoes. I walk the course which averages 6.5 miles/round in complete comfort and support in my Brooks Cascadia 16 shoes.

I was recommended these by a wonderful Brooks representative when I inquired about hard sole trail shoes that fit similar to my Adrenaline GTXs. I have ran through 2 pairs of Adrenaline GTXs and they have been phenomenal. I had been taking them off road with me running too but about a month ago I was running and felt something stuck under one of my shoes, stopping to look I found a 5 inch long piece of sharp driftwood very nearly piercing the entire sole of my shoe and into my foot. I run along a big river so not uncommon to find driftwood, but I decided it was time to change to something with a hard sole that could handle objects like that. The Cascadias came and I haven't looked back. The sole is responsive and tactile, the shoes fit great, I'm running faster trail times than I ever imagined I could because I'm less concerned with piercing obstacles, rocks, or other objects, and I'm having an overall more fun time running on tough trails. These shoes take anything I can throw at them and just keep going. Great trail shoes I'd recommend to anyone.

Great shoe as always, just disappointed that a person with a wide foot is so greatly restricted in the shoes I can get from your company. I would buy more if I was given a descent selection.

I've put 300 miles on the Cascadia 16, roads and trails. I hike. Doing 13mi at a time with occasional 30mi days. I'm a high arch heel striking pronator with plantar fasciatis, I wear Sole inserts for support. I feel no pain in these shoes and have done nearly all 300 WITHOUT the inserts. it's unbelievable. Rigid where it needs to be, cushion where it's needed. The lugs are super durable on asphalt, concrete, barely any wear (comp: have had many soft compound Vibram soles and they wear down after 100mi). The shoe is super light, wide toe box is awesome, highly recommend it.

This is my second pair of Brooks and this time I got the sizing right: as I needed to order up by half a size. Because the outer fabric is flexible & breathable these shoes are extremely comfortable and lightweight so wearing them all day long while walking, specifically the hilly cobblestone streets of Lisbon, on vacation a perfect fit! I selected this brand & style for the fabric, support, color & the reviews and am very pleased and comfortable with them.

Wide toe box, great traction on the trail. Some pinching around the toes due to material used. Once broke in they are very comfortable.

Been running in these for years. Hold up well, good trail feel, good grip. Love the wider toe box. Took hiatus with hoka, but they just didn't hold up like these on technical terrain. The GTX version is great in snow/wet.

This shoe will forever be my trail running shoe of choice. Every time I try a new brand I'm left disappointed and want my Cascadia GTX. This shoe holds up in the PNW like a dream either on rocks, mud, or gravel while being comfortable for 5 miles or 30 miles. My only complaint is for the first time my shoe laces will not stay tied. I needed to take out the laces on my latest pair and replace them with Nathan run laces so I don't have to stop all the time and re-tie.

This is my second pair of Brooks Cascadia 16s. They are great trail running shoes with a wide enough toe and great support for my feet. The laces need to be double tied, otherwise they loosen up.

Great shoe, right out of the box! I've been road running in the Adrenaline GTS for several years, but needed something more aggressive for trails. Typically I wear Altra Olympus for trails, but lost confidence following some of their recent "upgrades". The drop was similar enough to the Adrenaline so I had no issues with the swap. The weight was perfect and lighter than most over their competitors. I put 36 trainingmiles on them before I hit the trail for a 50K without issue. Highly recommend. While not a max cushion/support shoe, my old knees were unphased by these.
