Shoe for the right feet felt great but with the left foot there was always this feeling that you get when there is a fold in socks below your feet. I had this feeling around my heels which got worse over time. Maybe I got a defective unit.

The sole falls apart on the new version of this shoe. I have purchased the Kayano for years, but the 21 version is poorly constructed/manfactured. The sole falls in strips that are on the sole. It is not one molded piece but a series of alternating strips. One pair did so in four or five months and I didn't think much of it. A 2nd pair happened in just a few wearings. They r eally need to review their manufacturing process. I am trying one more time. If it happens again I will go to another shoe brand

Im disabled so I need shoes that don't hurt my feet. These had a weird feeling on the left sole. Like it was probably a defect but I never replaced it. I love asics so will go Nimbus. I tested them and that was what I should have gotten

After ten years, I’m sad to say I’m parting ways with my go-to Kayanos. Until the 28, they’ve been consistently comfortable and I’ve had no complaints. A week before an ultra, my new Kayano 28s gave me huge blisters in each of my inner heels about 5 miles into my run. I wear the Wide size and now can’t find a 27 in that size anywhere, and not sure what to do. Very disappointed.

I have been running in the Gel Kayano since the Gel Kayano 15. This shoe has been changed quite a bit. Looks like Asics is trying to copy the Brooks Glycerin with the guide rails they are using for stability. I am really disappointed with this shoe. I bought 2E and it's still narrow in the toe box and the instep doesn't seem high enough. I had problems with Morton's Neuroma and got rid of it by running in the past issues of the Kayanos. No foot problems Kayano 15 through 27. Kayano 28 the foot problem is back. Guess I will try the Saucony stability shoes. I've had success with the Hurricane and Omni in the past. In closing all I can say is put this shoe back the way it was.

The bottom of shoe started coming off after a couple times of wearing it. Terrible quality especially with the price.

Sneakers arrived with a dent in the right foot. Two of The little black things at the bottom of the soles fell off.

The shoes came used with a crinkle in the toe and dirty soles. Used a promo coupon from previous shoe mishap order through zappos so no longer have that. Not pleased with zappos but liked the shoe.

I've wore kayanos since 14s... the last two have been pretty terrible, something has changed with the design and or manufacturing... time to find a new favorite shoe for the OR... tragic and sad

I have had many Gel Kayano 4E shoes over the years. They always fit me perfectly. However the width of the 28 is different than all previous models {more narrow} and was not comfortable for me.

For two years in a row I bought the Gel-Kayano 27, which instantly cleared calluses and was easily the best shoe I ever wore. So earlier this year when I saw that they were out of stock of my size (and continue to be months later), I figured I would be safe to buy the Gel-Kayano 28 in the same size. What monumental difference could there be in a shoe by the exact same maker in the exact same size, in the same series of shoe? Apparently a big one, because after 10 minutes of wearing them I get a searing pain all down the left side of my left foot, and because I waited too long to try them out (my previous pair still had a little life left in them), I'm past warranty. And as the good pair continues to be out of stock, I guess I need to look elsewhere for shoes now.

I have bought quite a few pairs of Asics, but I noticed on the last three pairs that the front big toe material wears out quickly. I have holes in mine.

My husband has been a longtime ASICS wearer, but this pair was a huge disappointment. After only five months of casual wear, both soles are falling apart.

Shoe looks great but for me it felt as though the uppers are to small. They feel as if the heels don't come up high enough and that the uppers aren't high enough. I felt as if I would walk out of the shoe. Very disappointed in them. I returned them.

I did not have a good experience with Asics. That is why I did not respond. I have been committed to running in Asics for the last 20+ years but this was my last purchase.

My last two purchases were returned due to lack of fit, finish and comfort I've been a loyal customer (13 shoes) and hope my next shoe will be the quality I'm used to.

Sizing an issue and blisters to start with. Not sure as good as the 27s.

I'm a fan of the Kayano line. Picked up a pair while on holiday travel about 5 years ago and had finally found the perfect sneaker, however, it appears that the last three pair that both my wife and I tried on may have us in search of a different sneaker mfg. It can't be a coincidence that we both are finding the fit to be too snug, especially around the arch area. Plenty of reviews state similar issues. Maybe there was a change in factory or QC? We are now looking around for the older series. We'll try ASICS again when the Kayano 30 series. Hopefully they correct this issue.

Wish I could get a refund - been running in them for a month and they just feel off. Not much cushion, when that is what my legs need, I should have done more research. Going back to Hoka.

These shoes felt awesome out of the box. But as they have worn the heel support has let down and now the shoe is loose. Very disappointed in this pair of Asics. I have been brand loyal to Asics but now have placed an order for my first pair of Brooks. We'll see.

Unfortunately after just a month of light use. The grooves from the sole have started to come apart. I do not even use them for sports, just everyday regular use.
