28 Kayanos new cushioning infirior and causes injuries. Never had a pair of Kayanos so bad, my pair has cheap feeling foam and materials, sad comparison to previous years. The only posotive is they look good.

Much smaller toe box on the 28s than on the 27s! Pinched toes created sore toenail beds : ( Same size and width ordered as on previous model and they are too uncomfortable to keep. Sending back.

I submitted a refund request. And have heard nothing. The backnof one of the shoes collapsed and the padding moved to the base.

Overall amazing quality and great comfort. They keep changing the width on this shoe. The "standard" is extremely narrow. I have purchased the Kayano series for years and it's obviously the inaccurate measurements over the years. Buyer beware.

The gel heel provides zero support. It's like the heel was filled with water! Worst ever for so much money! Asics has really gone down the last couple of years. Bring back the NIMBUS 20!!!!!!

The color is completely different than what is shown in the pictures and no one from ASICS has an answer as to why.

I had an idea that these shoes would stand a chance of working but they really lacked the overall firm cushioning that I experienced about 15-18 years ago in a good, reasonably priced New Balance athletic shoe. I am 215 lbs, 5'11" tall with a strong bone structure and strong legs. Most athletic shoes if not each athletic shoe out there do not work with my feet. I do have a bunion on my left foot but that is not (EE width did work at one (1) time) the challenge with athletic shoes today. The shoes fit but lack the amount of firm cushioning in a neutral shoe is the challenge. A good number of us out here need better cushioning in an athletic shoe and a trail shoe for most purposes. I really hope that these comments register with someone in the shoe industry and possibly Zappos. Each of us are not 185 lbs. or less or experienced runners. Possibly would be additional business for a manufacture and the stores. I had an LLC business for a number of years as a manufacture's representative. - Tom
I'd also recommend:
not sure, possibly a light LL Bean trail shoe built up for more firm/appropriate cushioning.

I bought the extra wide and they feel to narrow. For some reason the got rid of the plastic plate on the heel. I returned them. Don't waste your money.
