Have had two pairs of 28s prior to this pair and they were great shoes. Great stability and enjoyed the bouncy and soft
Cushion they provided. For some reason this particular pair had zero bounce or softness and actually caused me to develop knee pain. I contacted customer service to see if i could get a replacement and did nothing more than read to me the return policy and could have cared less if i was satisfied with my purchase. Asics is a multi-million dollar global company and could try to make things right with me. I ran in the shoes maybe 5-6 times so i wasn't trying to take advantage of anyone- my shoes were truly uncomfortable. I am not happy and will go back to Saucony.

Disappointed..Used to the 26 version, and should have stuck with it. The 28 does not provide the stability for heavy pronators like me.

Unfortunately the shoes did not fit well and I have had to see a physician and they suggested another shoe. I was disappointed as I have worn Asics all of my running career. So my practically new Asics are no longer being used and sitting in my shoe pile. I had to move to Hoka's per suggestion of my physician.

I have been running in Gel-Kayanos for probably 10+ years, based on the recommendation of my physical therapist. I wear a size 10 4E, which has fit perfectly up until now - but the most recent versions are substantially narrower, and come nowhere close to fitting my wide feet.

After decades of high standards and steady improvements in shock absorption and stability, this 28th edition of the Mens Kayano had a soft heel cup, less structure to the outsole heel/arch bridge, and shorter wall of reinforcement around the heel.
It looked and felt more in line with a 1000 series model.
Now I have to find another straight last high performance shoe to rely on.
I am very disappointed.

I have been buying only Gel-Kayano's for the past 8 years or so, and they have been amazing (which is why I keep coming back to them) Unfortunately with this version, number 28, there is something in the heal design that is blistering and tearing up my feet??? I thought it had to be something else at first because I've never had an issue with Gel-Kayano's, but it is the shoe heal design. I can't even wear them to a store without pain.

For the first time in 10 years of running on Asics Kayanos I am having foot problems with this pair of shoes. Either the foot bed has changed or the pair shipped to me has a defect.

I've been using versions of the Gel-Kayano for several years now and this redesign is a serious departure from the prior versions of the shoe. It used to fit my feet really well, now it feels like the insole is too narrow for the shoe. Very disappointing

Have had Ascis for as long as I can remember and use a EU 45. However they are totally useless now as an EU 45 no longer exists. I recently purchased a ASICS GEL-Kayano® 28 sizes 11, 11.5 and 12. They were the same size or smaller than the previous size 10.5 that I had. I then ordered a size 13 because the 12 was a little to tight but the size 13 was a bit too big so I ordered a size 12.5. The 12.5 is substantially larger than the size 13!!!! Even though the size 13 are a little big, have to keep them as I cannot find any that are EU 45 or that fit.

Pretty sure they reduced the amount of rubber on the bottom of the shoes so they are wearing increasingly fast. They keep making these shoes more and more cheap at a high price point

I purchased two pair of these shoes. One pair fit perfectly like so many ASIC sneakers i have owned over the years. The second pair caused significant irritation on my heal near the inner sole. I am not able to use the second pair. I submitted a warranty form, and since there is no VISIBLE defect, ASICS will not correct the issue. Instead they sent me an extensive email on how to properly tie my shoes. NOT WORTH THE CHANCE.

Not as comfortable as the previous ones. I have used Gel- Kayano's for running for the past 30 years, unfortunately the 28 model is not comfortable.

Lousy fit 10.5 was too large and 10 was too tight. All my other Asics court and running shoes are size 10.5 and fit perfectly.

Support doesn't seem to be as good as prior models. Had to retire these shoes early because right foot always cramps even after trying different lacing styles and tightness

I have worn Kayanos for over 20 years. These are too short, too narrow for a 4W, and toe box is too narrow and not high enough I even tried 1/2 size up and still not right

Garbage shoe that lasted 25 miles. Tread is already worn to bottom of shoe. ASICS warranty says that's normal. Won't buy this shoe or any ASICS shoe again. Back to Brooks.

Size 11, felt like a 10.5, width was not a 4E. I use othotics so I don't know about arch support. ASICS recommended by podiatrist. Ill go back to Brooks!

These shoes were a replacement of a pair I had worn out. They fit great initial comfort was fine. I’m putting them on the back heel collapsed On day two of wearing them. The collapse of so bad it would not reach shape not reform. In recent years I’ve never had a shoes heel. I’ve been wearing ASICS for years and never had an issue. I attempted to contact a six. I got an email stating they were too busy to get back to me. And that was two months ago. So I have a brand new pair of shoes that is unwearable on the right foot no matter when I tried to do I cannot get that cushioning to stay up to even be comfortable wearing the shoe. So not only am I disappointed with the quality. I’m also disappointed with Asics themselvesWe’re not even having the decency of contacting me and telling me that it was my fault or some other issue but they just told me they were too busy.
