Shoe runs narrow, otherwise seems constructed well. Sole seems a little thicker/taller than previous model

Wanted to return them after a couple of runs. They felt way different compared to the 27's but finally felt good after about a month. Roughly 100 miles

Bought this shoe to rotate with two other stability shoes. Found the forefoot to be overly soft. While running, I did not feel these shoes supported my flat arches as well as my other two shoes.

They seem narrower than the previous 26's and also slightly shorter. Not sure I am going to be able to wear them long term.

not as comfortable as I would have thought compared to some less expensive shoes.

Only reason I ordered these was bc the Quantum 360 are too narrow for my feet and the 360's don't come in a wide size.

The upper fabric breaks when you bend at the forefoot, rubbing my big toes. A pretty significant downgrade from the kayano of just a few years ago.

Love the shoe, hate the fit. The pair I was sent were at least two sizes too small. Returned them and hoping it was just that pair. Normally the Kayanos are great.

Ordered the 4E - not as wide as other brands. Still breaking in, so that may change, but other brands have wider toe box from the start.

The roll of roam around the heel is flimsy and will shift from the achilles area to the botttom of the heel without using a shoe horn to put the shoes on. It already has started shifting after a couple uses.

The shoe felt good all around since I got it, and I've been using it for work. The only reason I'm marking it three stars is because it only took the pain away from my feet for the first week, and part of the soul is already tearing away after 3 weeks

I love Asics but hate that they offer so little in a 4E shoe. I'm left choosing from either the worst color combinations known to man, or plain black. I went with black. Very comfortable but very plain looking.

While these are the best shoes for my workouts, something HAS to be done about the toes. I continually pop through the top well before their lifetime is out. A few of the models have had re-enforced tops or extra fabric. Early ones or the most recent - not so much.

Bad costumer support. Bad website. Would not recommend.

Good cushion. Too narrow. Shoes seem much more narrow than previous years.

They've changed the Gel-Kayanos. This 28 series is trash compared to older models. Sending back.

I hate the new Asics Gel-Kayano design. It was better with the previous 26, 27, 28 models with a stiffer midsole/arch. I wear these for work, but they don't compare to the previous models.

The same sizes fit appropriately, but the outside of the shoe is one inch longer than previous models of Gel-Kayano. The old exterior length was much more desirable. The new longer length just causes tripping. Hope Asis goes back to Gel-Kayano 27, 26 design.

The 28 series are not the same. I believe I received a defective pair but with no visible issues. Left shoe would roll to the side. I called Customer Support and received a tabloid answer-send us pictures of the defect. I did not expect such a poor interaction. No one wanted even to discuss the issue with me. I have been customer for life but because of this experience, my purchasing choices are changing. ASICS might have made money on this pair but will loose in a long run. Disappointing!
