These boots are NOT the same quality as the last pair I got from you..You have made them cheaper they don't feel good and they don't fit as well. What a shame..

I use these shoes for work in my mowing business. These are the 3rd pair of Hoka hikers that I've had. Unfortunately, this particular model is the worst pair of the 3. They're not as comfortable and something on the inside of the 3rd lace hook rubs both feet.

I love the comfort and support these provide! However I've found they are not the best shoe for the type of work I do as a delivery driver. The soles are already showing wear and the foam cushioning above the sole gets torn up easily. I unfortunately won't be buying again.

There are two issues I have with these shoes. The instep is not very forgiving for those of us that have high insteps. A little snug and the webbing behind the laces keep constant light pressure there. The second, is the shoe lace hooks are difficult to get the laces into. You have to hold them just so with the off hand in order to get the laces to seat in them. I've considered getting out the dremel and grinding some of the inside away.. With them being plastic.... I would likely end up with something worse than what they are now. The soles of the shoes are comfortable and fit nicely. The other two issues will keep me from purchasing these expensive shoes again.

Like all Hoka shoes, these are comfy and light. I use them for walking on the job, not for hiking. I need the waterproof aspects. I wish Hoka would make a proper work boot. These are a little weird because they make a popping noise when I walk. I figured it would go away with break in but that doesn't seem to be the case. I think it's the goretex membrane in the shoe. It comes from the front of the shoe above the toes. Kind of annoying. Also I needed to size down in these compared to my other Hoka shoes. Even with that, these things look really long on my feet. People comment on it. Good shoe though. Not sure if I'd buy it again.

I liked the appearance and quality of the shoe, but it was not a good fit for me as a casual walker.

I liked the boot it felt good but was very narrow so had to return them. I hope Hoka comes out with a wide in this boot and I would gladly reorder them.

These shoes felt great in the hand and seem really well built. However, the 12.5 my typical Hoka size did not fit me, I was able to ship them back for free to Hoka and get the 12s which were too small. I feel like maybe this shoe is built for a wider foot. I shipped the 12s back for free....sorry Hoka and got the shoes I love, the Speedgoat Mid 2 GTX in 12.5. They fit perfect right away. I have a pair of these I have jogged over 100 days in at the beach and they are still water proof. Amazing they tolerate the salt water without breaking down or losing waterproofing.

I wore these on a hike in the Big Bend Area of Texas and good gosh almighty where my feet hot and I mean HOT! not a great shoe for the summer days, or warm environments. I'm guessing the GORE Tex is what does it.

The sizing is around 1/2 size or so too big. I used the fit finder (which said 10D) and am a size 10D in almost every other shoe brand but the size 10's arrived and were too long with the arch support too far forward. Hoka needs to adjust their sizing app to ensure these online purchased shoes will fit properly and avoid the headaches of returns and exchanges.

Great cushioning on the Anacapa, but the upper was too thin for me... I missed the solid construction of the Hoka Tor Ultra. Hoka please bring back the Tor Ultra High!!

So I was really excited about HOKA hikers because I love my HOKA sneakers. One shoe was super comfy immediately and the other rubbed my ankles in an uncomfortable way, so I returned them.

I have been wearing these for the last 2 weeks at work (office). I have never needed wide shoes, but these felt very narrow at first. They broke in fairly well after a few days, but still feel narrow; especially with any sort of cushioned socks.
The first lace loop after the locking loops also tends to put pressure on the bony protuberance on the inside of each ankle. I have tried to position the tongue to pad that spot to no avail. But, I have since found that positioning the tongue where there is a void, instead of padding, tends to work better.
The toe box is adequate despite the overall narrowness of the shoe. I would prefer it to be slightly wider, but the materials around the toe box are not very breathable. I compare this to a cheaper competitor's boot that is also waterproof. I notice quite a bit of moisture around the toes going into the last half of the day.
The boots need to be utilized as designed. I'm in a job where we wear "tactical" or hiking boots each day. The soles are very comfortable when walking. They are not designed to be a boot for long periods of standing. It seems clear from the sole geometry that it was, rightfully, designed for walking. So, there is slightly less padding around the sole area in order to facilitate the classic geometry that you get with Hoka boots/shoes.
I purchased these boots sight unseen based upon having a pair of their running shoes. I am still trying to decide whether I'll keep them or not. And the only reason I'm still on the fence is because they're slightly narrow around the arch (for me). If that wasn't a factor, I wouldn't be questioning whether I keep them or not.

If you have the Tor and Kaha boots and like the way they feel/width, these hikers are not the boots that will feel as comfortable as those.
I do not have wide feet, kinda in between, and these feel narrow around the arches. I don't know why they built is like this but even with thin socks, they just feel narrow.
Just my opinion.

Very lightweight. Minimal arch support, I could feel my foot pronating when I walked. The edge of the tongue pressed into my ankle and was very uncomfortable despite trying to readjust multiple times.

Had theses shoes less than 2 weeks and the tread starting ripping from the sole. Huge disappointment. I have several Hoka running and trail shoes with no issues.

This is my 7th pair of Hokas, and by far the least comfortable pair. Where's the sole padding that made previous Hokas so comfortable?
Disappointed,

I am a huge fan on Hoka and finally convinced my hubby who has had an extensive back surgery to get a pair for work. The size he needed was available but not in wide. Shoes arrived they fit but were too tight. We were very disappointed to say the least. He was super bummed because he loved they way his foot fit the foot bed.

I have a fairly new pair of Speedgoat Mid. boots that are terrific for my work as a delivery driver. The Speedgoats support my ankles and are really comfortable & cool. I walk 6 to 8 miles a day while working. I wanted a backup pair, but it seems that Hoka may have sadly, discontinued the Speedgoat mids. So I ordered a pair of Anacapa mid. They are supportive & comfortable, but hot! My feet were sweating on a cool January day, after wearing them for only 2 hours. So I returned them.
