I thought I ordered a lightweight hiking shoe. This shoe which appeared to be a high-end quality shoe but was not a lightweight shoe. It appeared to be a shoe for serious hikers which I'm not.

First time out after rained and tons of debris picked up by treads came into the boot. Stopped 2-3 times to empty boots out. Definitely needs a low gaiter to prevent this. Very comfortable and will keep wearing them.

Awesome show is great to work in but the waterproof part is JB ot so much. First I wore them in wet weather they were great and the next time it was like I was wearing rubber boots full of water.

These boots are not bad but I had high hopes for them since I have 5 pair of the shoes and love them all. I do a lot of hunting and unfortunately the comfort level is just average compared to other hiking or hunting boots.

The hiking boots, the slides, and the running sneakers are all beyond believable comfort, and foot support. The only problem i had was one pair of hiking boots looked as though someone returned them after wearing them. They were messed up, but it was obvious they were at least tried on, restrung, and worn maybe for a day or less.

I bought this boot for my size 11 foot and it was 13 inches from toe to heel. I see this as a tripping hazard. I also felt the boot should have been a pinch wider to accommodate two pairs of socks.

Good things include fit and comfort but on the trail or hiking the upper material snags and will not hold up over time in my opinion. I would have to ask what application someone is planning to use for before recommending. If just desert sand or cleared property it would be fine, but in any area with cactus, mesquite or thorn-bushes, it won't work.

I thought the boots would be alot more comfy as far as the cushion goes. I use them for work and after a few weeks i am starting to feel discomfort. Also they are really big.

I love that they are comfortable and supportive. I don't like that after 2 months a lace has already broken and I've had to super glue some of the tread back down. The tread is also worn flat is some areas already.

First time ever with HOKA. Always been a Vasque boot guy. I'm 6'3", 210 lbs, 60, and better than average fitness. My impression or comments on the boot are as follows: - For some reason, probably because the tongue isn't sufficiently padded, the plastic eyelet on the left boot digs into the front part of my ankle. This forces me to lace that boot loosely at the foot to leg eyelet. - I bought these boots for a couple of reasons: Yeah they are light. Sole, especially at the heel, is thick, which helps with my hiking weight being somewhere around 245/250 all in. Haven't specifically tested the GoreTex yet but reviews say it works. Heat management has been good; feet don't get to hot. - That being said, I can say that chances are I'm going back to a boot like a Vasque, Merrill, Salomon, or Lowa that laces further toward the toe. I've read in previous reviews how you can't get the front of the boot snug enough and I will heartly agree. Going downhill, especially with weight, this boot allows to much movement. The laces just aren't there to get the fit you need. - Because of the above reasons, I give 3 (maybe 3.5) stars Too many better boot choices out there at this price point. - Try them before buying, try to find a place (ramp) in the store to walk downhill. You'll see what I mean.

Great comfort when doing some short runs in the woods and great for medium hikes without a load. But the durability of the shoes is terrible. I think a full leather upper would be better.

I'm in the heating and air conditioning trade. I have 1 pair of hokas that I wear to some job sites was looking for something more like a work boot to be able to wear on job sites that require boots. These would be great if they were leather, but the canvas material just looks cheap and not acceptable on job sites. I wish they were leather and they would be perfect. Hope they will make a leather pair in the future.

I love Hoka and planning on keep purchasing them, but this model wasn't as comfortable and bouncy as the others I have . They feel off and not great, sorry to say but not a great shoe for me.

I love these boots for the fit and comfort. I wear them regularly for walking the dog and intermittently for bigger hikes. Super comfortable and light. I just wish the rubber treads didn't wear out so fast.

I used this product for my Job which consist of a lot of walking ... shoes were great for the first two months then they wore out real fast at 3-months .... the bottom of the shoe is soft material and it eats up too fast ....Cost a lot of money to be buying a pair every three months ....

The shoe itself looked great. I bought these because I hike 5 days a. I use size 12 in the Stinson, Gaviotas and Kaha, but the Anacapa was too wide for my foot. I will have to try the Kahas in a high top.

I had a pair of Keen's. I'm happy with my Hoka OneOne running shoes. The Hoka hiking boots are the same size as my Hoka OneOne's. The OneOne's fit great. The hiking shoes don't. Separtaely, the heel is a little big. As I walk down stairs, I'm clipping the steps. Same type of thing happens when I'm hiking.

Comfortable shoe. Feels great. Too bad couldn't find it in wide width. I ended ordering a half size larger. Sole is separating from shoe on one of them, that is my only concern. They feel great on the trails.
