Good fit and cushioning. Still in 30 day test period but so far so good. Seems to have really good support and feel good on hikes and walks thus far. Will test on more hikes and anticipate no problems.

They are very good support for me and the cushion insoles are soft.

Pieces of rubber coming apart and large tear on top of toe. These shoes are not well made.

I was so excited to find you had more stability hikers. But women's way way too narrow. So I returned and got the men's. But STILL too narrow.

Hiking boots look nice. Unfortunately, they are too narrow for my feet. I wear size 10 wide shoes (running/hiking) so i used Hoka's fit guide and was recommended to get a half size up but that didn't work out. Painful to wear. I hope Hoka will come out with wide option for their hiking shoes.

I volunteer in a rescue squad. I wore these boots on a call about a week after I received them. It was raining and I was walking along the side of a highway, in the grass for about 10 minutes. My feet did get slightly wet during that time. I had expected the water resistance to be better in these shoes. In general, they are relatively comfortable and will hopefully work for me in general.

I was hoping for a more sturdy footbed. That being said I have not yet had an opportunity to use them on a trail hike as yet. The buckles are difficult to get the laces locked into on the bottom set. Fit is okay wish they were offered in a wide.

I walk a lot at work. The shoes are very comfortable. The support is nice. After 2 months of wearing them they now act like a sponge. Any moisture or water on the exterior they are damp or wet until left out to dry. It is the 1st time I've worn Hoka. I'm willing to try another pair. Just disappointed that their lifespan is so short.

ITS NOT NEAR AS COMFORTABLE OR PLUSH AS HOKA 8 BONDI
I HAVE ONLY WORN FOR TWO OR THREE HOURS.
I MAY BUY AN INSERT TO IMPROVE CUSHION.

3-1/2 weeks of use as daily shoe:
The boot is very comfortable. Just like Hoka shoes.
The issues:
- the sole is fragile. The Vibram logo is already peeling and one of the knobs on the sole is already 80% ripped.
- the lace eyelets are not smooth to lace. You have to make sure the lace makes in it by pushing it against the shoe as you lace it.

At first I loved the fit for my long work days but soon after my first few wears they started squeaking.
I'm afraid I have to return them and will try again.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn in my life. My feet knees and back all feel the difference in them. With that being said, they aren't made to last. I'm a Land surveyor and do alot of walking on all different kinds of terrain. The tread on the bottoms have fallen off and most of the recycled parts are falling apart in only 6 months. At 185$ the price is to steep for me to buy them again. Hopefully I can find that comfortable feel with some more durability!

I'm a big fan of my Hoka shoes for walking and normal motion, so I thought I'd give these a try for hiking. I do wilderness search & rescue and often carry a pack in excess of 50 pounds, so the additional surface area and cushioning was also appealing. Overall, I really enjoyed them for the first few uses. I eventually found the need for inserts to give some more support, but even with those, I find my feet over-pronating since the sole is a little too cushiony. One other big drawback I've noticed is that although the waterproofing on the exterior is great, they have absolutely zero traction when they get even slightly wet (I still have the hip injury to prove it). Last, overall, I'm very disappointed in the durability. I've only had these for about 4 months and they are absolutely shredded and need replaced. As much as I enjoyed them for the first couple uses, I think for the price point, I'm going to look at something else.

I ordered these boots and wore them for about maybe 3 months. The outer sole began to come apart and unglued. For the money I'd expect them to last longer.

I have had a pair of Hoka hikers (M TOR mid Summits) for many years. With the exception of my Hoka running shoes, they are the most comfortable things I can put on my feet.
Well, after many years of hard use, I finally had to retire them. I of course ordered a new pair of Hokas to replace them Kaha GTXs. First thing I noticed when I received them is that they weren't nearly as comfortable as my old boots, and they also had a significantly different fit much taller foot box, leaving more room above my instep at the expense of that great 'cradling' feeling of my old boots. Well, I figured I'd wear them for a while and they'd eventually come around.
After a couple of months, I finally decided that I really missed the comfort of my old boots and so decided to buy a different model that might be more like them. So I called Hoka's customer service line to ask for a recommendation based on the model of my original boots. The very delightful rep recommended that the Anacapa mid GTX would probably be the closest thing in the current line, so I ordered a pair.
Unfortunately, same result. While they're decent boots, the fit and feel is very much like the Anacapas and still nothing like my good old pair. Fortunately, this time the CS rep told me about the 30-day guarantee, so back they went.

I had recently purchased a pair of shoes that I love; however, when I tried to find them to purchase a second pair, I couldn't find them--though it was only a few weeks ago. I purchased these because I thought that they were similar. They are not--not at all. The laces and lacing mechanism are not nearly as good; thus, they feel like they are coming untied when walking at a good pace. I do wish that I could find another pair of the ones that I had previously purchased.

Very comfortable right out the box but by the looks of them I thought they would be more comfortable and you have to go a half size up. but they are OK. I will have to buy Salomon again though because they were just the most comfortable shoe I have ever been in.

I absolutely love all things hoka, I am going to buy the challenger 7 here soon. I know the anacapa mid are a trail/running shoe but I wish it was a little more protective. The shoe feels light and flimsy. My toes don't feel protected too much, but again it is a trail running/hiking shoe. I was just expecting something more heavy duty

Love these shoes, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life. I deliver for a living and it's only been a month and the bottom of the show Sole is already peeling back rubber. I think these are to expensive to be failing in a month

Love the shoe but I need it in the wide, preferably 4E. Too narrow for my foot.
