The glue between the soles and shores started to come apart and the lace buckle on both shoes broke. Such a shame.

I'm either incredibly strong or the hooks for the shoe laces are poorly done. Not the worst boot I've worn. But at the price I really expected better.

this shoe did not last 2 months, then i was told that i should not wear their shoes daily for hiking even tho they say hiking and actually have a picture of someone standing in a creek. they delaminated as did the Toa boot with daily use in the rocky mountains. the Toa lasted a couple more but fell apart as well! then i was told by a customer service supervisor(as the actual reps were inept at best) that i 'should purchase a couple or few pair to make sure that they lasted a whole year' ????? wow how 'sustainable' can they get. plus these are NOT the same size as other hoka shoes and was told again that in order to deal with that 'most hoka customers , in the know, order a couple pair and return the ones that don't fit. or just use the 30 day exchange thing'.. seriously! so how sustainable or 'green' is that? i will let you all dive down that rabbit hole, from shipping/transportation cost, to mfg cost, to the customers time and not to mention the financial institutions chargeback and return fees let alone the fact i actually need the pair of shoes i paid almost $200 for to actually wear and not have to return or warranty or sit on the phone and deal with for over an hour as hoka refuses to use or acknowledge EMAILS! So, maybe a line saying they won't fit like you are used to or 'not for daily use', instead of claiming how super cool your recycled products are.( which is where they fell apart BTW) would save everyone some time, energy and money. again, not to mention the planet. it seems hoka is just another hash tag sham with the bottom line being the only thing thats 'sustainable' in the whole deckers line, and hiding it under a bunch of woke virtue signaling. they will not see another hard earned penny from me, and you should take this into account before you spend any of your money either.
