Ordered shoes and they arrived but did not fit so wanted to exchange. The website kept failing to process exchange so I had to connect with live person via chat. That worked but they didn't have my new size for the same shoe so had to upgrade to Clifton 9s and I was okay with paying the difference but the credit card did not work even though I paid for it once before and the whole thing was canceled and my gift was massively delayed. Entire process is just disorganized - pray you buy the right color and size the first time because it'll be a nightmare.

I bought a pair for my husband since I had a pair and really liked them. At first glance I notice the markings were not the same as mine. He wore them to Disneyland and his feet got very sore and the bottoms were rubbing his toes raw. Had to go buy a new insert so he could continue the vacation. I also bought a pair for my daughter in law for Christmas. Hoping she can wear them.

It pains me to write this review as Hoka makes an amazing shoe and over the past several years I have been very appreciative of their diligence and kindness in assisting me in selecting the sneaker that best fits my needs and goals. However, over the past 6 weeks, I have aced 2 orders -one order which consisted of 4 pairs of sneakers, 2 of each kind, and a second order which consisted of 3 total pairs. 5 of the 7 pairs of the shoes that were sent to me where either the wrong size orr wrong sneaker. When I contacted customer service to inform them of their error, the Hoka employees I spoke to rude, curt, abrupt and unprofessional , delete admitted the mistake was on their end. However, the customer service reps informed me that company policy dictated that neither refund or exchange could be made. I am very disappointed in the way the company is handling the situation and as such, I have begun researching a similar shoe that will be made or has been made by different company. Shame on you. Hoka.

I bought these shoes for work. I'm an RN and on my feet a lot all day. I actually really like the shoes and they're comfortable. The exception is the right shoe has an annoying squeak that I can't get rid of. It actually is fine in the morning but gets worse as the day goes along. It's only the right shoe. It literally gets so bad that it sounds like a duck quacking with every step of my right foot in the afternoon. Cleaning the bottoms doesn't make a difference, neither does the surface I'm walking on. Any hard surface and it's squeaking loudly. I am going to contact customer service as there must be a manufacturing problem with this shoe.

Upon wearing these Clifton 8s the first time after about an hour I had horrible arch pain in both feet and it triggered a spot in my back and I had pain for 4 days. After doing some research online about said shoe it was a known problem with the Clifton 8s, so I returned them. I've heard good things about their other shoes so I plan to try a different kind.

Stay away. 3 pairs! 1 sent back and refund pair did same thing. All the same issue. Ankle/heel inside interior tears.. revealing mean plastic that cuts into skin making shoes unwearable. Company doesn't stand behind the shoes. No thanks.

I just purchased a new pair of Clifton 8s and very dissatisfied to see the coloring on the side of the shoe already wear off after a few times of use. I recently wrote a review after an email from Hoka prompted me to, however didn't receive a response from customer service, hence writing another. These shoes are expensive and as such would expect the highest quality materials. Comfort is great, but they already look like they're been worn for months.

Shoe is very comfortable but is not made to last. It is used for normal everyday activity. Not running or walking great distances. Rubber is pulling off the shoe bottom and sides of the sole are fraying.

These are not cheap running shoes - after only a few times wearing, the coloring on the side of the shoe is already fading. All I have done is where them for walking, nothing intense. Disappointed with the quality of these.

Was not impressed. not as cushy as I thought. Feels too tight side of feet. very narrow. had to loosen laces all the way. I usually buy a size 12 to be a half size bigger than my normal size. This felt like one size smaller.

I was really looking forward to the shoes I ordered the widest that you have and they're still too narrow

so uncomfortable. my arch was killing me after 30 minutes. i would be really carful about getting these sneakers. not for everyone.

The midsole tongue near the arch kinda digs into the bottom of the foot. I didn't even attempt to run in them as this was noticeably uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a defect but I was highly disappointed. I still have a pair of Clifton 6 and 7s, no issues with those. On a side note, don't order from Hoka direct. They charge shipping and if you return the shoes (as I did) they don't refund the shipping. Use an online retailer or instore instead. One and done for me.

I ordered this shoe in my usual size and it didn't fit. The toe area was very tight and uncomfortable. I returned them. Not sure what the problem was but when I tried them on at the store they fit... just didn't like the color so I ordered them online.

I liked the color of it but that is as far as it goes.

hurts balls of my feet

after having these shoes the eyelet for the shoelaces are ripping out. Feels like a rip off to me and now I have to spend my time trying to figure out how to fix this situation. I have another pair in a different color bought at the same time which seem to be holding up better. they are comfortable. I'm upset and unsatisfied with the workmanship and quality control. It's the first two pair of Hoka brand shoes I've owned and i'm less than 50% satisfied.

Shoe looked nice but did not fit

same as above. ordered a 12...I usually wear a 11.5 and it was still small and narrow.

I already have two pairs of Gaviota 4, and love them, thought I would try something different. The heel drop in the back did not work for me.

I purchased Clifton 8 and as the size guide told me, I bought size 10US but when I put on the shoes they were quite small. Due to this I did not feel comfortable during my training and the recent 21.1km. I have a lot of pain in my toes and feet due to the size. If anyone consider to order online, order at least one size bigger than the size guide.
