The shoes are wonderfully lightweight and I used them for 3-4 weeks for walks but have now stopped. The first time I went for a walk longer than 30 mins I got blisters on my toes on both feet.

Seriously, why? Why can't other brands design a cool looking running shoe? Does Nike own all the designers?

I really wanted to try Hokas as a I've heard a lot of good things about them from the running community. Unfortunately this pair did not live up to the hype. They felt comfortable and cushiony, but after just a few miles, I could feel the seam in the footbed rubbing on my foot. I very rarely get blisters from shoes, but I could tell that after about six miles I would definitely get a blister from this pair. I bought these to train for ultras, but I'll be returning them. Hopefully it was just a fluke pair and not a representative for all Hokas.

Great idea but caused severe pain in the arch of my foot. I have a under probation which really made this shoe attractive. But after 8 hours on the floor in a hospital, it became very uncomfortable.

I have purchased at least 20 pairs of HOKAS and I love them
It's the only thing I wear! But for the first time, I am very disappointed with the recent purchase. The Clifton 8s I received are too wide. They are the wide one but these feel wider than the Clifton 8's. Very unhappy with them and I want to return them and get something else.

Bought this shoes because I work 12hrs shift on my feet, and this were recommended to me, I was so excited to try them. First impression: soft and comfortable when I tried this for the first time, walking/test fitting with this shoes. After couple of weeks, creases started to develop on the soles loosing significant cushion (granted I'm a little bit heavy) and My feet feels no longer secured, I can wiggle them from side to side, they feel to wide now. Very disappointed.

I have other Hoka's I love. I bought the Clifton 8's with the same expectation's. From the beginning I felt my feet were falling off the edge of the sole in the shoe. I don't have wide feet so I'm not sure why this was. I also felt the soles did not have enough support. When I would run they felt too spongy. I did not like the feel. I bought another model and am completely happy.

While the sole and foot bed is largely the same, the upper of the latest version is a big change from previous Speedgoat versions. The tongue is now not padded and the shoe does not lace the same. Bottom line is the upper does not fit the same. I returned the shoes. Hope they come back with the older versions or modify to align with how the shoe used to fit. After hiking most of the Appalachian Trail in Speedgoats I cannot wear these shoes anymore. If it isn't broken, don't fix it!

I wear about a 9.5 in other brands but heard Hoka ran fairly small so the employee had me try an 8.5 it felt fairly snug around the heel and towards my heel. The cushion felt very responsive when doing my run around the store so I decided to buy them. Unfortunately after any distance over about a mile or mile and a half my feet would blister up so bad by the end of a 6 mile run I could no longer feel my feet mostly around the toe area. I believe this blistering on the toe part of my foot is due to a very wide toe box as most collegiate long distance runners I'm very lean so my feet are narrow. When my friend who is built very similarly to me tried them on when i went to return them he went 1.5 sizes down from his normal size and said the same thing. The size was right but the front of his feet moved immensely.

Feels like no support in the toes. Pluse, material above the toes is thin and your toes will eventually stick up through this material

I have never hated a shoe more than this one. The foot pain is off the charts. I can wear for maybe 10 minutes and they have to come off and my foot will hurt for days afterwards.

Something in the shoe cuts into the sole of each foot at the arch. Painful enough that I can not wear them. I've never encountered this before with any running shoe, including other Hoka models.

This is way overdue. (Hoka website didn't have this or any other customer support)
I was excited to try this and run for a few days. Then my heel got pain and thought it's because of the running. Eventually lead to plantar fasciitis. And lasted for over a year. Very regret buying this shoe and didn't even thought it was a shoe problem. It's about 2-3 years ago and back then, Hoka website doesn't have anything to write feedback about it. Not mentioned about the call. Now stuck with this expensive shoe. and went over 1 year warrenty period. SUCK!!!

I bought these for a trip to Japan, as there is going to be much walking. After my first day of trying them on, my plantar fasciitis flared up. I have much cheaper shows that don't do this, and it should be noted I did physical therapy to alleviate it a year ago and haven't had pain like this in a long while. Not much arch support and very narrow. The color is even louder in person, too. Returned the next day. Very disappointed because they've become all the rage.

Why is arch area construction so narrow? The actual construction/sole of the shoe, literally, jams into my arch. Tried removing the insole..nope. It's the actual construction of the shoe.
I had such high hopes.

Ordered shoes and they arrived but did not fit so wanted to exchange. The website kept failing to process exchange so I had to connect with live person via chat. That worked but they didn't have my new size for the same shoe so had to upgrade to Clifton 9s and I was okay with paying the difference but the credit card did not work even though I paid for it once before and the whole thing was canceled and my gift was massively delayed. Entire process is just disorganized - pray you buy the right color and size the first time because it'll be a nightmare.

I bought a pair for my husband since I had a pair and really liked them. At first glance I notice the markings were not the same as mine. He wore them to Disneyland and his feet got very sore and the bottoms were rubbing his toes raw. Had to go buy a new insert so he could continue the vacation. I also bought a pair for my daughter in law for Christmas. Hoping she can wear them.
