Think I'm gonna trade them in for a Wide. My fav's were Clifton 1 and Bondi 6. Unfortunately they have to mess around and change what ain't broke.

Biondi HOKA shoes a far superior shoe, more comfortable and better construction quality. Although Clifton's are lighter it's due to less material and sole cushion and comfort

Very sad. After only a week of wearing these, part of the exterior fabric snagged on something and tore a hole in my new shoes. Great soles on these, but the exterior is very susceptible to tearing, ripping etc. It just isn't very strong. :/

Fit and size are great. However, for some reason the cushioning was no not nearly as good as my previous Clifton’s. Not sure why. Unfortunately I will be returning them.

Although its really comfortable and usable, it came with some damage/marks that didn't let me enjoy a 100% the experience.

Within one run of 5-6 miles, the inside of the tongue is already ripping severely. This usually happens towards the end of the shoe's life...This is unacceptable from a brand like Hoka. What is more disappointing is the fact that their return process takes 2+ weeks and they will NOT honor the 2-day shipping I paid extra for to receive the pair. The only reason I gave this shoe 2 stars is because it is a very comfortable ride compared to my other running shoes.

My HOKA package arrived at Christmas and I've been wearing the shoes since then. This is my third pair and I really love the shoes - comfortable, lightweight etc. However this morning a strip of the tread came off my left shoe and almost made me fall because it folded under as it came off. I would appreciate your sending me a replacement pair. Let me know if you need a photo as documentation.

The shoe felt too narrow in the front as a result very uncomfortable. I have always used size 8 D however I am used to purchasing NB Running shoes - this is the first time I was trying HOKA and was very disappointed and must return these - I will probably stick to NB

The right shoes sole was not cut correctly and I could not return them because I had already run in them. I didn’t really notice the sharp sole until I had the opportunity to stand I them for a short amount of time. The inner middle left portion of the sole on my right shoe was not cut to the correct width making the shoe super uncomfortable. I would go with a different brand like brooks and I wouldn’t order off this website! I’m just gonna have to throw the shoes away!

I walk/jog 3-6 miles 5 times a week. The Clifton was very comfortable but there was a in issue with an imperfection in the material in one sneaker near the big toe which resulted in excessive rubbing and eventual discomfort. Hoka was great with issuing a credit but no longer had the exact model in stock. It appears black with black sole is extremely popular. I bit the bullet and paid for an upcharge to the Bondi 8 which cost $25 more. I'm confident this product will be wonderful but does make you question Hoka's quality control procedures.

I have bunionettes and plantar so need wide shoes to accommodate. Unfortunately, these are much too narrow, still, and I'm unable to return them even though I never took them outside the house (wore them for about 10 seconds in total). If you struggle with finding wide running shoes I highly recommend Saucony wides or going for the Altra foot-shaped shoes. I'll be donating these since I can't get my money back.

I bought this shoe after having needed a wide shoe for the first time in my life. I've had Multiple pairs of Hokas in the past but at the normal width. The wide shoe I purchase this time felt no wider than the other Hokas I own. Maybe this shoe was mislabeled but it definitely was not a wide. I returned the shoes and haven't bought another pair of Hokas. I loved the shoes I previously had but this pair didn't work. It's difficult to find a size 14 EE in your local store to try them on before purchase.

My largest complaint about the Hoka Clifton 8 is that is wears out on the back inside of the shoe at heel. I have had this shoe recommended to me by two different dealers so I figured that I would give them a try. First pair began to wear at heel so I decided to see if another dealer would suggest something different . They suggested same shoe and gave me some suggestions as to how to prevent the issue from happening again. I had this pair less than a year before he same issue happened causing blisters on the back of my heel. I tried taping the back with an adhesive bandage so as to prevent blistering but that didn't work. Solution move to another brand. Also one cannot get to any customer service person to discuss this issue. I would warn people against purchasing this shoe for any type of everyday activity. I am not a runner but do walk 5 miles a day a a good clip and this shoe failed me both times.

I needed a sneaker for my aching feet. I have planters fasciitis and heel spurs and Hoka was recommended to me by my podiatrist. I ordered these sneakers and to my surprise they do not look like anything like the sneakers pictured online. To me they looked like an old fashioned orthopedic shoe that you can have made for you. I was looking for something a little more in style with todays fashion trends

My Clifton 8's only lasted about 14 months. All of the cushioning is gone and the soles are about 75% worn. I've only ran about 25 miles in them. Most of the use for daily wear. They started off feeling great, but did not last.

Ordered a new pair of Clifton's because my last pair were like walking/running on a cloud. The redesign of the already perfect shoe is narrower and pinches my foot in the arch and heel. I do not have a wide foot so the issue for sure seems to be that they changed a perfectly perfect shoe. This looks more like a running shoe that the previous Clifton's. On a side note, the fun color choices (different color pattern on left and right side) is also missed.

For my feet (high arch and instep) this shoe wasn't what I had hoped based on reviews. It is very hard and stiff, not cushioning at all. Although the ball of my foot and arch support were in the correct position, the toe was so long I would slip forward when walking. Had to return.

These were referred to by other sites as wide toe box, narrow heel. The toe box was not wide enough and was very short in height. I also did not like the openness of the mesh fabric.

I did not think the arch support was any better than other brands for the price.
