Size was a bit on the small size. Toe box was narrow. Built in arch support was very uncomfortable. So if you have low arches like me this is NOT the shoe for you. I had high hopes but was sadly disappointed by this shoe.

I spent more money on shoes to get in the gym and help save my knees, feet and back but I am disappointed in the insole of them. The shoe looks and feels nice in general but the insoles are so thin and uncomfortable I'm tempted to return them. The shoe has cushion but the insole has very little support and impact absorption and that makes me very sad. I've heard amazing reviews about these but now I fell like I was a little bamboozeled. Now I'm going to have to buy more insoles after spending all I did for these. I guess I'll just deal with it.

The shoe were nice for the first 2 weeks then after that the heel of my feet are hurting. Unfortunately I have to return the product for something else.

I realized the Clifton 8's are for people who have more of an arch in their feet and apparently I have flat feet. I would not attribute the purchase to the quality of shoe but customer purchase error.

Bondi 8, after 23 miles, showing extreme wear with sole of shoe. Ride is comfortable but expected life of shoe, because of inferior product material, will be less than 100 miles. First time to experience this expensive and very disappointing problem with Hoka.

The fit was OK. I started wearing them around the house and after awhile they started to hurt. I didn't feel any support.

I don't know if I can keep it yet. It feels very tight on my foot! I always wear 9.5 though so maybe I need to break them in with a run!

I'm a RN and work 12.5 hours shift. I did plenty of research and thought this was the show for me but that wasn't the case. I wore them for a month and the issue continued. The lateral aspect of both feet hurt everytime.

I wear wide-width shoes but when it comes to athletic footwear, I buy standard medium width 2 1/2 sizes up to get a proper fit since most companies don't offer sneakers in wide widths. After trying other styles and navigating sizes and fit, I decided to try the Clifton 8, going for the larger size but in wide width. Imagine my disappointment when I found that the shoes were still too small. Build quality is high and they felt good in general, but the shoes were tight in the area on the top and sides of my foot, behind the toe box. For shoes at this price I shouldn't have to decide between hoping a larger size will be better or using a stretcher to try expanding a shoe in my size that should fit properly. Especially since there are brands I can buy at half the price that fit perfectly out of the box. And considering your shipping rates, if I ever do add a pair of Hokas, it'll be in a store where I can try them on before buying.

They are not as comfortable as my Bondi 7's and you need a shoe horn to put them on.

I am a huge fan of the Clifton Edge and thought the Clifton would be similar to it bit i was WRONG. I tried but could not run in them for more than 2 weeks. They always hurt my feet because of how hard they were. They seem like they can last and be a good everyday run shoe but way to hard for me.

My podiatrist recommended this shoe because of the drop. The drop was OK. However, the tab on the back of the shoe, which I suppose should make it easier to pull on, rubbed against my heel and achilles. I tried two different sizes. Same issue both times. Orthotic also was not a good fit. I am returning.

Lumbar support was very uncomfortable. Felt like I had pebbles in my shoe. Also, was not extra wide.

The show is very tight fitted and constrains my feet. Bought one pair of Hoka shoes about a year ago and was very pleased. Not please with this purchase, I do not plan on buying another pair. Not worth the price

First run was great I was so happy I ordered a second pair. Second run notta so good . Third run low back heel and Very Angry Achilles. Both pairs went right back. However, HOKA people are incredibly helpful and provide awesome help not to mention are outstanding with returns and understanding how fussy runners are about fit and comfort and get that a runner needs to run not just for physical health but mental health too and hang in there with you till you are truly happy. I have bondi 8 now and they're perfect. No pain. A RUNNER RUNS!
