These shoes were recommended by my podiatrist, but they're no more comfortable than other shoes I've worn and they're more expensive.

While it looks like a well built shoe, the arch support is took much for me and is uncomfortable. The sizing seemed correct and was comfortable in that aspect. I would love this shoe if there was a little less arch.

I wish I got the wide version. After a 2 months I thought the pain I felt in my feet would go away. Then I realized the shoe is too narrow for my feet. Even though I've never needed wide shoes before.

Not at all, all day comfortable when walking 4 -5 miles a day at work. Lack padding and support. Sketchers are a lot more comfortable and suited for my purpose.

THe shipping was over a week and then when I recieved, I learned that these 'run small' . So I waiting for too long for shoes that are an uncomforatble small fit.

I have several pairs of Hoka shoes. Very pleased with those. However, there is possibly a metal piece at the arch that rubbed my arch raw. For me, this model doesn't cut it. I am returning the shoes.

I've never bought a wide shoe. This 8.5 is very tight. Hoping it will stretch out.

Neutral runner. Typically run in Brooks Ghost. Retire running shoes at 400 miles. First pair of Hoka running shoes ever. First run in Clinton 8's in Jan. 2023. Very comfortable & love the way they feel during runs. 23 runs to date for a total of 193 miles. Long runs in 10 mile range. Tread not wearing well. Outer edges of heals chewed up & wearing uneven. Beginning to feel discomfort in feet & knees during 8 - 10 mile runs. Planning on retiring Clifton 8's at 200 miles. Rubber on Clifton's is soft & not durable. Not a good shoe for road running. Won't be buying any more Hokas. Cannot afford to be buying a new pair of running shoes every 200 miles.

the left sneaker has begun to squeak loudly when I walk I tried at first to ignore it because I really like the sneakers, but I can no longer deal with the sound and therefore do not wear them

I was really hopeful that I could experience the benefits a lot of other reviewers claim to have received with Hoka shoes, but after ordering the Clifton 8 in 12 Wide, I was barely able to get my feet into the shoes, much less stand up and walk comfortably. I don't know what Hoka bases their sizing on, but Wide sizing isn't wide at all. For reference, I wear a 12 Wide size in all other shoes I own (Samuel Hubbard, Kuru, Etonic, Footjoy, Adidas, Allen Edmonds, etc.) without any issues, so I have to presume that the Hoka sizing varies from industry standards.

My last pair were like OMG, wonderful. This pair is not true to size. I would like to switch to an 8. I am a nurse and have recommended these highly an some coworkers are getting them or have gotten them

I have purchased three Hoka running shoes and all three are different in performance. My first purchase some three years ago was the best, but my next pair were clunky, and these, my recent purchase does not provide stability. My concern is that Hoka does not provide consistency. You never know what you are going to get.

Bought the shoe in WIDE, this brand was recommended for my fur with existing Achilles tendonosis. Arches we're way too high and that part of the shoe felt like it was squeezing both feet, causing more pain than had been in my heel. I stopped wearing them when I developed a blister on the bottom of my left foot arch. I returned them with the 30 day window.

I work in medical field and have to walk a lot. I wanted to buy shoes with which my feet done hurt and I am able to stand most of the day. But unfortunately these aren't the best ones for a person who has to stand whole day along. The width is fine size if fine but sole in center really makes it uncomfortable to stand and walk.

I bought a pair of the Clifton 6 in 9.5 EE a couple of years ago and they were probably the best running shoes I have ever had. But I was disappointed when my new Clifton 8s arrived. They were noticeably longer despite the being the same size. So I exchanged them for 9EE which were the correct length, but felt much narrower. As for the running, they were simply not good compared to their predecessor. The 8s made for a stiff, flat, and painful run. What a disappointment. These are significant downgrade compared to the previous model.

I really enjoyed the look of these shoes and had high hopes based on a different pair of Hoka's I own. Unfortunately, these shoes let me down. I have never had issues with sizing but these dug into the inside of my feet and left me in pain after a quick 2 mile run. I am thankful Hoka has a good return policy because there was no way I could continue to wear these shoes.

I have loved the Clifton 7's that I've worn. This Clifton 8 lacked the arch support that I'm used to.
