This is my second pair of Clifton 8's. Interestingly, these fit slightly tighter and don't have quite as perfect a feel as my first pair. But, I still love them.

Been using this for 5-10k runs its perfect. Great cushioning too without being over bulkly

Shoes are fantastic except one thing. They run too thin. I ordered wide and they were still too thin.

I've been running in the Clifton 8 for a couple months now. They mostly live up to the hype. Comfortable and efficient on pavement and hard pack fire roads. I had run for years in minimalist shoes such as the Nike Free. The Hoka's are definitely superior for longer distance runs. My only complaint is the lack of room in the toe box. For such a voluminous shoes in the mid sole I don't see why this doesn't carry over to the toe box. I have a narrow foot too so the wide version would not be a good fit but I definitely see the need for a more natural toe splay in the shoe when climbing or descending. If you only run the flats these might be perfect.

Switching to a Wide made all the difference in the world even though I've never needed a wide sized shoe or sneaker in my life. (I'm a 71 year old male) Accordingly, i can't help but wonder how many prospective customers have been lost because, like me, they never thought to try the Wide size.

They fit perfectly and I wan walk all day and have no low back pain and my feet feel fine. Only thing is about two weeks in, the shoes squeak. If I don't wear them for a few days, then it stops but starts again if I wear them 4 days in a row.

Only use for walking long distance. Would be better if the back did not deteriorate in 2 months

I like that the shoe is comfortable and supports my feet, ankles, and calves during workouts. My only suggestion would be that the stitching and material be better/stronger so that the part of the shoes above the soles will last longer than the soles or as long as the soles.

Hello, This is my first experience with Hoka shoes. I've only worn them a short while, so no feedback on their longevity. Cushioning is great. I purchased the size 15 wide Clifton 8. My only complaint is that the shoe is not wide enough for my toes to spread out. The shoes are perfect at the heel, arch and ball of the foot - just not enough for the toes. Maybe the larger sizes require a more square toe box? Regards, Loreto

- A slight bit off in the sizing. Slightly small. Had to put shoe stretchers in them for a week which fixed the problem. - Laces were too long and got much longer with use. Had to buy new shorter, less stretchy ones within 3 weeks. But overall I really like them

I use these shoes as my backup walking shoes and every day wear. They are extremely comfortable and meet my walking needs. The mesh top get dirty very easily - just walking through grass or any little spill makes them in wearable due to cleanliness. I would by the all leather shoe next time.

fit as advertise. i have wide foot size 12 and it is very comfortable without being so wide that my foot feels loose in the sneaker. i bought the black version and love the coloring/style. Also if you are a person who needs strong arch support these are for you.

They are a great fit for my gym training. I really like the style but preferred a different color. Originally had the all black but had to return them and get the black/white because I needed Wide and the all black was not available.

I'd give the 8's a 5-Star, but after only a month or 2, the left shoe's rubber squeaks when I walk. No damage can be seen, I only walk on concrete with them. Odd.

Running in comfort is important to me and these offer comfort and support.

I like the product - but only negative is they only last about 6 months before they are almost worn out- I would like to find a product like this that lasts longer

Amazing shoe. Sleek and stylish but extremely comfortable. I've had knee problems my whole life and these made that pain disappear. The only thing is I wish they had the color I got in a wide size.
