I purchased the Clinton shoe before, in black and they had a lot more room width and a higher arch support then these new ones do. These are more like a 1/2 size smaller. The Clinton that I bought before, after a year, the back of the heel flap on the outside developed hole on the inside of the shoe, I hope these where are better

Good looking shoe, but three things made it not for me. The mesh was strung too tight ov er the toes, even with the laces completely loose. The arch support was too aggressive. Lastly, the heel section of the footbed was cupped and too narrow, even for a wide shoe.

Been running in Clifton's since the first model was issued years ago . . . The Clifton 8, in my opinion runs 1/2 size long . . . I usually wear a 10 -- Needed to return the 10 for a 9 1/2

First pair were to tight ! Returned them 12/D ordered 12/EE much better ! On the shoe repair place to get a lift put on the left one ! I wish that tha hoke wasn’t on the side in big bold letters ! Light weight

Returned a pair of ASICS Nimbus 24 which was narrower and a half size smaller than my Nimbus 23. Frustrating. Neighbor suggested I try HOKA. Ordered a 12.5 D which is my normal running shoe size. Was a half size too large and the toe box was slightly tight so I returned them. Since I need a larger toe box I tried a 12 Clifton 8 in a EE. Perfect fit. Shoe is very well cushioned and the heel drop is lower than my backup running shoes (Brooks Ghost 14). Hoping that helps with back and knee issues. Haven't worn them enough to tell if they will hold up well over time. I usually get ~350 miles before replacement.

Ordered half size larger and added insert for cushioning and then the shoes felt great for walking etc. recommend adding insert for better cushioning.
