I use the Clifton 8 for general wear and for long walks. If there were one improvement, I would love to see it would be a more pronounced arch support in the footbed. The toe box is large and plenty big.

I always wear Brooks 9.5 W but the Hoka shoes sizing are bigger than Brooks, so I ordered the usual 9W Hoka which Clifton 9, Bondi 8, and Arahi 6 fits my size perfectly.
The Clifton 8 has a SLIGHTLY narrow toe box and rubs my pinkies. Hopefully, this can be corrected by after breaking in.

I haven't had the shoes for long and I've been enjoying them. It seems that I can only wear them for workouts, all day wear they start to hurt my feet.

I learned how to tie my shoes properly. And this shoes feels alot better to run in. Tho I still get some numbing sensation. Im still trying to figure out whats causing it.

My first purchase from Hoka was a pair of Rincon 3 and I was immediately satisfied. For my second pair, I decided to try the Clifton 8. While both pair are lightweight, well cushioned, and comfortable, I generally prefer the Rincon overall at this point. The Clifton feels somewhat heavier and the fit is narrower. The stiffer heel counter gave me a blister the first time out, but after I added Engo blister patches, they're much more comfortable.

I'm a walker. This shoe feels great when I put it on , but my feet need lateral support and this shoe is lacking in that area for me. I also should have ordered an E width. No fault of the shoe, not being able to try it on 1st. One drawback of online purchases.

The shoe are extremely comfortable but I wear 14 wide in most of my shoes. Hoka 14 wide is not wide enough to wear my inserts.

Its a comfortable show but the left heel squeaks. It will be fine otherwise but I think the HOKA hiking boots I bought in the pat spoiled me.

I have a pair of Clifton 8s, and tried their successor, the Clifton 9. The 9s have a slightly wider outsole around the toe area, which can be problematic if you're driving and require quick transitions between brake and accelerator.
The 8s simply fit better than the 9s. Having one pair already, I waited too long to get a second pair. But I enjoy the 8s fit such that I'll take any color in my size (11.5 EE).
The more I wear them, the better they feel.
Caveat: the medium width 9s might be as good as, or better, than the 8s, so maybe someone has a comparative review.

Used for running, these are so far, the most comfortable, cushioned, and supportive shoe I've ever had.
Fit is true to size. They're a bit slippy on dirt trails, I know they're not trail runners but I end up on mixed surfaces all the time. Great shoe.

It is very comfortable though has so far had very poor traction when on wet surfaces. I guess it is a trade off between comfort and not slipping.
This shoe shortens your achilles and has a toe-down design so stretch after a long day.

When I first got them they were pre laced up. I didn't think to loosen the laces so they were too tight. I loosened up the laces and refitted them and now they feel a little too mushy.

I bought my first pair of HOKAS and am sorry to say , I was disappointed with them. I have a high arch so the elastic tongue cuts off my circulation.

Comfortable but tight. An E would be way to wide.

A very noticeable difference when I put these on. Much more of a cushy feel than any other shoe I've tried. I've only had them for a few days, so four stars only because I've been warned that they don't hold up, so reserving the fifth star until I've worn them a while. If they hold up even reasonably well, then it's five stars all the way. Really comfortable shoe.

Comfortable at first, but as my feet swell a little with walking the shoes really feel tight.

I would purchase again if the soles were more cushy. I suffer from lack of fat on the bottoms of my feet and I am looking for a solution. Nike does have a pair I'm currently looking at.

So far, good. I've only had 2-4 mile runs, but they are definitely better than my old Nikes:)

A really comfortable shoe. Great for being on my all day. However, these are not as plush as the Bondi shoe but very close.
