This update has been excellent so far. I've run on them a couple of times now and have noticed a couple of things so far that are a great improvement from its predecessor. First, the toe box has a bit more room and with the mesh upper, it feels even more roomy without a sensation of it falling off. Second, the heel collar seems to be just a little lower which is great for my ankle bones. Thank you, Hoka for the hard work. Can't wait to put some more miles on them.

What an amazing produce and I wouldn't use any other shoe

I love the comfort and fit of Hoka shoes, however the communications between the company and the consumer are not very good, I pre-ordered my shoes and delivery time took so long I should have waited and purchased at the store on the release date, at least I would have received them in a timely manner, not almost 2 weeks.

I have been running for 14 years and these are the first hokas I have used and they are the absolute best shoes I have ever run in. I will be buying hoka every time I need shoes from now on.

I'm 6'5'' 280 lbs Had problems finding great running/walking shoes until Hoka arrived! Superb quality, amazing fit and unmatched feel!

Please, please, please come out with normal colors for these shoes. It's obvious that real men don't want to wear Easter Egg yellow sneakers, as this was the only color you had left. If you want to have crazy coloring, that's fine. I believe they will sit on your shelf and be on sale at some point. Just have normal blues, grays, and black colors. I love these running sneakers and even use the crazy colors in the woods (as I have no choice) but to be seen in my neighborhood wearing Easter Egg yellow sneakers is both embarrassing and not necessary. Sorry to be blunt but I got sent this survey several times.

Nice shoe but heel too high now.

The Clifton is a bit more narrow than the Giavonta. The insoles are extremely comfortable however

I wore Hokas years ago... I think they are more comfortable today. Enjoying walking more

This is my first pair of these while I usually get the Rincon 3. These shoes offer great support and are a comfortable fit but they do seem to fit differently from the Rincon 3's.

Love the show but over priced.

Previous Bondi 7 shoe wearer and still have a pair left, but saw on line for sale Clifton 8. Brother in law wears them and said he had been happy with, so I decided to try a pair. So far so good, but I always add a fresh Dr. Sc..... insert as my foot soles need extra cushioning that no show provides me.

I have run in every Clifton they've made. I was running in Clifton 7 in a 10 but for this version of the shoe I had to go down to a 9.5 to get it to fit right in the toe box. Going a little small is okay because the toe box has no structure anyway. And after about 100 mi it's going to stretch out and fit your feet. You are going to get comfort out of this shoe , but not high mileage. I have to throw these shoes out before they hit 300 mi because they are destroyed when they get there.

I'm a first time Hoka shoe buyer and found the Clifton 8 12.5 size mens shoe very supportive for me at 250lbs. The regular size was a bit tight or cramped along the span of my foot at the ball of foot section. I'm returning for a Wide 12.5 size to alleviate the discomfort. I usually wear a 13 UA shoe. I also had a squeak sound in the right mid sole of the shoe upon walking or jogging as if something was popping each step. No issue on left shoe. Hopefully the next pair will be better

My previous uses of the Hoka brand were enjoyable from the start. Shoes were very comfortable from first wearing and performed well throughout my use. They are not as durable as some other shoes, but that didn't matter as much to me. I got the Biondi 8 because the reviews I read said they were a little more durable but did not sacrifice comfort. When I first wore them, the weren't as comfortable as previous styles I had, but they have become more comfortable as they've "broken in". I'm not sure I would buy this style again, but it hasn't changed my mind that Hoka is the best running/walking shoes I've ever owned.

I wanted something for walking my dog. Did some research and seemed like Hoka was pretty much top of the lists for walking. Normally I go Nike but little unsatisfied on something comfortable for our walks, which range 3 to 5 miles - up and down roads on hills. Took a chance and so far, really happy with my purchase.

I work in an ER, so I'm on feet all day. It's normal for me to get out of work pretty footsore. These Hokas offer enough support to help with that a bit. They might be better than my leather moccasins. I've gotten plenty of compliments on them. I thought the colors were low-key enough to not get noticed, but nope. I'm ok with that though. They're comfortable. I like them enough to try the Clifton 9s someday. I hear those are more comfortable.

Love the shoe,but it squeaks will walking, have tried taping the insoles and tried powder,no satisfying results

Is wear these shoes for walking. It has the right cushioning for walking. The show is lightweight. And I love the hot bright color of them.

Performance wise, excellent shoe. I have ran with it on an actual track and I get no pain in my knees or lower back. I run on average 3mi / 3x a week. Material is great, no issues. Just wish there was an option for solid colors.

I like them..very light..effortless..i did size up a half size

I use the shoes for walking and casual wear. I like the cushioning of the sole of the shoes but feel the insole is a little too firm for my arches.
