So comfortable and the toe box is wide enough!

I'm a 45 mile per week runner and use 5-6 days per week. Some between mid dole and heal is wearing out quickly, consistent with other Hoka products.

i'm a casual runner who runs 3-4 miles 3-4 times a week. 40 year old male, 6'4", 190lbs, flat / not great feet. my first hokas were clifton 6s bought blindly at the suggestion of a friend. those were great, and worn until they started to fall apart. after taking the hoka quiz, i bought the rincons -- these were not great, were worn twice, and returned. ordered the new clifton 8s, and i'm glad i did. to me, they feel a bit thicker / plush underfoot than the 6s, with more padding above too. plenty of room around the toes, fits well around the midfoot and heel. unboxed them today and put their first four miles on them. no blisters, no sore muscles, no problems. two gripes -- personally, i don't like the achilles pull tab, and wish the back of the shoe was just normal. it doesn't seem to have a purpose, and it's kind of ugly. speaking of ugly, the colorways are just awful. black w black & black w white are boring/fine, but the three options with actual color are all pretty bad. i bought the metamucil powder orange / white ones and will call them "creamsicle."

I use the Clifton 8 for my daily walks which are twice a day at close to 4 miles each walk. They are extremely comfortable & true to size and have new added features that the Clifton 7 did not have.

My third pair of Hoka. Can't say enough good things about them. I am not a runner. I use them for daily use. First pair was for help with plantar fasciitis. Like them so much so that I bought 2 more pair. Only shoe I wear daily.

My first Hokas were the carbon x2s. they are great for what i needed but i wanted something that was a little more suited for various conditions. I ordered the clifton 7s and those were perfect for an everyday runner for me. when i saw that the 8s were coming out, i preordered them and waited...and waited some more.. then when they finally came in, i was super pleased with how they fit and how they felt on my feet. the small tweaks they made to the shoe made them better for my needs and wants! looks like i'll be buying the 9s when they drop as well!

I wear these as work shoes and they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever had! No question! I bought the wide size and like them much more than the first pair of HOKA that I bought. I DONT NORMALLY BUY WIDE.

These have a nice balanced cushion. I have 2 pairs now. The black and white aren't cool grey like on photo they are black. Other than that they are exactly what I expected.

I purchased a size 8 and the arch of the right shoe, didn't seem to lineup, like the arch of the left shoe. I ran with them 3 times, thinking the shoe may relax and fit my foot better. It did not, so I contacted Hoka and they said I could return or exchange them. I exchanged them for a size 8.5 and they fit so much better and the pain in my arch is gone.

I Will use my clifton 8 to prepare my next marathon

Awesome shoe. Coming from the Clifton 6, the 8's are a nice upgrade. Was hesitant about not having the pull strap on the heel, but the new heel slides in nicely for those not wanting to re-tie every time. Logged about 40 miles and shoes are good.

I'm on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day on Concrete, no foot pain

I love the new upper! The sole has the same great qualities I have come to expect, but the upper is more sound while still being light and comfortable.

I have done a 10k and a 21 mile long run in the new Clifton 8 (Wide). They are breaking in nicely. My feet have felt good so far. I love the fact they are doing a wide version, not because I have wide feet though. In fact I don't have wide feet, but the standard size just doesn't work with my instep. The wide version helps this and gives my feet room to swell on those long days. For me this an improvement over the last version. I guess I will know for sure once I get over 50 miles in them.

Was researching on different brands of running shoes since I'm always road running and came across, Hoka, kept trying to figure out which one I was going to buy because I got tired of my knees hurting while I ran. I finally made the choice out of all the ones I was looking at and chose to go with Hoka. And let me tell you. These shoes are beyond amazing. They're super comfy and super light. Seriously feels like nothing is there. The first half mile they felt a little different but after that I cannot say a bad thing about them. The bounce that it helps give while they helps you maintain your pace without even really having to try is crazy. Same route I alway take and Same effort I was able to shave off a pretty good chunk of time off my total time and also my pace. I heard great things about them after I purchased them from a few friends and family members. And out of the box, I'm beyond happy with choosing to pick these. I will not buy another running shoe again!

Always feel good in Hoka

after searching and searching for a fave pair of running shoes, i think i have found them! cumfy, cushioned, love them so far.

Love these shoes, very light with excellent cushioning, response and support! Good for any activity or daily wear.
