Great shoe. Light. Has an incredible soft ride. Also breathes very well which is a big plus for me. I don't have to wear my usual insoles with it. One disadvantage is that all your others shoes will feel like concrete. Although the wide width is sufficient, I wish they made the Clifton in an extra wide like the Bondi 7.

My Shuga wear a size 16. He's such a fan this is his second pair and he says that his feet never felt so good. Wished there was a size 16 in the recovery flop.

Makes running a pleasure

This shoe could be the finest running shoe created in my opinion. The Clifton has always been my go to shoe for comfort and easy rolling miles. The fit (size 13) is spot on. As a "bigger" runner (200lbs) the Clifton 8 gives me excellent cushion with good feedback from the road. Recovery runs, speed work, training runs, etc., the Clifton is perfect suited to all running. My feet feel comfortable mile after mile regardless of the length of the run.

I've had all the major brands and this is the best. It honestly feels like i'm on a trampoline. Just got diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and it's done wonders wearing these shoes!

I'm an RN so I'm on my feet all day long. Had a pair of Clifton sevens for only about three weeks and I had to return them because they were so hard. The new Clifton eight is way more comfortable and has padding in all the right places including the sole and the tongue. Hoka has absolutely the best customer service in the world that I've ever experienced thanks again!

I go through several paid each year. I usually get about 600 miles out of each pair. Yet even after all of those miles, I use them to wear to work. They are still more comfortable than new pair of another brand of shoe.

Before I started using hoka I had knee pain, foot pain, and the back of my claves use to hurt. I went to the doctor and got a cat scan/ and X-rays. No tears but it was due to over running and not having the best shoes I can buy. These are game changers and now I have no pain. Definitely ordering more. Thanks Hoka & if you want to sponsor me I'm down with it.

I was very skeptical about the shoe but gave it a shot, O! Sh@t! this a really good shoe. I'm going to get a pair for my girlfriend and brother.

I was on my feet a lot every day and was having a lot of foot pain on the ball of my foot, tried several insoles but no relief until I got the Hoka, pain gone, walking is fun now. I ordered a half size larger and they are perfect. If they would run a good sale on them I would buy 2 or 3 more pair.

Better than Brooks shoes.

I am a door to door salesman and walking is a huge part of my 10 hour work day. I was using other walking shoes but they were only okay. These shoes have been life changing. My heels would usually hurt after a day but with these, they haven't been hurting. I plan to get more Hoka shoes !

I bought these due to the fact that I have bad naprapathy in my feet. The Clifton 8's made a world of difference. I can walk all day and not suffer like I had in the past these have been a game changer. I can now look forward to taking my son to Disneyworld and knowing that I am not going to suffer after being on my feet all day.

Bought this shoe for my husband who has diabetic neuropathy. He said his feet have never felt better !!

250lbs and wide flat feet. It's always a challenge finding wide shoes that can fit an arch support and provide support. Usually with carbon arch supports you don't even feel the cushion of a shoe I was so surprised to still have a plush feel. I can't imagine how comfortable it would feel without those supports. Love the easy to slide on function on the heel.
