As expected, Clifton 8's are super light weight, but run narrow causing hot spots on the inside and outside of the heel. If I were to go to a "wide", I think there would be too much slop in the heal pocket. Hopefully they will stretch out as they have more miles on them. I wear for for work and avg 5+ miles a day. Legs feel great as compared to other heavier shoes. Just the narrowness of the heal and forefoot (Cuboid) causing some discomfort. My next pair (and yes, I would buy again) I will give the wide version a try. Can't beat the heal cushioning and forward push these shoe have.

I use this product on my feet. I think I maybe could have gone a half size bigger. It's better if I wear thin socks with them. I'm wondering if they'll stretch out at all.

I have a hard time finding US size 16 shoes, so was happy to give these a try. They arrived timely and coming out of the box were very lightweight and seemed to be well made. I left a 4-star rating as they did seem to be very good shoes. Unfortunately, the standard width D was too narrow for me. Not used to having a selection of width available I just buy whatever shoe in size 16 I can find. So perhaps these run a little narrow or my feet are just too darn big....

Narrow at toe end and some running on side of left foot. Have tried numerous different tightness on laces as well as inserts. Able to make it workable

Great walking shoe and pickle ball as well. Excellent arch support. Don't even use my orthodics.

I almost gave the Clifton 8 a 5, but... ...they fit more narrow in the forefoot than previous Clifton models. I own a pair of Clifton 4 and Mach 4 of the same size (9D); both were comfortable to run in right out of the box. I decided to retire my Clifton 4s with a new pair of Clifton 8s. The Clifton 8s fit narrow at the forefoot. I thought they just needed to be broken in; however, after several months of running with them, they have not loosened up in the forefoot. N PROS: Compared to my old Clifton 4s, the rubber soles are more grippy! CONS: Forefoot fits more narrow than my older shoes (Clifton 4 and Mach 4).

I use Hoka to make my Achiles heal less painful. On my feet all day and has reduced my pain by 90%. Excited to purchase a pair for playing pickleball to see how they work out. Only be watchful of "fake" adds for Hoka on FB.

It is light and roomy since I bought wide version. I bought for work since I'm on my feet for a long time and many of my co-workers recommended or they were wearing Hoka. I'm not too sure about cushioning yet. Perhaps I should try Bandi next.

I use them for working out and some general wear. The outer edge of the sole is a little high and causes me a little discomfort.

I have had 3 pairs and each lasted me about 200-250 miles of running. The rubber tread also started to fall off after a couple uses but still a great shoe.

Here are some pros and cons of my newly acquired HOKA Clifton running shoes PROS: They look great! Nice design. They are also very light. The cushion is like no other. Almost feels like you're cheating when running with these. They provide a natural spring to your stride CONS: Minimal toe support. I am size 13 so my front toe tends to slide off the sole. Also low rear heel support. I'm used to a taller heel support. But the light weight makes up for this OVERALL: Great shoe that I look forward to putting miles on
