I love Hokas. I have used their running shoes since 2016. The footbed of these were very comfortable but the right foot when laced up was actually painful. One of the grommets pressed into my ankle bone. Was not something that could be broken in unfortunately

Love the light weight, but the exaggerated heel made walking down stairs dangerous. Looking for a good hiking shoe with lots of cushion, waterproof, and made for people with shin splints and meniscus problems.

I wore these for one hike and they were great for the hike. The second time I went to lace them up the top shoelace hook completely came off. I don't consider myself to be particularly strong, I'm actually quite small, so it seems as though there is a manufacturing defect. Was contemplating exchanging but don't want to deal with this again so I'll probably just return and get new hiking shoes elsewhere.

I used Anacapa for hiking and walking with my dog. This is my second par of Anacapa. These are perfect for snow and rain. I love it :D

I had to return them bc they are too wide. Women's hiking boots do not come in widths. They are all B and I try to compensate with thick socks. But these are too wide for that.

I fell for the awesome rugged look and it m loyal to the brand. But the toe box was a little too narrow causing some hot spots and toe rubbing. So blister city. Heel was snug so that was a good thing. A little disappointed that the reflecting lines that run around the top part of the shoe starting bubbling and lifting after I short hike. Literally only 11 miles. Hola has also had impeccable quality. Not sure what happened here?

I usually buy unisex hokas but this time I tried womens. It was too small, and I don't think the larger size was available.

These are both comfortable and supportive. There is also the wonderful Hoka cushion in them. I wore them around the house for a couple days before wearing them hiking and am happy to say they were great to wear hiking. Very happy with them.

I would have liked this product in a wide. It had great grip for my trails but quickly realized I would have to carry multiple pairs of socks to keep my feet dry. Might be right for one person, but not for me. Not a terrible boot.

This product can only be praised! I have multiple issues with my feet and the ONLY brand of shoe that I wear are Hoka's. I have been wearing this brand for over 5 years and will continue to do so.

Returned these. I already have Hoka high top and bought these because they say "mid". I wrongly assumed that meant the ankle height. They are exactly the same as the high top boots. The hunt for a good mid height so continues.

Since HOKA hiking boots aren't available locally (and I have been wearing Challengers for several years, which I can buy locally), I ordered online. These boots (Anacapa) have an insert at the back that rubbed my ankles and was pretty uncomfortable. I hiked 7 miles on Friday and hate to think what I'd feel with longer hikes. Also the toe box is smaller than my previous boots so I can't wear thicker socks.

Excellent support on ankle. Comfortable walk. They do run warm but it's the trade off for the weatherproofing.

Had to return, it was too narrow. You really should have the option to choose wide.

I ordered size 8.5 because this boot doesn't come in an 8 Wide, which is my true size. So, they're fine. I had to add some padding on the right inside ankle because a seam was rubbing and causing a blister. Once I "customized" the boots, they have been fine. I walk my dog in the snow for about three miles a day, and I have good traction with these boots. I wish they came in wide widths - I have other Hokas in wide and they are perfect for me. I wouldn't recommend if someone doesn't need a wide width shoe.

I have been a huge HOKA fan for years. I own 4 pairs of walking/running shoes and 2 pairs of hiking shoes. I was hoping this updated model would feel the same as my last pair but NO! Toe box too narrow, my regular size felt short and one step into the shoe and I knew it wouldn't work for my hiking adventures. Waiting now for the full refund.
