had to return them. walking one block hurt a lot.

Laces hooks are uncomfortable and hurt my ankles.

I ordered these because I work outside, and it's starting to get cold and snowy in my state. I love my Hoka Clifton 8s so I figured id give these boots a try. I received them in the mail and the lace was already frayed from where it goes into the lacing slot. Then I put them on and they rub my ankles so badly. The seam at the ankle area where the two pieces of fabric meet hurts so bad. Not to mention the metal piece where you put the lace into has a metal rivet backing that rubs your ankle.

Very disappointed, this is the first Hoka product I didn't like. The inside padding doesn't cover the plastic lace attachments. Because of this the plastic lace attachments dig into your ankle & ankle bone. Red ankle & ankle bone after wearing them inside for a short time.

If you read the description it shows water proof, i work as a mail carrier and this is the only brand I wear overall for walking all day 7 days a week 12 hours everyday i recommend HOKA brand. But this particular shoes I don't, the reason is one thing only it was not water proof. I had goldfish swimming inside my shoes when it was raining hard the other day.

The fit around the ankles hurt, rub during constant walking. Fits tight around the outside of the toes.

this hiking boots need to be reevaluated the way it is made. the stitching inside the shoe constantly rubbed on ankle, top of foot. please re make it. Return return return!

The boots were uncomfortable and narrow. It's the first pair of Hokas that I've purchased that were not comfortablewhich was disappointing. Luckily HOKA has a 30 day return policy and I was easily able to return and get a refund for my boots. I will have to try another pair of HOKA hiking boots because I really do like to wear them.

The tread is already pilling off the bottom of the shoe. I have a lot of shoes that are much cheaper and older that the tread has never pilled off. I feel to much money to fall apart that quickly!

I love my Hoka's I have many pairs. But this are stiff and uncomfortable (at least for me). Returned.

Bought these for a bucket list trekking trip to Peru. First pair the lace hook broke about the 3rd time I put them on. Second pair..in the middle of the Andes with no stores around, the right shoe separated from the sole. Luckily, my guide had one tube of super glue. Next day, the same thing happened with the left shoe! No more super glue! 2 days out from Machu Picchu! I resorted to taping the whole shoe with Rock Tape. I like Hoka products but this is unacceptable! Customer service apologized and gave me my money back but with a bucket list trip almost ruined by extremely poor construction and non-existent quality control, it's hard to think these are worth buying.

I'd give a zero if I could. Impossible to get assistance with status of order. Only says "Processing" and can't actually speak to a live person. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

The design of the back of the shoe leaves me with blisters every time.

Not a good day hiking boot. Not hood on down hill or side hills. Too floppy, doesn't hold your foot back on downhill. I am sooo dissapointed

I've had 2 pairs now that have totally fallen apart within 30-45 days of use. The warranty is not legitimate and just overall, not good customer experience. Do not waste your money with this company.

These boots gave me awful blisters on both feet in the same places. I am a healthcare worker and use to being on my feet all day. After a day of hiking my whole foot felt like it was on fire. Has poor traction on snow covered trails as well. Wish I could return them, but I am out of the thirty day window

I bought these last year after LOVING my Hoka sneakers at work (I'm a nurse working 12 hour shifts). Well, these boots aren't like the sneakers at all. I only wore them twice before finishing the hiking season in my old falling apart Merrell's. I got them out again this spring to try them again and they are really so bad. They push my toes forward and smoosh my toes; leaving space behind my heel. Lacing them differently made no difference. I always wear a 5 in hiking boots and have really "normal" feetno issues and pretty much anything I try on fits as expected. I wish I could return these. Don't waste your money.

Most painful Hoka I've ever purchased. Had to return.
