Normally a 7.5/8 I bought a size 7 following the sizing guidelines. They're a little big but there's room for thick socks for cold days. This is my second pair of LL Bean brand boots. My last pair lasted 5 years. The gortex material is definitely more breathable than my previous pair.

Bought these boots for my mother, because up hear in New England our snow usually ends up turning slushy. She said there Great!! Super comfy and very warm, best boot she's ever had!

This if my first LL bean boot. I have always wanted a pair, and decided to go with the insulated pair since I live in Cleveland, Ohio and we get anything from snow, intense cold, to rain during the fall and winter. I typically wear a size 9, except for my running shoes I wear a size 9.5. I have a pair of LL bean storm chasers that I wear in a size 9. I ordered these in a 9 and they fit great. Tighter with 2 pairs of thick socks, but not uncomfortable or painful. Fits fine with 1 pair of socks. I love these boots!!! the sole is amazing, I have more traction and grip when walking in slippery conditions. These are also so warm and keep my feet dry! I also feel like I have better arch support in these than in past boots I have worn. I am so happy with this purchase and will continue to look at LL Bean for shoes!

Currently I live near Charleston, SC, but I am from Northern NY and still spend a great deal of time back in the north. I was searching for basically an all weather boot. I wanted something that was not a rain boot, but could withstand the southern rain and hurricane weather, but also have a boot that could work in the snow and be able to sustain some light hiking and fall/winter/spring activities outside in the north as well as keep my feet warm, dry, and comfortable. THIS IS THE BOOT! I actually went ahead and ordered the boot after reading a review from someone who said the boot is perfect for Savannah, GA weather. This was a fantastic review as Savannah and Charleston are only a couple of hours drive distance from one another and I already know SO many NNY folks who wear this boot and swear by them. Sizing: In boots I typically wear a 10 and my feet run wide. I stayed with my true boot size and my natural width since wide was an option. I ordered a 10w and the boot fits perfectly. It's a boot so it fits like a boot. I have room to wiggle with a regular sock and the sizing is still comfortable with a thick wool sock. I do find them to be a bit bulky, but they haven't had time for the leather to form to me yet, so I don't prefer to wear them as a fashion statement only. The boots are warm! I've only worn them in SC so far this January/February and my feet will be the warmest part of my body, when usually they're the coldest. When I ordered, the picture associated with the lining showed it to be a shade of red. My boots came with a black lining. I really don't like red that much and wanted a color that could match anything, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Bought these to replace a defective pair of 6" LL Bean boots (right foot wasn't waterproof). The Gore-Tex lining always keeps my feet dry and provides adequate insulation in MA weather. I was afraid the extra 2 inches would be cumbersome and hard to walk in but these boots are amazing! There was no break-in period and the 8" height is easy to walk and drive in. These boots are very good quality and durable. My boots have seen 2 winters, yet still look new! I have a very steep driveway, so often wear these with Stabilicers (size Medium). Both were an excellent investment. Be sure to order at least a 1/2 size down. I normally wear these with medium to heavy socks. I wear a 9.5 Med or Wide in the LLB Rocky Coast shoes, 9.5 Wide in the Casco Bay Boat Mocs; all my other footwear is sized Women's US10 Med/Wide.

I have long, narrow feet and it extremely hard to find narrow boots. These fit perfect. I am so happy that I purchased these boots. My feet slide all around in my other narrow boots. These are Great Boots!

Went to store did not have my size they ordered my size received in women boots needed men boots went back to store Exchange for men's boots excellent customer service Exchange for men boots, Will shop there again

The boots were a gift to my daughter. She says they are warm and comfortable. They fit perfectly. They aren't clunky and bulky, and feel light and stylish (for boots). The only imperfection is a slightly rough finish to the corner at the top front of each boot. Presumably related to being hand-made. She is very pleased after 2 weeks of use.

It took a while to get right size, but these are great. Warm, good traction while walking.. great for NH changing weather.

Love these boots, had to buy another pair because my daughter would always take them. Mine are old and I do like the clips for the laces better on the old ones better than the eyelet holes on the newer ones. The fit is great and are very warm with a heavy sock, they stay dry in the snow and you can wear them with anything!

The fit is great; however, my daughter "stole" them from me before I even got to wear them. I told her to get her Dad to order a pair for her for Xmas. I demanded she give them back, but apparently she loves them (comfy, warm, and so on) and they're very "in" with the 16-year-old crowd...so I hope to get them back after she gets her own pair...or I will be forced to buy another pair (more business for you)! :-( and :-)

Love these boots! As others said and they recommend I ordered a full size down (wear an 8 ordered a 7) felt narrow at first but after wearing a couple of times they have molded wonderfully to my foot. Comfy and warm, very happy with them!

These boots are everything I hoped they would be. I was nervous I would have to keep sending boots back to get the right size but the 6 AA fit me just right. At first they were a little narrow but as I've broken them for a few weeks they now fit perfectly. I live in Savannah and was worried the goretex would be too much and my feet would get overheated, but i can't imagine not having it! My feet are so warm and comfortable, I can't believe I waited so long to get these.

I purchase this shoes as a gift for my daughter's birthday and she love them. They fit just right and keep her feet dry and with the gore Tex they are great for cold weather.

These are the boots I've been searching for my whole life. They fit very comfortably to size and they're super light to walk in compared to other winter boots like Sorels. They hug my foot nicely and don't rub on my legs, making them very comfortable for my daily dog walk. In the past, I always had a "light duty" and a "heavy duty" pair of boots, but these boots will serve as both. The thinsukate inuslation makes them very toasty. If I had known how much better these boots are than all others, I would have bought them years ago.

I've had these boots for about 2 months and I wear them almost every day. I shopped around for the perfect boot for a long time when I moved to New England and I'm really glad I settled on these boots. So far, they are everything I wanted them to be and more. I've worn them in rain and snow and I have not been cold or wet. They keep my toes toasty without making them so warm that my feet sweat. They do run a little big. I'm usually an 8.5, and the 8 is a perfect fit with my Smartwool socks. On recommendation of the sales guy, I treated the uppers before the first wear to ensure that I protected my investment. So far, they have not disappointed. Highly recommend!

I ordered down a size like was stated but that was too small. Went back to my regular boot size - 8W. Seem to fit well now. I am still waiting to judge warmth when we get cold but they are comfortable and I am optimistic!

These boots are great for the cold! I usually wear an 8-8.5 and followed the sizing guidelines on the website and ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly! They were a little narrow at first but once I wore them a few times I broke them in. They are very comfortable and worth the money!

My foot tends to slip and twist inside regular width boots, making it difficult to walk on uneven terrain. These boots solved that problem. They are warm and waterproof, perfect for our boggy property. They are well-made and I expect these will last for years. Please keep making narrow boots.

Love them, good traction and very warm! A little stiff at first but becomes more flexible with wear!
