These are awesome boots! Perfect for running errands, short to medium length dog walks in Alaska during the winter (I have tested them to temps down to about 15 below so far). They are not super bulky like a lot of other winter boots. I am typically a women's size seven, and sized down to a size six. These fit perfectly, with room for a thick wool sock, but also comfortable with regular thin socks. I have a non-insulated pair, and pretty much wear bean boots year round when not at work.

I wear a 7.5 and a 7.5W in running shoes and got the 7 W in these boots. The fit is perfect! With thinner socks there's definitely some extra room but not too much. Highly recommend!

Beautiful boot! I usually wear a 7 m in shoes and I ordered a 7. It fit good with light, medium socks and pretty good with heaviest sock.I decided I could wear the goretex boot all year round. I have already worn the goretex bean bean through our first snow and - 0 degree day and my feet stayed warm! So happy!

I LOVE my Bean Boots! They are super comfortable and warm. The Gore-Tex isn't too bulky. The boots fit perfectly. I have waited a long time to spend the money and my biggest regret is waiting as long as I have. These are a necessity for the cold!!

This is without a doubt the most quality purchase I ever made in my life. I bought these in 2013 and still rocking them in 2021. Probably due for a new pair but they are perfectly worn to my liking. They held up great through snow, rain, etc. They keep your feet super warm and dry even in Northeast winters.

Keep my feet toasty when feeding my sheep especially when it's snowing.

I was skeptical about the comfort but they are heaven sent! I usually find comfort in a 10.5 but purchased a 10 and they are a perfect fit with wool socks. Great quality and comfort!

Wanted these for years; so happy I finally have my very own pair! They exceed my expectations - they're comfy, warm, and totally cool. Love them!

So far I really love them. The sizing is definitely something you should try on in store if possible. I wear an 8.5 and initially ordered an 8 as recommended but it was too small. The 9 fits great though. Looking forward to testing them out in more inclimate weather.

I have worn these boots for many years! The insulating factor works SO well, that I can push my bare feet into them in the winter mornings to take my dog our to "do her thing" & my feet are perfectly warm. Of course I do wear socks when I am heading our for an extended time in Maine's snowy winters, but whatever the weather, I am certain my feet will stay warm & dry. They seem to work my keeping cold out, not creating warmth, because I can also wear them on wet days at the beach in the summer. My feet stay dry, but don't get hot.

They're awesome so warm and sturdy. A must buy for anyone who is in the cold or snow.

These are the best boots to work outside at my boyfriend's farm and hunting property. At 61, I'm having the time of my life with my boyfriend in this new chapter of my life. I knew if I wanted to be with him, I had to learn to hunt and prepare land for hunting. This kind of work requires sturdy and extremely well-made boots. Thanks LL Bean !

My first shoe purchase from here and have been very excited to receive these. They are very nice quality, very warm and so far comfortable. I have not experienced shin irritation like other reviews have mentioned. Aside from the leather needing to be broken in, they are wonderful!

I love these boots. I purchased knowing if they broke I could probably return. I am tired of purchasing sub quality boots that rip. I was skeptical that these would be comfortable. I have feet issues and most shoes hurt. These are so comfortable! Love them.

This is my third try at getting some Bean boots that fit. I found the ones with Sherpa inside made the boots too narrow to wear with socks. I really like the Thinsulate lining on these. I could wear them with thicker socks if I wanted, but they were fine with some Bombas I wore to try them out. They might be a little wide if your feet are very narrow. I also like the 8" height. Tall enough to get in slush and some snow, but easy to take off an don.

I have livestock and I wear these boots all year long. I live in Missouri and still wear them in the summer. I have even started hiking in them since they are so comfortable. I own cattle and horses so boots are a must for doing chores. I have tried other boots and they don't compare to these, they fit good, last a long time and keep your feet dry and warm. In the summer they seem to insulate my feet from the heat. I wear them EVERY DAY! I had a pair that lasted 12 years! I won't buy any other boot for working or playing in. They are my go to footwear 365 days.

I just came here to say that I bought these boots 7 years ago for the cold snowy winters of Vermont, and I have happily been wearing them from November-April every day every winter since. I literally wear these every day in all cold weather and they keep my feet warm and dry. They will easily last another 10 years. Worth the money 100%!!!

Bought these boots to replace my 15+ year old ones. So glad I did! These boots are so comfortable I wish I could wear them all day. They fit perfectly, have a great arch support and keep my feet toasty warm. I've never had a boot that was this comfortable. Love them!

Comfortable and timeless style. My only regret is I didn't bother to look at all the boots when ordering and found the taller ones later when someone mentioned them. Oh well, I'm sure I'll treat myself to those next. Love that they're handmade and the HCP discount was much appreciated too!
