When the winter snow & ice come I'll be ready!

The fit is exactly what I always order for boots - a 1/2 size larger than my shoes. These fit just as expected. They are lightweight, yet able to keep my feet very warm & dry. Traction is awesome. I vacation in Northern MI each winter, so I rely on my boots to be just right. These are.

These boots are awesome. I read through the reviews before ordering and ordered a 7 when I am normally 7.5-8. I also have a high instep so ordered them Wide. They fit absoultely perfectly. The Gortex lining is great and they are extremely comfortable and warm.

Do like these boots but they were on backorder and I haven't worn them since it is now spring! But the 3 members of my family love them so I'm sure I will too!

After trying every style and height, these ones are the best in fit and color styling. Love them for the rain or snow. Order a size down for a good fit with light to medium socks.

These boots are everything I hoped for! They fit great (I have narrow feet and narrow heels). They feel great (love the lining in them). Would recommend this in a heart beat!

I got these for what is going to be a very wet and muddy spring. I read that they run large, so I got a size down (I wear an 8 and I ordered a 7). They're a little snug with my thickest socks, but perfect with my mid-weight wool socks. They're comfortable and look great. I'm looking forward to wearing these for the next several years!

If you wear WOMEN'S 8- 8 1/2 and use thick socks, order a WOMEN'S 8. LLB's sizes vary wildly with style, I heeded reviewers' comments and made the "commitment" to order several pairs. I am usually an 8-M....I wear rag wool socks with my boots because my feet are frequently cold. I also got the gore tex because I walk in snow and rain and mud sometimes. After ordering THREE pairs (backordered...took forever!), I will tell you that the recommended 7 was too small, too narrow....Even though I'm an 8 in shoes, the 8 boots still fit the best (probably because of rag wool sock). The 8M and the 8W fit about the same. Wonderful arch support!! I do not lace the boot all the way up....I do the bottom three, tie off and tie the remainder behind the boot (there are some significant style issues about how to lace your Bean boots!!). NOTE: Even though the boots were not fully closed, The leather in the back was VERY rigid and really hurt my calves for the first three 3-mile hikes...slight bruises! I wondered if the gore tex added rigidity, if I shouldn't have gotten the plain leather ones....but the fourth hike, something happened and they became PERFECT. You could wear these all day every day.....I cannot believe how comfortable and warm and waterproof they are...and when they are open at the top, they are very stylish! If you lace them and tie them off right, you won't ever have to tie them again....I now figure that the leather was so thick/rigid in the back because it's important to use strong leather for that pull-up loop....Awesome boots...an American icon! They really are as good as people say (maybe better)....I've had lots of boots, but none like these. Now I know why everyone wears these. Treat yourself. Thanks, y'all!

These replaced my 24 year old beans that I will now have to wear just out in the yard because they are too sad looking my daughter said. Cool yes but, sad! Happy to have a younger pair to grow old in. Thanks!!

I just got my boots. They're great. They keep me warm, and more importantly dry. I was able to walk through puddles without my feet getting wet. No problems with precipitation. Very icy at my house, was able to navigate safely, without slipping.

i ordered these about a month ago, and bc of popular demand, they were on backorder. but it was well worth the wait! i'm originally a size 8 with shoes. i have wide feet too. but i ordered a size 7, and they fit like a glove! the perks: they are super warm, very cushiony esp. with my high arch in my foot, and it makes my feet look narrow and cute (again, wide feet here). get them! even though winter is nearly over, i'm going to wear these in the cool rainy season. So, these are truly one of the best investments I have made in a long time. The boots are comfortable, cute and extremely practical for the unpredictable weather of Western Mass. As someone whose feet and hands are always cold, these boots keep my toes toasty. I would recommend wearing tall socks with them the first few times you wear them as the new leather may rub and cause irritation, but I wear tall socks with them whenever and I have had no problems thus far. Also, I wear a size 7-8 and I got a size 7. There is plenty of room and they fit perfectly.

I really love the way these boots and feel. They are comfy and feel very durable. Furthermore, I've been through a New England snowstorm with these and no leakage whatsoever. Look forward to using these for many years to come.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter and she loves them! She has a condition where her toes and fingers have poor circulation, which is painful when it's cold. These LL Bean Gore-Tex hunting boots keep her toes dry and warm.

Each of my 3 daughters has a pair of these boots and love them. They wear them all winter long and are always comfy and warm.

Comfortable and hard working, this boot is perfect for tromping to and from classes in the slush and snow. Love them.

These were for my dtr who is a junior in high school. I can barely pry them off her feet she loves them so much. She has also rec'd numerous compliments at school so it appears that the younguns are finally noticing an old favorite!

We just got snow last night so I happen to have these boots on right now. I grew up wearing these boots and finally ordered this pair after having my last pair for over 15 years. My last pair didn't have the inner lining so I really love this new pair with it! They are so warm and they fit great. I bought a pair for me & my husband for Christmas - perfect winter present!!

These boots are great! Love that they come in W width. Fit true to size. Soles grip very well. They are stiff at the very top but I expect will break in. Foot is very comfortable.

if you're in NE you get these, plain and simple. Waterproof and warm all the way up. seldom laced up. Good traction. Get them, pay the price, you'll have them forever.

I purchased these boots to replace a well-loved pair of an old style of 14 yr old LLBean boots that are no longer being made. Other reviewers seemed to have mixed suggestions about what size to order. As a 9 Wide, I ordered a 9 Wide and although the boots are longer than expected, I've worn them with heavy socks, and they are fine and still allow some wiggle room. The leather is a bit stiff but will break in over time and there is better arch support than I expected, another plus! Although I was told they weren't going to ship until January, LLBean delighted me when the boots arrived on Dec. 23rd, in time to be put to the test in the first heavy snow of the winter. I'm very pleased to have spent the money on these warm and comfortable boots and look forward to wearing them in the years to come.

It took me a while to decide on which boots to order, but I am really pleased that I chose these. They came quickly and are a perfect fit. I normally wear a size 7.5/8 and ordered the 7. They are narrow, but I have narrow feet so it works well for me. They are great in the snow and, most importantly, very warm. I highly recommend them.

I have been looking at these boots for years. I finally broke down and ordered a pair this year. Thus far they have lived up to my expectations. They are warm and comfortable. I ordered my normal size and the fit is great, especially with thick socks. If these ever wear out, I definitely will order again. Thanks for a great USA product.
