Got my boots in the mail last week & used it today:-) I'm a 6 1/2 shoes, but ordered a 6 & it fits perfectly. Very comfortable & wish I had purchased it a long time ago when I was always having wet feet. Now I'm telling my friends they should get one also. Thanks!!!!!!

I ordered my Bean Boots in December, but unfortunately they were back ordered. I didn't let that deter me because I really wants a pair and they were made in the U.S.A.! I read the reviews and sizing instructions and ordered a 1/2 size smaller as recommended. I am normally a 7.5 so I ordered a 7. When they arrived in late March, when I tried them on they were too small. I returned them and ordered a size 8 and they fit perfect and arch support was perfect. They felt so good on my feet. I do take a size 8 in a running shoe.. for what it's worth. Since I didn't get the correct size until April, I didn't get a change to 'test drive' them in the snow ; that will have to wait until next year.

My shoe size is 7 1/2 to 8 - ordered 7 wide and the fit is fine with a regular cotton/wool sock. Liked the confirmation and order update e-mails to track my order. They were on backorder, however, arrived a couple weeks after ordering. Worth every penny for a boot "Made in America"

Live in a remote area where we get lots of snow and mud. These boots keep my feet dry and warm. The only thing I would change are the boot laces. They are too stiff, so I went out and bought laces that are to my liking. My only regret is that I didn't purchase these boots sooner

These boots really need no introduction, and probably no review. I bought my Bean Boots for riding. I had been looking at muck boots to wear in wet/cold weather, and figured I'd try the classic Bean Boot. They rock! With the Gortex liner, this boot is ultra water proof and warm. I wore them riding with just a thin pair of boot socks and my toes were toasty and dry. They are also really comfy and the tread keeps you from slipping. Best part, when they are all nasty and dirty, I just hose them off. With the even sizes only, they do run a little bit, but the plus is it leaves plenty of room for a nice thick sock. Love this boot! Worth the price tag.

Good price for very popular shoes. I bought them for her for Christmas and she is wearing them in this snowy weather. She was very happy that her feet stayed warm all day.

I was somewhat reluctant to buy these boots because I have a long, very narrow foot and have alot of trouble getting ANYTHING to fit right! These boots are great! I wear a 10 and a half to 11 very narrow in a shoe and ordered a 10 narrow, as LL Bean suggested. If I try to wear a medium thick cotton sock, they are a little too loose in the heel, so I went thicker, and they are just right. They are slim-looking, lightweight, not at all bulky, stylish, and rather cute. Yes, they were stiff around the ankles at first, but I wore them around the house for two hours and they are now softer. I went outside and walked through deep puddles in the driveway, and they kept me dry. Now I'm waiting for a deep snow to really test them. I think they will work out just fine!!!

I love these boots! They do run big, I typically wear a 6 1/2 or 7. But the 7's were too big, I returned them and bought the 6 W's, they fit perfectly! These boots are warm and comfy!

So far, so great! Since I haven't worn them for weather yet, I'm just putting some notes down re fit for others who may be interested in this boot. I have a 'duck foot', narrow heel, wide across the toes & am very hard to fit in shoes & picky about comfort. I am a size 7 by foot length, but due to width issues I usually wear anything from a 7-8. I ordered a 7W since they were said to run large. The sizes do run large in length, it would be big for comfortable wear without thick sox. Perfect for width across the toebox and my heel doesn't slide up & down (a problem with a lot of 'wide' width shoes). Can easily wear 2 pr sox (one thick, one regular thickness) & still have plenty of 'wiggle' room for toes, could probably squeeze in with 2 thick pr if I didn't mind a snug fit. For those complaining about not being able to pull the boot on due to narrowness in the leg/ankle; I find that I do have to loosen the laces (a lot) all the way down & tug to be able to pull on/take off boot. Kind of a hassle, but I'm ok with it & think it may be easier once boots are broken in & leather softens up. My only 'complaint' is that the laces are way too short. I can only lace up to the 2nd from top hole & even then the bow is pretty short. Again, this may ease up as the boots & laces stretch & get broken in. If not, well, shoelaces are pretty cheap. All in all, a great fit for a gal who has an 'odd' foot & is extremely picky about comfort in footwear.

I bought these boots for my daughter - 25 - who frequently walks to work. They keep her feet warm and dry, fit true to size and she'll have them for the next 15 years, at least, if my pair are anything to go by. Speaking of which, I'll be the next one ordering a new pair, since my other daughter -19- begged to have mine, as they are still in excellent shape and are nicely broken in.

These boots fit very nicely. I'm waiting for snow or ice in the Atlanta GA area. I will be ready for all elements. A year ago, we had ice and the old snow boots I had were fine but not great. I think these boots will be great for icy conditions.

I ordered a size 7 for my daughter because she normally wears either an 8 or 8.5 in shoes. According to fit guidelines I followed on the l.l. bean website the fit is perfect for her. She is so happy with the quality and says they are perfect! Thanks L.L. Bean for delivering an extremely well made and good looking product.

I got these for my wife and convinced her to get the gortex and thinsulate. She loves them and is glad I told her to upgrade. They are expensive, but worth it.

I have a slender foot and these boots are not too boxy. I wear an 8 and ordered an 8, and the fit is perfect with medium-weight socks. Plenty of toe room. Haven't had a chance to wear them, no snow or rain since I got them. I expect they'll do fine.

Have only had these boots for a couple of weeks, but I am very satisfied so far. I originally got them to brave the upcoming Chicago winter but I find myself wearing them even when it isn't snowing. Definitely run large. I am a true 9 in just about every shoe and I got the 8 in these boots and they fit great with medium or thick socks. They are so comfortable and stylish. I am looking forward to wearing these for many years to come.

I bout these for my daughter as a Christmas present because my other daughter owns a pair and says these are the best shoes/boots she has ever owned. I'm sure my other daughter will like them just as much. This boot is what made LLBean, so I look at this as a lifetime investment :)

Purchased these for my daughter to wear at college where she has to shlep around in the snow a lot to get around. She loves the fit as well as the light-weight feel of the boot! She hasn't had to wear them in tons of snow yet, but she reports that they are really warm. I followed advice of other reviews and bought a size smaller -- usually she wears a 7.5 or 8 so I got a 7. Fits great! Looking forward to years of good use from them!

It has only been cool enough to wear these for a couple weeks and I already love them! I ordered them because they came in a narrow and were insulated and waterproof. I have narrow feet and this is the first pair of boots I have bought in a very long time that my feet didn't flop around in! The boots were very stiff upon arrival so I wore them around the house without laces for a while to soften the leather. Even now I only have them laced to the third hole and tied loosely so I can pull them off and on easily. They fit well enough I can wear them like a slip on and I love it!

I ordered a pair of boots from another online company and i paid about fifty dollars less and you could tell although they looked good i didnt think they would stand the test of time. SO then i sent them back and ordered these boots. When i got them i had ordered then with regular shipping to my surprise they came in no time at all. I opened the box and was pleasanly surprised. They are very light, mind you im not going to make a fashion statement with these boots but thats ok, i want them to keep my feet dry and warm and that is what they will do. I like to do alot of walking and i dont think i will have any trouble walking around the city in these boots. They are true to size and width and i cant wait for some snowy weather to try them out.

Very comfortable and warm boot! Perfect for rainy and snowy days. Wear a thick pair of socks for ultimate warmth in the snow. These boots are very comfortable and light. Heel takes a bit of getting used to when walking at first but otherwise very comfortable.

I just purchased these boots after spending last winter with very cold feet here in Buffalo, NY. It isn't winter yet, but I expect that these boots will perform very well for me, keeping my feet warm and dry. I purchased them after reading the many positive reviews by other customers. I ordered my regular size in a wide width, believing what others had written about them running a bit narrow. With wool socks, these boots fit perfectly! I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship of the boots. They are very well made. I was particularly impressed with reviewers who wrote that they have owned these boots for 15 years or more and that they were still performing well. Now that's quality! I can't wait to wear them this winter!

I recently purchased these boots. I am usually an 8 1/2 and did order the size 9 and they fit great! I also ordered them in a wide fit. They do not pinch my feet nor do they "slip" around. These boots are very comfortable and look forward to warm, dry feet this winter.

I had to write this review, I am actually looking for a new pair of boots for myself because my daughter has now taken ownership of mine, which I have owned for at least 25 years - since high school. They have been through winters in MA, blizzards in TN and IL, horseback riding lessons and too many stalls and muddy fields to remember and they still are warm and dry and my daughter is wearing them and loves them. She wears them hunting, in the snow, in the rain and to school. I think they will last forever! Thanks!
