I usually have problems with fit on boots, but these fit great and the first time out I wore them all day long. They are really comfortable!

These boots are fantastic and I can wear them with all my cute college outfits.

I have been wearing Bean Boots for 13 years, six days a week, year-round. They are extremely comfortable, and get the job done. It's good to be able to hose the bottoms off when they get muddy. My feet don't sweat in them, even on the hottest summer days.

These boots fit very well, I ordered the next size down from what I normally wear and with the right socks they are so comfortable I can walk mow 6 greens on golf course and my feet don't hurt.

I'm very satisfied with the look, feel and comfort. I often have to work around my lake and other boots have fallen apart and/or never keep my feet dry. These boots are amazing. I'm very pleased with this product. Also, I was skeptical about the size chart but I did follow their advise and my boots fit perfectly. I wear a women's size 8 and ordered a women's size 7. I was surprised to find they fit like a glove.

I have been wearing these boots for many, many years. They last forever. I buy a pair every 10 years just because it is a treat, not because they wear out. They were great when I lived up north, but they are still as helpful and useful now that I live down south. Snow, sleet, rain, mud, they are perfect in any weather. Well worth the money...these boots will outlive most husbands, boyfriends, etc......

i bought a pair of these boots in high school. i'm 34 now and they are still in perfect condition!! i wear them skiing, hiking, sledding and just walking to the store. they may be a little more expensive but you'll have them for 20plus years!!

I'm very happy with my new L.L. Bean 6" gumshoe boots. I can't believe how well they grip the surface. With all of the snow and ice we'vehad this winter, I was looking for a dependable boot that would provide traction. I was a little leery of buying a shoe a whole size smaller than I normally wear, but I followed their instructions and the boots fit beautifully! Now I want to buy the loafer style in this boot.

I've wanted Bean Boots for ages...finally bought them for myself this Christmas! Love 'em. They run big, as I was warned, so I ordered accordingly and they are perfect! Now, all I need is some MUD!

My wife loves everything about them. We are having an especially wet winter here and our daily routine requires walking over sloppy and rough ground. The boots are perfect for that AND they have also made a fashion statement around her job. I've been wearing mine for years and now I wish I'd gotten her a pair a long time ago. Very satisfied with the product.

Love the boots.. They run large I purchased a size larger and wear with a thicker sock.

I spend a lot of time in Portland, OR and snow and rain are the norm in winter so I decided to look for a new pair of boots for this winter. I've always wanted a pair of these Bean Boots and finally decided to take the plunge! I'm a 9 in athletic shoes and followed the fit guidelines to settle on a 9. I had to exchange them for an 8 as they were too long and way to big all around. The 8's fit great and I wear them with a pair of medium weight socks to keep my feet warm. Your feet stay dry and warm and you don't have to worry about splashing or slushing! LL Bean customer service was AMAZING and helped me to get the exchange done quickly and with very little cost or trouble for me. I've never had a CS dept. volunteer so much in the way of service without having to ask! That alone would make me buy from LL again (and in fact I already have!), but the boots are pretty darn fantastic too!

The 6" height is the one for me; high enough to keep wet stuff out without being the more restrictive 8 or 10" heights. I use them around the yard and occasional horseback riding. Versatile all around boot when you don't need a specialized one. The larger sizing of this boot is one full size below my shoe size while still allowing extra sock room. My first pair uncharacteristically had a leather fatigue on the pull strap and I replaced them with the exact same boot. Love 'em!!

I was very happy with the service I received I love my Boots and when they wear out I will be buying another pair But, I don't think that will be for a long long time...very comfy and sturdy...thank you for having such a great product...P.S. My Husband Loved his too.

I've owned these boots for 10 - maybe more actually years. I really only wear them in the fall/winter so they've lasted forever and are still like-new actually if I cleaned them. They're the L.L. Bean quality you know and live in a timeless New Englandah boot. The huge downfall to these are that the tongue is connected to the top of the boot so there's not a ton of room to get your foot in. After all these years it's just as hard and I'm so tired of trying to tug them on with hulk-strength I wear them mostly just for shoveling snow now because of it. I have a size 10.5 foot so this could be just an issue for big foot ladies lol. If you have lots of hulk strength, enjoy! They're truly the best once they're on your feet!!

I normally wear a size 7 1/2 or 8, so ordered the size 8M. These are a bit longer and wider than I need. Perhaps a 7 would have been better, but didn't want to risk another return shipping fee, so kept the 8. Can deal with the extra roominess by tightening the laces. Took a number of wears to soften the boots up, but am pleased with the comfort at this point. Pleased to have a product made in the US.

The boots are a moderate height- adequate for all but the rare snow storm (climate change) in Indiana. The boots are also good for wet, muddy situations. My new boots are just as well made as the pair they replaced (15+ years) which were only replaced because my feet have grown. At first, the front of one boot pushed into my shin, but after bending the leather and wearing the boots for short periods, they are now comfortable. The one thing that was slightly disappointing is the quality of the laces. They seem thinner and wimpy compared to the old shoes' laces, and the lace tips are not solidly sealed so they may soon start to fray. Overall though, excellent boots.

Until the boots are "broken in" they are uncomfortable around my ankles.

Not quite as high as the 6" bean boot I purchased years ago. At least it is still made in the USA>

I first bought a less expensive brand, but could not get them on at all (high instep). Returned them and bought these, following Bean's sizing guide. Perfect fit. I have worn them for several hours at a time in muddy conditions; they are consistently comfortable.

Love the boots, completed an even exchange, should have been the blue-brown was sent. A bit of a hassle to return again. Christmas gift for my wife. She decided to keep the brown, but preferred the blue.

Very good quality boots. Im usually a size 10. After trying on on the store, I went with a size 9 and it fits quite well with a medium to thin sock which is my preference. 9 1/2 really wouldve been better, but the 10 was definitely too big and they dont do half sizes which is unfortunate. With insulated L.L. Bean boots, I wear my usual size 10. A bit expensive, but a very good investment in my opinion as these feel like they will last for years to come.

The insole on these was not comfortable for me but otherwise I love them so much. It was easy to pull out and replace with one from the drug store. Fixed the problem for me.
