I have bought 2 pair of these boots and they are very comfortable. Unfortunately they don't last very long. Although they have 3 row of stitching, they fell apart on me in no time. I finally ordered another pair and they were put on back order for so long that i finally cancelled the order. Too bad, I thought found the boot of my dreams.

Nicely made boot but I cannot understand why the tongue is attached. For someone with a high instep it is impossible to even get the boot on. Make the tongue detached and it would be a great boot.

Before ordering the 6" boot I had ordered and received the 8" boot. I really hadn't wanted one that high, but it was the only one in the catalogs that I had. When I tried it on it was too long and I exchanged it for the next size down. That one wasn't perfect but was good enough to keep. Then I received a catalog that had the 6" boot in it. Holding on to the 8" boot until I could try the 6" one, I ordered the 6". The leather was much stiffer than that of the 8" boot--so stiff that it cut into my ankle where the top ended. I had to return the 6" boot and have kept the 8" one. I am not sure how the 6" boot can be made comfortable unless the leather can be much softer.

I am returning the Bean Boots due Defects in the boots. The right shoe in the front, between the rubber and the stitching of the leather, the clue is coming apart. When the clue comes apart more, they would be no longer water proof. They are also the most painful boots I ever bought. Inside my boots around my inside ankles the ankles are swollen, and I have irritated ankles. I have never had any broblem withe my ankles untill I starting to wear this boots. I am very disappointed with these shoes. I have heard great things about these shoes. Everybody keeps telling me to get gum shoes, they will last. I guess not, and they did not tell me how painful there are.
