I've ordered this Bean Boots from France , as an huge fan of this boots. I've followed the size guide and as a 7,5 , I've bought the size 6 and it's perfect with "normal" socks... The leather is very soft and the shoes feel really confortable... Very easy to combine with a pair of jeans for a relaxed but nice look. I'm 100% satisfied with a fast international shipping ! Can't wait for the fall weather to come to try them in "real" !

I followed the fitting guidelines, and the shoes definitely fit just right. I'm normally an 8.5 size Women's US, and sizing down to the 7 fit just right. I also ordered the normal width, and it was just a little narrow on one of my feet. However, once I walked around and moved I didn't recognize the feeling anymore. The shoes are certainly water-proof, and they work well in a slippery environment.

Ever since I bought my first pair of LL Bean's Boots I consider them an essential part of my life. I have worked on farms and in stables for many years and use the 6" size usually due to often finding myself in mucky stuff and mud and this height works best for me. This boot gives me all day comfort and I am definitely in them all day. Even the brand new boot "break in" period was near immediate. The leather used is nice and flexible. The tread is crucial as any one knows if they work with animals and sometimes navigate difficult terrain and the bean boot tread keeps me on my feet not under any. Not clunky either like some brands so I can move fast when I need to. And of course in my line of work I need boots to be waterproof and they most certainly are that and so easy to just spray the mud or dirt right off. I find the best fit and what is most comfortable for me is with a medium weight sock. My last 2 pairs had lasted me many years due to the great resole and restitch service - always had one pair as a backup while the other was being restored so I expect that I will be purchasing another pair on the heels of this one when I need to get that work done later on this pair. I can't say enough good things about the quality, comfort, durability and good looks of these LL Bean boots!

I wear an 8.5 or an 8. I was worried about ordering the recommended size 7, but I am glad I did. They will easily accommodate the socks I wear- moderately thick. Also, I was torn over which height to order. I went with the 6" and love it. If you are on the petite side, (I'm 5'5" tops) it's a good height. Also, the taller the boot the more difficult to get into. I primarily wanted this for rain but now see it should work during my day to day needs for typical winter snow in Ohio.

I have been purchasing items from LL Bean for about 35 years, Last week I had the opportunity to vist the Flagship store in Freeport, Maine. My entire family was with me on this trip. First of all the town of Freeport is fabulous. The Stores that LL Bean have in the town are just out of this world. The selection of items is fantastic and the service is great. We pruchased several items, Boots which are fabulous, Womens shoes that are also fabulous, a pilots case, (Luggage) which I can not do without, two more zippered Boat and Tote bags, also fantantic a leather dog collar ( Our Dog , Rory, who is an Irsh Setter) loves it and men;s sweathers ( my husband who does not like to shop, he could have spent several days at your store, He just fell in love with it) these items were also fantastic. We look forward to returning next summer.

I was very hesitant to buy footwear online. I found the L.L. Bean video on how to choose a boot size and found it very helpful. I have had these boots about a week, have worn them on 5 days, and find them to be very comfortable. I love my boots!

My friend recommended this shoe for the upcoming rainy season and next winter. I was pleasantly surprised with how durable these shoes are. I would recommend checking the sizing chart before ordering. I was skeptical with ordering a size 8 when I am a 9, but they fit beautifully. I wear the shoes around the house to break them in but other than that I adore them. The only downside was that they were back ordered, but I understand they are popular. Get them while you can!

I was a little skeptical about how the boot would fit once I received it. If you follow the size guide you shouldn't have any problems. My boot fits perfectly!

Love wearing my Bean boots for those raining/wet Louisiana days! They are the the perfect Mardi Gras shoes! I always get complements on my boots during the season of Mardi Gras.

I've always wanted a pair and finally got mine. They were worth the wait. I ordered a size 7, typically wear between a 7 1/2 and 8 and these fit perfect. I have a little extra room in the toe area which is great. Look forward to wearing these in the FL rains and on my trips to the mountains of TN. Thanks to the boot makers, quality work!

These boots were worth the wait - I wear a women's 10, usually a narrow, and the 9AA was the perfect fit. Would recommend the 9 normal width if you will be wearing socks fit for a northeast or mountain/out west winter, as I live in NC and get away with a lesser thick sock.

I'm a real Mainah but never wore bean boots. Don't know why, just weren't on my radar. I do remember clomping around the house in my dad's when I was little. All I can say is "love them" and the fact they are made in Maine by Maine craftsmen make them extra special. I wish more of Bean products were made in the USA. My boots were made by Jeannine! The duck boots were a gift for my daughter. My daughter is away at college, so I promised to het her know when they were being shippped. Everyday she would track their location and when she knew they had been delivered she was even more excited to get home. The following weekend she made a trip home and was thrilled to get the duck boots. She wore them the entire weekend. I am very pleased with my gift to her!

These boots are a timeless example of the excellent quality of made in the USA goods. The fit is perfect and the workmanship is as well. I fully anticipate that the durability will be as good as the pair I had in the 1970s. I bought this pair for my 16 year old granddaughter who asked for them based on the quality and style. I was delighted that she had such good taste. Thank you, LLBean for continuing the high quality of American made goods!

I ordered these in early January, so they were on back order for about a month. After 3 weeks, my account was charged, but for the whole day there was no tracking info to tell me if they had shipped. I e-mailed Customer Service, and 9 minutes later got an e-mail back saying that they had been packaged and shipped. They arrived 2 days later. I normally wear a 9-9.5, but ordered an 8 narrow for no reason other than that the normal width was on back order for a whole month longer than the narrow, so I figured it was worth a shot, but they turned out perfectly! These have held up great in the rain and snow so far. They are super water proof, but comfortable enough to wear all day at work. I love them and highly recommend them!

ahhhhh, these 6-inchers were much easier to get into than the 8-inchers. arrived just in time for some upcoming rain (and perhaps snow, too?). got the wide so they work great with my thick woolies.

I purchased this boot for my daughter. She said that it is the best shoes that she has ever worn. She normally wears a size 7 but was able to go down to a size 6 and she says that she still have plenty of room in the shoe. Would highly recommend this shoe to any one.

These boots kept this southern girl's feet warm when I was visiting NY and the temps were in the teens. They were perfect with my smartwool socks, and took very little time to break in..luckily since I got them 3 days before my trip! I was hesitant about getting a wide, since I've never gotten wide before (only width available in my size), but they were comfy and my feet said "thank you"..Not only are these the rage on college campuses now, they are a comfy warm boot.

I've been wanting a pair of bean boots for a while now, but never had a store near me to try them on. I decided ordering was worth a shot, because of the free shipping, and decided on the 6" boots. I'm usually a size 7, but have very wide feet which makes finding well-fitting shoes difficult. I read the prior reviews and decided to size down to a 6, and I got the wide pair. They came today and fit absolutely perfectly!! The size is just right, and I can wear them comfortably with medium thickness socks or snug with very heavyweight socks. So happy with my purchase!

I noticed someone wearing these boots recently and realized they would be a perfect casual winter boot (I walk in and outdoors throughout the day) without being overly bulky. I searched online and found the boots through LL Bean and decided to go with the 6 in. Women's boot so they would be a bit easier to wear for me. Got them in the mail a little over a month ago and I can't even count the number of days I've worn them so far! I had read that you should go down a full size for the boot and didn't trust that it was true. Thankfully I was able to stop by a retail location and try them on myself and, sure enough, the 7's were perfect for me (I normally wear a regular width 8). I've found that they have plenty of room for thicker socks and yet seem to fit comfortably and fine with thin socks as well. Such a great purchase and I can't wait to enjoy them for years to come!

Absolutly love these boots. They are very roomy perfect for a pair of heavy wool socks. Great for slushy and rainy weather.
