Absolutely love my LL Bean boots! I ordered these last year, backordered for 4 months but totally worth the wait. The boots keep my extra cold feet extra warm and do great in the rain and snow! FYI, keep away from fire pits. I melted the bottoms a tad and had to send back for repairs. Customer service was fantastic though, and had no problems contacting by chat or phone.

My daughter decided after I sent a picture of my Navy Blue/ Kelly Green 8 inch she wanted a pair (last minute decision) she thought she wanted another brand but tried mine on while on Christmas break she was in love,didn't like how the 8 inch rubbed her leg so went for the 6 inch they were for Christmas but I had to let her see them and try them on she is so happy. Her dad still wrapped them ,he thinks she hasn't seen them. They were supposed to be here by January 4th they came early.Thank you to the makers of the Bean Boots! Everyone who orders these boots appreciates all the hard work and long hours you work to get these boots out in a timely fashion.

After lots of thought, I finally bought these boots and they were everything I dreamed of and more. Their sizing tips work, I got a size smaller than normal to wear with lightweight socks and they fit well. The boots are so cute and provide the protection and warmth I need during tough Wisconsin winters. I keep getting compliments every time I wear them too. Absolutely love these boots, worth the money.

I just got these boots today but I already love them. I live in Colorado and it's always a struggle pulling out the bulky winter boots just to go around town. I'm so happy I now have these to throw on and I know my feet will stay warm and dry. Growing up in the northeast, I remember getting the LL bean catalogs as a kid and getting to go through and choose things for christmas/birthdays. My parents ALWAYS had Bean boots and now as an adult I have my own! I followed the sizing instructions and ordered a size down than my normal size (usually wear a 9, ordered an 8) and they fit perfectly. Will update review once I've had these longer.

My first pair lasted 20 years. I wore the soles smooth, but they are still comfortable. I recently decided to buy a new pair. I wear an 8-1/2 narrow, so I ordered the 8 regular, and they fit perfectly with my usual double pair of socks. I am sooooo happy to have good grippy soles again, and they've broken in quite quickly. Yay, LL Bean!!!!

I normally wear size narrow 9.5 or 10, if the toe box is narrow. I had to go down to a size 9 narrow in this boot, even with the thick LL Bean Cotton Ragg Camp Socks. The fit is perfect. The toe area is roomy and the rest of the boot fits like a glove, so my foot doesn't slide around. The boots are very comfortable.

First, let me tell you about my feet. In a perfect situation a 6.5WW or 7WW with a narrow heel is what all my shoes would be. Alas, they only make dumpy ugly shoes in that size, if at all. So usually get a 7.5W and make it work. I tried to order these in a 7W based on the fit notes & ordering guide because I wanted to wear them with wool socks. The shearling boots I *really* wanted are back-ordered until Feb. These regular Bean Boots in the 7W are backordered until Jan. So I ordered the 6W and prayed they would fit (thank goodness for return policies). Well, they arrived today and they are a PERFECT. I can wear them with wool socks and the width is just fine. The rubber is soft but durable unlike other boots that look the same. The leather part is stiff but will soften with wear. I am so happy about these boots. Thank you, LL Bean, for making a true wide width boot. I love you! I wish I hadn't waited so long in getting these or wasting so much $ on lookalikes. I'll be loyal from here on out!

I have been wanting these for awhile and decided to finally order. I wear a 7 wide normally and I was advised by a helpful operator to order a size down. So I got a 6 wide. These are perfect! I can wear with a regular sock or thick sock. I have arthritis in my feet and these are super comfortable. Today was a snowy, slushy day in upstate NY and these were wonderful. Kept my feet warm and dry! Love these! Do not hesitate to order.

I bought these boots mainly for an upcoming trip to England and Scotland. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. As the reviews state, they run large so I ordered a size 8 wide (I usually take a 9 W) They fit perfectly, I put on a pair of wool socks and they are ready to go. Have been walking in them and no break in period. I think they'll do great in whatever wet, snow or cold I encounter in the UK.

LOVE these boots!!! I wear a 11 M normally so thats what i ordered even after reading the reviews about running big, i thought they couldn't be that much bigger. I also ordered a pair of llbean thick camp socks to wear with them. But i should have listened to the recommendations because even with the camp socks (which i also LOVE!!) the boots were still too big. Too long, wide and the arch support in the boot didn't line up with the arch in my foot. so i ordered a size down,10. they came and fit like a glove!!! Even with the camp socks. they are made incredible well and i know will last me a long time! unless you plan on wearing two pairs of socks i recommend ordering a size down, in my experience.

I tried to buy these for my daughter last Christmas, however they were on back order until March. This year I bought early and got them last week. They're classics, tough and L.L. Bean all the way. Can't wait to see her wearing them on Christmas day.

I love these boots! They are warm, comfortable and keep my feet dry. I wear a ladies 5.5/6 and ordered a kids 3. They are a little long in the toe but my feet feel comfortable and have room to breathe. I look forward to breaking them in, it was worth the wait.

I love these shoes! I would definitely recommend them! They run big though. I would order a size smaller. My favorite shoe!

I usually wear sizes 6.57 in shoe/boot sizes but went with LL bean's sizing guide and ordered a 6 narrow. Medium width was sold out and I was worried narrow might be a tight fit. Fortunately, with thick socks on the 6 narrow have some room left. Not loose but just enough to keep my feet comfortable. Have not worn them in icy/snowy weather but I can tell these boots will help me through the upcoming winter. Boots are well made and stylish as well.

I purchased the Bean boots in preparation for a cold wet winter (with the exception of a rogue blizzard we don't enough snow here in the Mid-Atlantic region to plan for anything snow-filled). Nostaglia also played a major part in my purchase. They were a big hit in the late 70s & early 80s. Finally last year I decided not to memory lane it any longer and just relive this blast from the past. Unfortunately they were backordered but no worries I knew a time would come soon when I'd simply try again. I gotta admit I was really concerned with ordering a whole size down. My feet are wide so I figured it was highly likely I'd have to return the boots. Amazingly they fit perfectly and clearly the LL Bean rep I chatted with re: my order was well informed! Great color and excellent quality!Now I think I'd like to buy a pair of 8" boots! Thank you LL Bean!

I've had lots of feet discomfort--wide, flat, high in-step feet--difficult to find comfy foot wear. Despite my instep, I'm able to put these boots on without problems. They fit well, with thick sox (which I could never do before), so do consider buying a smaller size. I live in WI, and these should do just fine for those winter storms and shoveling. Way cool!

I am ashamed to admit that I have lived in New England for half a century and this is my first pair of real Bean boots! I have had several similarly styled competitors' brand boots, but now I know what all the fuss is about! These boots are fabulous: they are of top quality contruction, look terrific on and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I love them so much I ordered a second pair one size larger to wear with extra-thick socks in colder temps!

I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide -- the 7 wide fits great. These are so comfortable -- need no breaking in period. You will love these. I wish they would add a navy option for the 6 inch style.

Be sure to read LL Bean's sizing recommendations as they are correct...I did and they fit perfectly. I can't believe how comfortable these boots really are. I did not need a break-in period to make them so as they were completely comfortable right out of the box.... I even went on a 2 mile hike right after getting them and couldn't believe how good they felt!!!

These boots were for my daughter and she loves them as much as I loved my first pair! Exceptional quality as always!

I put on some socks, took the shoes out of the box, fixed the laces and off I went. They fit from the start. No rubbing, blisters or pinching. Great fit and comfortable, good looking too.

I contemplated for months about purchasing these shoes. Glad I finally bought them. I should have listened to the reviews, as they do run a whole size larger. Overall great though! They are much more feminine and more lightweight and comfortable than the Sperry Brand. I'm so glad I returned those and purchased these nice LL Bean Boots!

Thank you Rana for making my boots! I love them and I hope you are proud of your work. I followed the advice to order one size down. Worked perfectly. Normally I am a 8 Wide. Ordered a 7 wide...just right. I intend to wear a lightweight sock...maybe a med weight. Haven't broken them in yet but cant wait!

Love these bean boots. Perfect for fall and winter (if you add some wool socks). Like the descriptions says, these definitely run big. I like them big though because they will fit thick wool socks inside.
