...finally got them! I really like that I can send them back in to LLBEAN and have the soles and/or leather replaced! I will be wearing them a lot so they will eventually need that work.

Contrary to most of the reviews here on the 6in Bean Boots, I LOVE these. They arrived in great condition--no loose stitches, separating from the sole or anything people have complained about. They're a bit tight to get in but it'll loosen up once I wear them in (typical to most boots/shoes in general IMO). These do run a bit larger (typically) and I'm a 7.5. So, I ordered a half size down to a 7 so I'd leave room for thicker socks in the winter. Even with thinner socks (for the fall/spring rainy days), they still fit completely fine with no issues. I also ordered the medium width and they fit great. Shipping was SUPER fast and overall I'm very satisfied!

Comfortable boot even in warmer temperatures. The leather is a bit stiff at first but breaks in quickly. I wear size 8, medium width in athletic shoes. The size 7 medium is a perfect fit with enough room for thick socks. Being 5'3", I like the shorter boot. The 8" would have definitely been to tall.

These boots arrived just after a record snowstorm and came in very handy. They are warm, comfortable and kept my feet dry and got good traction in the snow and the slush as it melted. They will be great during our wet and messy winters.

These boots will be great for the odd icy/snow weather I get into. They are really heavy. They would also work great for the rainy weather down here in the winter.

These boots are awesome! Best rain boots I have ever had. Totally keep your feet, comfortable (I am on my feet 8+ hrs a day). Great sole, get compliments all the time too.

Every time I have called for help, the people who answer the phone are by far the nicest customer service Ive ever dealt with. And when my shoes came they fit perfectly! And the craftsmanship is unparalleled anywhere. These are shoes made with excellence and care. I haven't even had to break them in. They just fit like Ive been wearing them for years!

Perfect boot for all weather. I wear a 7.5-8 and the 7 fit with normal socks but there's a little room for thicker socks. You will not regret getting the original duck boot.

I bought a size 7 and normally wear a size 7. I wanted to be able to use a variety of socks with the boots. While they are a little too big with thin socks, it isn't bad. They are comfortable, durable, and do well in water. I can't wait to keep wearing these! They are my new favorite cold weather shoes. My feet do not get cold when I am outside for an extended period of time in these boots-even with thinner socks.

I love these boots. They are well made and keep my feet dry. They are more comfortable to walk in than I expected, and I think they are kind of cute. I want to talk about size, because I had a hard time finding the proper size. I normally wear a 7.5 sometimes 8. I ordered a 7 and 6 medium width. The 7 fit great width wise but was too long. My foot slide around in it if I tried to walk fast. The 6 fit great in length but kind of squeezed my toes on the outside. I ended up sending both back and getting a 6 wide. I have never had a pair of wide shoes before (my feet are normal to slightly wide) but that is what I needed in these. They fit great. I can wear normal socks or really thick socks with them.

I really love this boot. Definitely size down as I usually wear a 6 in boots, and the 5 fits great and has a little room even with a sock.

Boots do run big. I usually wear a 7W and ordered a 6W and they were a perfect fit. The website does mention they run big, so pay attention. With that said, I absolutely love them! They are very comfortable and are great in the rain. Would definitely order again.

I wear a 9 in shoes. The description was on the money when they said order a size down. They are not super heavy, warm enough & comfortable to wear while standing at work. Very happy they are Made in the USA as well!!!! Best purchase ever. Loved them so much I bought another pair for my teenage daughter & one for my adult son! THANK YOU!!!!!

I love these Bean boots! I purchased my regular size. They are a bit large, but with 2 pairs of wool socks my feet are super warm and comfortable. They are great to wear in the snow and provide a very sure footing. They are nostalgic...my dad always wore Bean boot when I was a child.

Love them! I have them on now!!

I use these boots all the time during especially during the winter season. Great for taking my dogs to the dog park.

I finally decided to try these boots after so much rain in Northern California. My normal size is an 8 narrow, so I sized down to the 7 narrow and they're perfect! Only time can answer about the overall quality (no rain to splash in for now), but to have a pair of rain boots that are far more secure on my narrow foot is a blessing indeed! Thanks, LL Bean!

they keep my feet dry and warm

Love these boots! I was concerned about what size to order based on the sizing guidance from LLBean, and the customer reviews, so I ordered both a size 8 and a size 9. I normally wear size 9.5 to 10, and I ended up keeping the size 9 pair. They are a perfect fit according to the "L.L. Rule of Thumb": I can press the width of my thumb between the tips of my toes and the toe end of the boot. We've had several inches of rain and some flooding here in Kentucky over the last couple weeks and my feet have stayed warm and dry. The boots are comfortable and functional; I only wish I'd ordered them years ago!

When ordering my duck boots the description on how to order according to your new normal shoe size was very accurate. I normally wear an 8 or an 8 1/2 shoe and I ordered size 7 in my duck boots and they couldn't fit anymore perfect. The medium B width is what I chose for my duck boots and they are perfect width for my narrow foot. Me personally I like room in my shoes for my toes to be able to move around so the medium B was perfect for me. Another good thing about these duck boots is that they even look good with a little mud on them! My order shipped to my house very quickly. Within the same week of ordering. I love my duck boots and they are very surprisingly comfortable!

One thing to note about Bean Boots is - like they tell you in the product details, order a size down if you're between sizes! I have a pair of size 10 8" shearlings and these fit my skinny 9.5 feet MUCH better. They're cute, comfy and I know I'll own them for the next 20 years.

I ultimately chose the 6" boot after trying on the 8" version as well as the insulated 6" and 8" ones. I'm 5'2" and the shorter uninsulated boot felt more comfortable for my calf and foot. These boots run large, as they are constructed to be worn with heavy socks. I typically wear a women's size 7, but I went with a whole size down (6) in the boots. I wear thinner and medium weight Smartwool socks with the boots and they fit just fine. The leather upper is good quality, and they squeak a little since they're new, but I like the sound! The boots are very comfortable from out of the box. Even though they are uninsulated, the boots are still quite warm and they certainly keep your feet dry. They are versatile and perfect for rainy, slushy, and snowy weather. They are my "go to" boots for walking the dog every day. I was very happy to get a free pair of colored laces of my choosing when I bought the boots, which I think makes them look cool! It's a great quality boot that is built to last.

I bought these for my daughter and she is completely satisfied with the quality and the fit. She loves them! They are everything she hoped they would be.

I normally wear an 8W or 81/2M. I sized down to 7W based on recommendations. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable.
