I gave the boots to my son living in Seattle (lots of snow, ice and rain). He said they came at the perfect time and they fit so well! Perfect gift!

Love these boots. Just had a boom cyclone hit and drop over 12" of rain. Feet were high and dry and very comfortable.

Ordered the boots in the size I wear in every other shoe, but they are cut big! I returned them and got a size smaller & they fit great.

Love the boots, hate the laces. Like trying to tie sticks

Well made and quality materials. I only gave it a 4 Star because I haven't tried it in snow or rain and will wait for the results before totally endorsing the product.

They tend to run a little larger. My son wears an 11 and he was swimming in them. Not sure how to return them because I ordered them through customer service with my charge card. They are the boots he wanted, just ran large on him

It started with sending old 6 inch boots for repair. Unfortunately, I was informed that the repair was not possible. What followed was a new pair of boots in the mail. What a nice surprise around Christmas time. It was also a good time to "pay it forward" with a "boot sized cost" donation to a local free medical clinic. Thank you, L.L. Bean.

Too big he wears 11 1/2 didnt have that size so I ordered 12.

I am 71 years old,,I needed to buy Memory Foam Soles for comfort. Other than that I Love them so far for Wnter use

Maybe it's just the larger sizes, but these run very large. I normally wear a 12 or 13, and the size 12 of these is pretty big on me. I HAVE to wear *huge* socks and they are still big...which is how I like boots anyway!

Excellent boot but didn't come with the laces. Had to recorder the entire item in order to get the laces. Now I still have to return the new boots......

Size 7 was too small. Size 8 to large. They dont have 1/2 sizes anymore.

It is well made and has a good fit. Looking forward to many years of fun wearing them.

Absolutely amazing rain boots, they are my 2nd pair of L.L. Bean boots. Unfortunately I was not aware that they could be re-soled Live and learn

They are a bit large (size 9 D) but then again I only wear them as garden shoes and I should wear a thicker pair of soaks for better comfort. otherwise these boots are very well made AND they are not make in China like nearly everything else for sale in this country. Good old American quality.

Comfortable, well made boot as expected. Was told that wait for the order would be about 4-6 weeks. Got them in one week, great example of under promise, over deliver.

Received half of my order, 6" mud boot. I've been wearing the LL Bean mud shoes and boots for over 20 years. Always satisfied with this footwear. Always! Just not happy waiting for the other pair of shoes. : )

A decent boot, but know that it has no (zero) insulating properties. It is rubber lower sewn and or glued to a leather upper and there is a joint which in all probability will leak. I wore these at 19 degrees with wool socks and my feet were cold. Not freezing, but very cold. They haven't leaked...yet but I suspect two or more inches of water may challenge them. I bought these to wear out on photography trips and they are light, mildly weatherproof and reasonably comfortable but they are not what I'd call a field boot. As long as I stay on dry ground or pavement in above freezing weather they are great. They are much lighter than a field boot and for that I'll use them in moderate conditions. A little pricey for what you get however.

Ordered a 10 a little large doesn't come in half size. Will keep and wear heavier socks otherwise he loves them

My girlfriend got these for me for Christmas and they are a great boot. Extremely comfortable and goes well with multiple styles of pants. Very versatile boot that works well in multiple weather conditions.

Was told by gift recipient that the boots fit well and were comfortable but would be even more so if the stitching seams were covered with a liner. We will purchase a cushioned insole as well.

I normally wear a 15 D (dont laugh) so I went for the 14EE unlined 6 Inch Boot and true to the sizing instructions fit excellent...I thought the unlined were going to be a bit uncomfortable but boy I was wrong... felt very supportive and the unlined made it feel more like a shoe than a big cumbersome boot...especially with my big boats...Even with a somewhat heavy wool sock fits fine,...Very Happy with these...only critiscm I can muster is I do have a pair of New Old Stock Gumshoes in the dark brown and some of the other reviers are correct, the leather uppers do seem a bit thinner and cheaper than in my older model gumshoes....that being said its all about comfort with my difficult to fit size and these new 6 inch boots are very comfortable....If anything perhaps the thin leather upper is the reason it required no break in period....fit well right out of the box which is rare for me...Perhaps in the future you might consider a hybred of lined and unlined...Leather Upper lined in thin flannel while leaving the lower unlined....a little warmer but still have the shoelike bottoms....But either way would buy again
