Needed a pair of boots for the winter. Amazing price, brilliant fit, and unerringly stylish. Gotten a ridiculous number of compliments. Gives me grip in the snow and on ice AND keeps my feet extremely warm. Definitely would buy again.

. They are my new everyday boots, I absolutely love them. I am in college in South Carolina and the uninsulated boots are great. I wants to buy the insulated ones for when I come home to New Hampshire.

They looked like a great boot. My Grandson with be getting these for Christmas, as he saw them in the catalog. So only he can tell me how they fit and feel Christmas Day. I am happy I was able to order the boots for him.

As recommended by LL Bean, I bought one size smaller than my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly. I had the 8" boots for years and they were too large, so I am very pleased I finally bought these. I am a size 12 and bought the boots in 11. Very pleased!

Great shoes/boots! Love everything about them, but they run even a little larger than described on the website. I wear an 11, ordered a 10 and they are still a tad large even with medium weight (somewhat thick) socks.

i was always experiencing damp feet with leather shoes,but with these boots my feet stay dry all the time.good fit and very comfortable.

I wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 running/normal shoes, so I ordered size 9. However, they were little big on me as I like to wear these boots not completely tied most of the time. I reorderd 8 via phone and sent the 9 boots back; they were done really quickly and the person on the phone was very helpful!

I was hesitant in getting these even though the reviews are so great and Bean Boots have an almost cult following, but I'm glad I rolled the dice and got these. I was worried because of the heel shape that they may be unstable. They aren't. And the sole is much "stickier" than I thought it would be, which is great because I know they won't slip on slick surfaces. The fit is spot on (be sure to watch the video and get a size down). I'm usually a 12 but went with the 11 and they are perfect. They squeaked really bad when I first got them, but after breaking them in the leather has softened some and stopped squeaking. Overall, Bean Boots are my new favorite boots for fall/winter. I plan on wearing these for a LONG time to come.

This is my second pair of these boots. They are great in all kinds of weather and I look forward to wearing them this winter especially.

I bought these for my fiance and he loves them! He normally wears a size 9-91/2 in boots so I got him a size 7 and they are a perfect fit. He usually has to stretch just a little for better width so I took a chance and got the EE width and I'm glad I did.

I had the low cuts and gave these a try, I find the quality tops and as for wearing them, light and comfortable

I find them very comfortable. I like the way they are made. Sturdy but not heavy. I consider them of really high quality for a reasonable price.

Purchased for grandson for his birthday and he liked them so much he is wearing them daily to his school. The transaction was very professional and shipping was prompt and on time using the two day shipping since our new 17 year old didin't give us a wish list til the last minute as usual. My 3rd pair, great boots for working in the yard, bird hunting or even wearing for a casual dinner out. If I remember right though they used to send a small packet of leather gel to rub on the leather uppers, wish they still did that. Nice touch.

I just bought a pair of the 6" Bean Boots. It's not like these are new to me....I have several pairs already from the slip on mocs to the lace up shoes and at least 3 pair of the 8" boots. I pretty much live in them three seasons each year. The rubber bottoms keep my feet dry in the slush and snow in winter, or the dewy grass in summer. They are perfect for fall yard chores. One feature I have come to appreciate is that unlike heavy lug-soled boots, the soles on these do not pic up mud and slush carry it into the house. When I recently found myself about to go into the woodcock covers here in Downeast Maine without my Maine Hunting Shoe, I did a near panic. All my rubber bottomed boots were at my winter home in Massachusetts, 370 miles away. So on a Tuesday before bird season, I called Beans and ordered yet again another pair...this time the 6 " version. They arrived in the local Post Office on Thursday. Beans does not advertise the 6" boot as an upland bird hunting boot. They are really too low for that and all manner of forest litter will ( and did) end up inside. The taller versions are better for hunting. These 6" boots will be just the thing though for general mucking around when the 8" boots are a bit of overkill. I do wish I could still get these with the lace up hooks like my old ones.

After using the pair my father bought in 1988 for the past ten years (the shoes are still in perfect condition), I decided to buy my own pair. These are the only boots I will wear in the snow. Outstanding quality, affordable and L.L. Bean has the best customer service I have ever dealt with.

Great fit...so happy to find a man's shoe in a narrow width. The fit was perfect. I followed the recommendation on the site for fit...ordered down a size. Wish more shoes were offered with a narrow width.

bought my first pair of bean boots. love them. was waiting for rain here in the carolinas so i could wear them for the first time. finally it rained so i got to wear them on my trek outside and they were awesome. so awesome, that i wear them regularly, rain or shine. very happy. i'm a size 12 so i bought an 11 and they're perfect.

I bought these boots to kick around the yard/farm and odd errands around town. I live in a college town and students are always asking me about where I bought them. Its make an older guy feel sharp. Out of the box the leather is pretty stiff but they will be perfect once the leather has broken in some I would recommend bean boots to anyone wanting a fashionable utility boot his is my second pair. The first last almost a decade.

Was first introduced to L.L. bean boot in the early "70's" with felt liners. Before the Internet they were the best boots out there, an, still are. Now have pair of 8" an 6", very light an comfortable.
