I wear these boots mostly in the winter and shoulder months walking my dog in heavy woods. They are great for all conditions. What I would really appreciate is the same boot with removable felt inserts for deep winter.

My son loves his boots and so does his friends. I'm certain that other boys on his college campus will be ordering them too.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He wears a 13 1/2 to 14. I purchased the 14 and we had to exchange them for the 13. Perfect for the snow and rain. Keeps his feet warm but no too hot.

Fast delivery, boots fit well with thick socks ordered a size larger.

My husband absolutely loves his 6" Bean Boot; wears them all the time. They are a good boot in the snow as the traction on the bottom is wonderful and since we're older folks, it's important for safety. Thanks for another great product. Recommend this boot to all men and women too. My granddaughter got them for Christmas and she loves them.

Bought these for my son who lives in Richmond, VA, and he loves them. He's usually an 8.5 and I bought a size 8. They fit perfectly. They keep his feet warm and dry and he loves how they look. Very happy with the purchase and how happy he is with his new boots.

Great fit, style and comfort! Made extremely well and fits perfectly! UPS did a horrible job getting them to me. LL Bean customer service intervened on my behalf to help get them delivered. I've been an LLB customer for a long time because they have such high quality products.

My 26 year old son requested a pair of these boots for Christmas. The on-line store was sold out. I used the store locator and called stores in other states. I finally found them at one of the LL Bean in New York. The salemans was great and shipped me the boots to North Carolina. They arrived in time for Christmas!

I have always wanted these boots. To be honest, I tried to find this style in other stores to keep from ordering through the magazine, but there were no other places that satisfied the look I wanted. L.L. BEAN had the perfect look I wanted in a boot and now I'm the happiest man. I moved to Virginia Beach, Va from Indiana, but I love the snow, so I needed a light boot that was warm and stylish when I returned for a visit. I will never purchase another boot other than L.L. BEAN. They have a customer for life.

LL Bean made in Maine boots are terrific for lakeside activities. From launching kayaks to splitting wood, these boots are comfortable and worthy of the outdoors. They are a bit larger than regular shoes. However, with sole inserts plus heavy socks, they fit like gloves. These boots are so attractive I do not want to get them dirty. However, with a quick rinse, they are good to go. It is great to find a good boot made in American. Keep it up LL Bean!

I placed my order for the hand-made 6" men's boots, for my new husband of one year, just two weeks before Christmas, and was immediately advised that they would not be ready until after Christmas, as they are all handmade and handstitched. But, to my astonishment, they managed to arrive just in time for Christmas! I was so happy! My husband had a pair of these boots for years, and had them re-soled 3 times before they couldn't be repaired/restitched again. He just loved them, so I was delighted to be able to get him another pair, made with such exceptional workmanship and quality. Now I can add GREAT customer service to the list! Thank you L.L. Bean!!

I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them. He usually wears a size 14 but I ordered size 13 and they fit him perfectly. I think that I need to get myself a pair now.

Love the boots, but I mostly want to talk about how awesome LL Bean customer service is. They are the best. I had a delivery issue and they were phenomenal. Sorted out the problem in no time and boots were on my feet 2 days later. I will come back and buy from them again and again because they are a fantastic company. Good stuff LL Bean. Good Stuff.

This is my second pair of 6" bean boots. In the past I always ordered the pull-on "lounger" model but with their cancellation I went with the 6". I actually like these better than the pull-ons. I do not lace them so I can just slip them on and go. I have kenneled hunting dogs so I am constantly using these boots for chores. They are great when hosing out the dog runs and other yard chores. My normal shoe size is a 12 but I order these in size 11 for a proper fit.

My Mom purchased these for my birthday and had them shipped to me where I go to college. At first I thought they might be too big, but then I tried on the next size down that someone had where I live. They were too small. So these boots are a great fit. Look at the sizing chart, they are supposed to fit a little big for the warmth. I have been wearing these boots every day. Love them!

Quality and comfort - nothing less then I expected.

Great boots - always have been - nice to see them still in style after all these years - my son asked for some for Christmas and he is 18. Showed him mine that I got when I was a teenager! Still have them, still wear them and in great condition after all these years!

These LL Bean Boots are a wet weather essential. They slide on/off quickly making them great for short trips to bring in wood or the newspaper. Bean Boots will keep your feet dry in mud, slush, and puddles year round. Good traction without deep cleats that will track in a bunch of mud. They are not designed for extreme cold so if you are looking for a boot for extended wear in subfreezing temps get the insulated version or a different boot. They are also not designed for extended hiking. Taking the sizing advice I ordered one size down--it fits well with light and medium weight socks.

This boot is very comfortable as advertised and 100% water proof. I use it to walk on winter snow and my feet feel dry and no water get in. I am very impress in quality and craftsmanship. i look forward to buying other stuffs from ll bean and will recommend it to anyone who need a good pair of boots.

Excellent boots. Highly waterproof. I'm very impressed with how comfortable they were right out of the box. I usually wear 11.5 and ordered an 11. With midweight wool socks they are a touch long but fit great width-wise. I'd consider sizing down to a 10 but I think that would be a little snug for me. Overall I'm very, very happy with the purchase.

My son always wears size 11 shoe. For this shoe, size 9 fit him best while wearing thick socks.
