AWESOME!! I had ordered a pair over 10 years ago and loved them. After the kids got a hold of them they seemed to fall apart. I was tired of having my feet get wet and cold every winter. I tried to order a pair last Christmas but I didn't order until December and my size was sold out. This year I ordered a pair on Friday, November 14th. They were delivered on Tuesday, November 18th. Couldn't have asked for any quicker delivery. The weather has turned for the worst and I was able to wear them today. The fit was perfect (I ordered 1 size lower than normal) and wore them with regular athletic socks. I can probably go up to a medium size winter sock. I would recommend L.L. Bean boots to anyone.

Read reviews prior to purchase. Reviews said they are large and to order size smaller. I need 10 1/2 and ordered size 10. They fit fine with an insert pad. Have worn in wet pastures and they keep my 68 year old feet dry. When your feet are wet and cold, you are cold all over. Shipped one day after order and received in four days! Good service. (I had an insulated boot like this in Wisconsin when I was a teenager. I think that it was LL Bean)

As advertised! Very satisfied with 6" boots. They're perfect for wet winter walks in my neck of the woods.

These are absolutely amazing. The quality of the boot is very evident. I wear them practically every day. I typically wear a 10.5 and ordered a 9 per the website's suggestion and they fit perfectly. I truly could not be any happier. I believe in paying more for a quality product and these boots are just that. Very well made, I'm proud to own a pair.

The boots were exactly what I expected. It became very cold in the northeast and with thicker socks they were very warm. The boots are great quality. Thankful that I made this purchase. Was able to buy the men's size 7 and were perfect fit for me I typically wear a women's size 10. I did downsize and again they were a perfect fit.

I purchased these as a replacement for my previous identical pair which I wore for at least 25 years (or more?). The fit was perfect right out of the package: the quality remains outstanding, and I am planning to wear them for at least 25 years. A unique product, and the signature product of a fine company.

They fit about a size too big just like the fitting information said on the website. If you order one size smaller than you normally wear then you will be good.

Bought a pair for my daughter and son........they wear them just about everyday! Especially now that its so COLD!

I'm a college student, and our town gets a lot of rain. After ruining a couple pairs of shoes, I finally gave in and looked for some rain boots. A friend recommend the 6" Bean Boots to me, so I went ahead and ordered them. I normally wear a size 13, but the 12 fit perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the boots. They keep the rain out, and they look great. If you're a college student who needs to walk around a rainy campus all day, don't hesitate.

I normally buy a wide shoe when available, so I ordered these in a wide as well. Almost too roomy. But using a thick sock it works out ok. Most likely could have gotten away with a normal D width. Boot is great. Was working around a muddy area so it kept my feet warm and dry. But after moving away from that area, I was sure I would still need to take off the boot to go inside. But the bottom pattern does not have deep grooves so the mud did not cake in and allowed the mud to fall off. Very satisfied with the shoe overall and seems to be very durable.

Great Boots! Last a long time even under hard daily use. This is my second pair and wish I had ordered my first pair sooner. No comparison to the cheaply made ones that only last a few months. Be sure to order one size smaller than your normal size.

I ordered my Bean Boots because they are back in style. I thought of ordering a cheap knockoff but after watching the video on your website, I knew immediately that LL Bean was the best. Because my size was not available, I chatted with customer service who suggested maybe a men's size in narrow would work for me. Great idea!!! They fit perfect, look great and keep my feet warm and dry. Great product, great customer service, speedy delivery. Thank You!!

I was debating between these and the other ones with a liner for insulation. These proved to be just as warm when worn with wool socks. I've gotten plenty of compliments on them and they're well worth the investment.

I think these are great boots! I initially thought they were a size too large, but after putting on a thicker sock they fit quite splendid. Even without the thick sock they fit with just a bit extra room, and aren't cumbersome. You can tell just by looking at these boots how good their quality is. I look forward to wearing them for a long time to come!

I purchased my LL Bean 6" boots to keep my feet dry while walking a very inquisitive and puddle loving dog. My tennis shoes weren't doing the job. LL Bean has a great reputation for quality products and they did not disappoint. I also appreciate that they are made in America. A note of caution...all my shoes are size 11, so I ordered size 11..my feet slid around inside, even with "heavy socks"..I ordered size 10 and they fit perfectly..be prepared to use their great customer service department in case the size isn't "right" the first time!

These bean boots are perfect for cold,rainy weather. I'm in construction and these boots keep my feet dry and warm. They do run big so size down. I wear 8.5 and the 8 fits great. My son and daughter both have a pair and they love them too. They are high quality boots..

I've owned Bean rubber moccasins for decades, and decided to buy the 6" boot for wet season beach walks. I ordered the same size as my moccasins (10W), and was not disappointed in the fit. (They appear to be built on the same base.) Be aware that these are "ice skate" sizing, e.g. sized for wearing the kind of jumbo thick socks that aren't really common anymore. Hence the sizing advice to buy 1 to 1 1/2 sizes down from your actual shoe size. I wear 11 to 11 1/2 street shoes, and the 10s are just right. A good fit should have a little space ahead of the toes. Also make sure you understand what kind of boots these are. They are not cold weather or snow boots. They have zero insulation, and the gum sole isn't much fun on ice. They are wet weather boots, which is why the tongue is not "free." This makes them a little hard to put on. But that keeps your feet dry. These are perfect for wet season on the Pacific Northwest coast. I've only worn this pair a few times, but they look as well constructed as the moccasins I've had several years, and the pair I had before that, which went decades before wearing out.

I will qualify what I stated ... "Quality & Comfort Don't Come Cheap". These boots are truly very comfortable and I am happy with the purchase. They are pricey "for me" 'cos I'm a senior with a fixed income. If I'd gone for lower-price boots, I could have easily gotten 2 pairs. One minor thing ... the shoe laces are too stiff for me to manage. I replaced them with a pair of much softer type fabric ... so tying the knots is now much more manageable for me.

My three boys LOVE these boots! As soon as the weather cools they pull them out for the fall and winter seasons. Worn daily and endure all that my three can offer. These boots are made to LAST... I ordered a size smaller than their normal athletic shoe size as they do run large. The sizing recommendation offered on the website is on target!!

I've had bean boots before but it had been at least ten years, it has always been a very good boot you just need to listen to LL Bean when it come to sizing them. I ordered a size 9 boot for the first time since I was young and it fit perfect normally I would have ordered a size 10. Boot fits with regular and heavy socks. Bring on mother nature!

These shoes are extremely comfortable, keeping one's feet warm very well.

...but the best USA quality and style. Bought my first pair from Freeport, ME in 1995 and show my American style off in Britain every spring, summer and autumn !!

Best boot ever. Have had them for several years - not one problem. I have a relative that purchased a look alike boot from a big box hunt/fish store. Shot in two years! This pair I purchased for my son, and he says he now has "happy feet"! Made in the USA - doesn't get any better than that!
