I really love this coat it's light weight but warm and like the movability of it. The color is great and fits good.

I ordered it a bit large so I could layer it over a jacket or heavy sweater on the coldest days. So far, we haven't had any really cold weather. Even so, I love the coat.

In my quest to stay warm for Colorado winters without the burden of a heavy jacket my purchase was perfect! Please note I purchased this jacket one size up to layer and the size is perfect.

This coat is lightweight and so warm and has an inside pocket to protect my phone. Love the fact that it is waterproof as well since my husky has to go out rain or shine. Have a small problem with the zipper stitching but thanks to LL Bean's awesome return policy and customer service staff, I have a brand new one on the way. Having a company stand behind its products is a huge plus for me. I feel safe whenever I order knowing that Bean has my back.

I love my coat it fits very well. I also love how light weight it is I'm glad I purchased this coat I also like the color. I get lots of compliments wearing this coat.

This coat is WONDERFUL!! It's practically weightless but keeps you warm! There is room for wearing an extra sweater if you like... but this coat, no matter what you wear under it, keeps you warm and very comfortable!

I really love the fit and feel of this super light-weight, super warm jacket! Walking the dog on the most bitter-cold evenings I feel NOTHING coming through this warm wonder. My one concern/gripe is it's constantly shedding down. Any time I look at the coat there are 3-4 "sprouts" just begging to pop out. I hope it doesn't eventually lose so many feathers that it loses its warmth or effectiveness. I also hope LL Bean will replace it if it does!

This is an awesome coat I had one for several years and I bought another one. I usually wear a small but I like it a little on the bigger side so that I can layer underneath.I like the fact that it is very light in weight

I really appreciate the quality of this coat. Ended up getting an extra large as my usual large was a tad too fitted.The plum color with the gray lined hood is pretty, it's so light weight and love the two way zipper!

I originally purchased the 3X based on the measurements given on site, but when I received it, it was pretty large. I exchanged for the 2X, which is still a bit roomy, but it worked out well when I was in NYC. I wore my backpack under my jacket and it was roomy enough for me to keep jacked zipped even with a backpack underneath. It was warm. The hood was great. All around my favorite jacket ever!

I've been wearing this coat for a few weeks now and I really like it. I've worn it for normal day-to-day uses and it's been good. Maybe it gets a tad warm walking through stores in it but not too bad. It is not as puffy as my old coat but has proven much warmer despite how thin it seems. The zipper is smooth, the arms are roomy enough to fit over a sweatshirt, it's nice that the pockets zip closed. I did learn that the only way to keep the hood up is to zip the coat completely to the top, otherwise it falls down the first step I take. I wouldn't think that this would be warm enough for all day outdoor excursions, but that's why I have a ski coat for those things. I highly recommend this coat!

I'm a petite person and so I usually shy away from puffy winter coats because they feel huge on me. I ordered an XS Petite and it fits me perfectly and is not that puffy at all. It's truly both incredibly light and incredibly warm at the same time.

I have large busts and I thought getting the plus size would be a better fit when wearing a sweater. The plus (1x) was too large in the hips, so I returned it for the regular XL. Both coats fit the same in the bust. If the size chart had listed the hip measurements I would have saved time in getting the correct coat for me. I like the hood, it stays up when the zipper is fully zipped without feeling confining. My daughter tried my coat on and liked the length. Since she watcches many soccer games for her kids (in CO), she thought this coat would work well for her. She bought one. Both of us love our coats. They are lightweight AND warm.

When this coat first arrived, I thought there was some mistake because it was so thin - no way this is an 850 fill coat and no way is this going to keep me warm. Boy, was I wrong! It is feather light, but keeps in all of your body heat so you stay toasty! I wear it for my early morning dog walk (in the Boston MA suburbs) and it is perfect. I would highly recommend this coat if you're looking for warmth without the bulk.

I wanted a warm winter coat and this fits the bill. I have 850 sweater coats and 3/4 length also. While this particular coat does not come in petites, or with raglan sleeves, the regular size works, especially for layering. You offer good outerwear choices!

ll bean has always been my favorite store. It something wasn't right they took care of it till a customer was satisfied. I love this coat I thought with it being so lightweight I wouldn't be warm. To my suprise I was very warm in it. It was well worth the price Doris

After buying 3 winter coats I finally found the perfect one. Its as if this coat was made just for me. The Arm Length is perfect, Length is Perfect and it fits beautifully. I am a Plus Size Women and I have a very hard time finding a good fit in a coat. This one fit the bill perfectly. Thank you LLBean for finally thinking of the Short and Very Plus Size Woman.

If I could I'd shout it from my rooftop - buy this coat - buy this coat - now!! It is the best coat I think I've ever owned and I'm old!!! It is super warm - so very, very light - extremely flattering and just everything I want in a coat. I'm so happy I purchased it and even happier every time I wear it!! Thank you!!

This coat is not bulky and is very warm. May need some layers under it in very cold weather. It's packable too!! Very happy with this purchase. Much warmer than other similar styles I had tried before purchasing this one from LL Bean.

I was very glad to get this coat. Thus far, I am always nice and warm in the cold weather. What I like most is the lightness as it does not feel like I am wearing a coat. In the cold which is why I got the mid length, no cold air hits me. This is a great coat.
