My husband doesn't like many down jackets, but LOVES this one! It's made well, and looks just as good as the more expensive down jackets out there. Highly recommend!

Great weight and warmth for cold days in Ohio. It will be a little to heavy for days in the 40s if you are active or in a car and a little to light for the coldest days of the year but this will be my coat for the majority of days until spring.

I got this for my husband for Christmas to replace a jacket that is very warm but weighs a ton. He loves this one because it weighs almost nothing but keeps him nice and toasty. Since it's not at all bulky, it's easier to move in, especially when driving.

Have not had long (1month) but weather has been typically Maine, cold. Jacket is very light yet very warm. Seems to keep cold wind out without the bulk. Really like the freedom of a light weight coat that is warm. Easy to roll up in ball and take along to use if needed. Few feathers have escaped the confines of jacket mainly around cuffs, will see how it holds up. So far very satisfied.

This is now my everyday winter coat. It's warm but not too warm you can't wear it everyday, which I do. It looks great as well with the contrasting zipper.

Very warm and light, fit was perfect. Too soon to see if the nylon holds up.

The coat is light weight but warm. It is nice because when you wear in a store you do not get to hot and it keeps you warm outdoors, looks great.

My teen is reluctant to wear winter coats in the winter. Drives me crazy! This jacket folds up into a nice compact pocket bag, which makes it nice for boys on the go.

The logo was a little too prominent for my taste. I ordered the black jacket and use a black marker to dim the logo. It worked out fine and I wear the jacket almost every day.

Live in Colorado. Havent fully tested it's water resistance but have had it in light sleet and freezing rain. Very warm. Recently wore it on a 28 degree hike on the mountains -- snow on ground and very windy. This is all I wore (cotton t shirt underneath) and was very comfortable. Cant comment on durability but researched down jackets at length and settled on this one based on specs, price, and Bean reputation. So far from -3F snow shoveling to prolonged hiking in sub-alpine conditions I'm glad I purchased. I have a decently athletic build with a bit of dad fluff and the fit is perfect at a regular length, large. Have tried it with my wool mid/base layer for fit and happy. Add a true waterproof shell and this is perfect standalone or used in layering system.

Bought this for my husband in the juniper color. He looks great in it and it fits well over a heavy flannel shirt. He's worn it several times in below freezing temperatures and it kept him warm. And he says he really likes it as well!

A very light and warm and quite attractive down jacket. I wish you could find thicker loft jackets and coats for those who prefer warmth over weight and packability. But that aside, it does provide near weightless warmth with excellent protection from rain, snow and wind.

This is my second Ultralight, after shredding the shoulder on the first one with a tumble on asphalt. The most amazing thing about this jacket is how something so warm and fluffy can fit in a 3 lb. coffee can with room to spare. The large is a perfect fit for my 5'10". 190 lb. frame. The only thing that I can think of that would make it better would be to have a 2-way front zipper so you can relieve the pressure on the bottom when sitting in a car.

I would expect a jacket this size to feel warmer. Aesthetically pleasant.

I've been wearing the jacket for a couple of weeks in 20-40 degree weather on my daily walks. The jacket has kept me warm without any additonal layers. It's been almost perfect. The only issue is I wich the zipper was two-way. Having the ability to get to the inside pocket from the bottom would make this the perfect jacket.

I bought one on Sale, a while ago. Noticed they were on Sale again, and for the Price, crazy not to get a second. Reason for taking away a Star ... I prefer 2-way Zippers; when I bend over, or sit down, I do not want to have to open the enter Zipper, to comfortable do it.
